Joe ‘Bite Me’ Biden verses the Reality

First I want to say that I truly hope Joe Biden gets help for his drug problem – clearly after many of his remarks, he’s on them. Get help Joe – you need it.

Anyway I guess you heard what Bite Me said now…

Biden: ‘We’ve seen this movie before’

“For eight years before we arrived in the West Wing, Mr. Boehner and his party ran the economy literally into the ground,” he said. “We’ve seen this movie before, Mr. Boehner. We’ve seen it before and we know how it ends.”

Really?

Biden conceded that the economic recovery was not proceeding as fast as the administration had hoped, but claimed there was “no doubt we’re moving in the right direction.”

Problem is they’ve never said which direction they hope to go – if it’s down then that’s a true statement, otherwise it’s a lie.

Yeah that prior eight year really sucked deficit wise compared to Obama – what about unemployment? (NOTE: Bush spent way more than I liked but he was a rank amateur compared to Obama’s spending.)

Gee seems the unemployment under Bush was on average about 5.3% and under Obama it has been on average above 9.5% with a real unemployment rate is way over double that at 22% yeah the good old days they were horrible – if you were HOPING to be unemployed – but don’t worry Obama CHANGED that. Now unemployment is easy.

Well I’m sure Obama’s tax plan will make everything OK – right?

Obama’s Tax Plan: Bad for Economic Growth

Small businesses that employ the most workers would be particularly hard-hit if the top income tax rates go up.

Ok – well I was wrong about that – what else? Well BiteMe let’s have a look at some of the great leap forwards under Dopey and Thief…

Foreclosure rates surge, biggest jump in 5 years

More homes were taken over by banks and scheduled for a foreclosure sale than in any quarter going back to at least January 2005, when RealtyTrac began reporting the data, the firm said.

U.S. Bankruptcy Rate Skyrockets

The financial crisis just won’t go away. It has manifested itself in the poor performance of the housing market, the failure of hundreds of banks and an unemployment surge. One more problem that has emerged as a result of the recession is the soaring rate of bankruptcy filings across the nation. Bankruptcy filings rose by 20% in the past year, according to the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. A stunning total surpassing 1.5 million bankruptcy cases were processed between June 2009 and June 2010, up from about 1.3 million in the prior 12-month period.

CD Rates are Falling: Bad News for Savers

The news of low overall interest rates could be good for borrowers and not so good for savers. Borrowers can look forward to paying lower fees when returning money on a loan which will them help pay off debt more quickly.

Savers are not so lucky. If you are living on a budget and stashing away money for later in CDs, you will not see high returns on those accounts. Many economists don’t see the problem improving in upcoming years. It can be frustrating if you are attempting to be responsible with your finances but not seeing much in return.

Food stamp use hit record 40.8m in May (2010)

The number of Americans who are receiving food stamps rose to a record 40.8 million in May as the jobless rate hovered near a 27-year high, the government reported yesterday.

Number of Houston homeless children increasing at rapid rate

According to statistics released in 2009 by the Coalition for the Homeless of Houston/Harris County, 2,891 homeless children lived in the Houston area. That number has nearly doubled in 2010, as 5,404 children have been reported homeless so far this year.

The number of Americans who are receiving food stamps rose to a record 40.8 million in May as the jobless rate hovered near a 27-year high, the government reported yesterday.

Tell me Joe do I really need to go on? We are on to your bullshit delusional lies and propaganda that things are better now than they were under Bush – Obama and Biden cannot point to a single success that their policies have yielded – not one! Oh the liberals will say the auto bailout was a success… really is it? GM is desperate to shake the “Government Motors” image and get out from under their thumb. How about the “Cash for Clunkers” program it was a fail. Oh they will say that Obama’s long delayed surge in Afghanistan was a success – a surge that fell 10′s of 1000′s of troops short resulting in a troop death increased to record levels under Obama. So tell me Joe what have you and the other idiot in office done that has worked? Where are the jobs? Where is the growth? Where is the booming economy? How about a easy one for the great communicator – foreign policy – how’s that working out? Not to good huh? So where are your successes Joe, where?

Don’t buy anything that comes out of this administration – the only truth I’ve heard is the claim of the “Fundamental Transformation of America” they just didn’t finish the sentence which said… ‘into a third world, third rate country.’

Yeah Joe, we’ve seen this movie you speak of before and you have too and it was shown in November 1994 and it will see it again this November when you tax and spend progressive morons are sent packing back under the rock from which you came. Remember Joe – what Nancy Reagan said “Just say no to drugs.” It’s good advice, take it.

Reality just ate Biden’s lunch.

Facts vs. Propaganda

First the FACTS -

Fed set to downgrade outlook for US

The Federal Reserve is set to downgrade its assessment of US economic prospects when it meets on Tuesday to discuss ways to reboot the flagging recovery.

Faced with weak economic data and rising fears of a double-dip recession, the Federal Open Market Committee is likely to ensure its policy is not constraining growth and to use its statement to signal greater concern about the economy. It is, however, unlikely to agree big new steps to boost growth.

From the White House the PROPAGANDA …

A Summer of Recovery

With tens of thousands of projects funded and millions of Americans on the job today, it’s hard to believe that it’s only been 16 months since President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. And with so many jobs saved and created already, you might think that the Recovery Act’s greatest impact is behind us.

But it’s not.

As the summer heats up, it is becoming clear that it could quite possibly be the most active season yet when it comes to recovering our economy. There are Recovery Act-funded projects breaking ground across the country that are creating quality jobs for Americans and economic growth for businesses, large and small.

This summer is sure to be a Summer of Economic Recovery.

From The Hill the assessment …

Obama tries to sell ‘recovery summer’ amid slow economy

President Barack Obama and his team are trying to sell Americans on an economic recovery this summer, but the economy is stubbornly refusing to cooperate.

Obama and his Cabinet officials will fan out across the country over the next few days to spread the message to voters about how effective their $787 billion recovery plan has been, an effort they’re calling “recovery summer.”

The administration’s message has run into several negative economic headwinds that have led to worries the economy is at risk of entering a double-dip recession, not a recovery.

So while Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the lying scumbags in the Democrat Party try to claim we are in recovery – the reality speak otherwise. Meanwhile while you scrap and struggle to get buy the Obama’s live large on your money.

Pelosi: Unemployment benefits create jobs?

Nancy Pelosi telling America that unemployment benefits are “One of the biggest stimulus’s to our economy.”

Waite – it gets better.

Speaker Pelosi went on to say that unemployment benefits are actually “Job creating” and that unemployment benefits “Create jobs faster than almost any other initiative you can name.”

I really don’t know if this woman is as stupid as she sounds or if she really believes that we are and if she says it we’ll all go along. Oh there are plenty of lemmings out there that will buy her BS but for most Americans she is just an idiot.

Where is the border? And other thoughts…

So I’ve been doing a little test with people – name the states on the southern US border… can you do it? It has really surprised me the number of people that can’t, it’s shocking really. How adults can make it through school and seemingly graduate from high school and college that cannot name the four states on the southern border is beyond me. Really I’m at a loss of words to describe this amount of idiocy and we wonder how Obama got elected – well I don’t and as I’ve said before we are living on a land of utter morons.

Now if you by chance find someone that actually know the FOUR states on the southern border – up the ante and ask what states are on the northern border. Can you name them without a map?

I’ll give you a hint – there are 13 in total and Arizona is not one of them.

President Barack Obama Parkway … and other stupid things

Leave “president” off Obama Parkway? Council says no way

It’s official: An 800-foot stretch of Orlando road is now named “President Barack Obama Parkway.”

The City Council voted Monday to rename a short section of Mission Road between Cason Cove Drive and Conroy Road in Obama’s honor.

What number of official stimulus road project was this? Remember Dopey flew on our dime to Ohio to announce the 10,000 road project paid for with stimulus money… problem is most of it is a sham then again naming a parkway after Obama is about as stupid as claiming projects being built before Obama was even elected are a result of stimulus money.

Here is one of many local project under way before 2008 that they are claiming are a result of stimulus money sham…

Why is it a sham, well let me tell you – before I every heard of Barack Obama (ah the good ole days) they were building a new road – 4 lane divided highway that they’ve talked about for decades through the LBL (Land between the Lakes) – they’ve been actually working on the new road through it since before 2005/2006 over 2 years before I really knew who Dopey  Obama was and a full 4 years or more before the Stimulus Bill was signed.

I drove through the LBL several times over the last couple of weeks and guess what – there are big Stimulus Project logo signs all over it claiming this road project was paid for with stimulus money – well how the hell is that possible when the road was planned and underway before Obama was even a Senator? This was not a new road it was being built during the Bush years, it was being laid out during the Clinton years and I kid you not they started talking about improving this road since Nixon was in office and now I’m suppose to believe that some stimulus bill is the only thing that made this happen and that’s just one – I haven’t since a road project yet that wasn’t under way before Obama that is now sporting a Stimulus sign – so IMHO it’s all a sham.

Lies I tell you all lies and it’s not the only bogus road project Ive seen.

Is Obama admitting the STIMULUS FAILED?

Well no, but in a roundabout way what else could it mean?

Obama Appeals to Congress for $50 Billion in Emergency Aid

WASHINGTON — President Obama is pressing Congress to approve emergency aid money to support economic recovery and help avoid widespread layoffs of public workers, the Washington Post reported Saturday.

Congressional leaders received a letter from the president asking for almost $50 billion for distribution to state and local governments, saying that increased spending is “urgent and unavoidable,” the Post reported. The money would protect the jobs of teachers, police and firefighters.

“Because the urgency is high—many school districts, cities and states are already being forced to make these layoffs,” Obama wrote, “these provisions must be passed as quickly as possible.”

Excuse me where the hell did that trillion in stimulus money go? Why can’t these state governments cuts spending and why is it always… every damn time spending has to be cut the Democrats play the teachers, police and firefighters will loose their job card? Why not cut road crews that send 14 people out to fill one little pot hole? (I’ve seen it, it’s true) Why not cut the clowns that set around all day and surf for porn? What not cut those that get busting abusing government credit cards for personal gain? Why not crack down on fraud and waste? Don’t tell me they these aren’t there I see it all the time – why not cut useless State Capitol staff that do nothing more than collect a check? Why not cut the Governors perks like private jets when they can drive what about the Governor Mansion do we really need that in these tough economic times the toughest since the great depression? Give me the damn budget and highlighter pen and you’ll see some spending cuts ASAP.

Here is another idea the other day I was at the local High School and school is out – it was well over 90 outside and I walk into the mostly empty school – a huge school were about 12 people were at and the temperature in the school was about 60 degrees – I shit you not I was freezing and one of the people there told me they had a space heater running in their office to stay warm! So I ask what does it cost in electricity to cool a 10′s of 1000′s of square foot building down about 30 degrees from the outside temperature? And it’s not just schools you go into any government building and it is ice cold in the summer and hot as hell in the winter and meanwhile all governments tell you to run a fan, open a window or put on a damn sweater and wrap up in a blanket… I’m sick of the hypocrisy! If government wants me to sweat my ass off inside in the summer and freeze it off in the winter then lead by example or shut the hell up. I keep my house about 79-80 degrees in the summer and when – like today the heat index is a 110 outside, 80 feels pretty good! As for the winter I burn wood and set the gas heat on 65-68 because unlike the government I can’t raise anyone’s taxes to pay the bill! I tell you what – I’m going to go on a one man mission if I have too – to put a end to ice cold offices in the summer and ovens in the winter… bitch to me about energy and fossil fuels will you while government is the biggest consumer and abuser in any federal, state and local levels.

So Obama no more money for you – you’ve pissed away trillions like it flows from a tap and now you want more? No, I don’t think so – cut spending, reduce the size of government and cut waste and then and only then will we talk. I’m sick of you hypocritical people.

Oh and for you Governor Steve here in the great Commonwealth of Kentucky sell a few more of those aircraft – in February the Commonwealth sold two of it’s fifteen aircraft…. FIFTEEN! Looks like we have at least twelve to go, I’d say keep one for emergencies only.

Kentucky selling two planes

Kentucky currently owns 15 aircraft: seven airplanes and eight helicopters. Most of the aircraft are small planes that are used to fly the Governor, Cabinet Secretaries, University presidents and others on official government business. The cost depends on the trip and the plane used.

Ever hear of a car? Hell get a Hybrid if you really want to set an example.

While Kentucky has 15 aircraft, across the river in Indiana, the Hoosier state has eight aircraft, while West Virginia has only five. On the higher side, Virginia has 17, Ohio 24, and Tennessee 39.

If you read the story they try to spin it that it saves the state money, claiming it only cost $125 hour to operate the plane. Now I’m not a aviation expert but I have a cousin who is and I’m going to put a call in to him because I know that a helicopter requires two hours of ground maintenance for ever one hour of fly time, not sure on planes but I’m willing to bet $125 that it cost a hell of a lot more than that to fly a aircraft for an hour if you factor fuel, pilot, co-pilot, insurance, maintenance, hanger cost, wear and tear and fees…. $125.00 my ass! You know and I know it’s BS because it cost a lot more than the price of gas to drive a car… bunch of lyin’ ass bastards.

So after all of that the way I see it is that if Obama wants more “stimulus” on top of the already wasted “stimulus” then it must mean the first “stimulus” failed like so many said it would.. which would beg the question, why give him more to waste? It’s like enabling a junkie.

OK I’m done now…

Shut up, Michelle and get out of my kitchen

Eat your swill plebian

I have little use for Michelle Obama and even less use for anything this troll says – well once again this women and I use that term loosely with the over sized ass is on the obesity soapbox – Hey Michelle why don’t you drop a few blimp sizes and get back to me. However, there are those out there that think that having a backside that could eclipse the sun is something to admire. I’m not one of these people – but Michelle’s big ass or my personal flavor is not the topic of this post – so moving right along and getting to the crux of the matter.

First lady releases child obesity recommendations

The suggestions were among 70 recommendations in the panel’s report. First lady Michelle Obama released the findings Tuesday as part of her campaign against childhood obesity.

70 recommendation! 70! Damn I think that might be a few to many – I’m guessing about 70 too many, but that’s just me – you know someone that believes in personal responsibility.

One in 3 American children is overweight or obese, putting them at higher risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and other illnesses. Obesity is even more prevalent among black and Hispanic children. Some public health experts say today’s children are on track to live shorter lives than their parents.

Say’s who? By the Government height-weight BMI standards? Use this flawed appoach I’ve been overweight my entire life including my exercise daily Marine Corps days when you couldn’t find any fat on me. In fact if I was to get down to the governments recommended BMI I’d look emaciated. Then again I’ve always thought the BMI method was bogus as it assumes we’re all built alike and we’re not. The BMI method is bogus, it’s been bogus and it always will be -

More on BMI here… from NPR of all places
Top 10 Reasons Why The BMI Is Bogus

1. The person (Lambert Adolphe Jacques Quetelet) who dreamed up the BMI said explicitly that it could not and should not be used to indicate the level of fatness in an individual. — He produced the formula to give a quick and easy way to measure the degree of obesity of the general population to assist the government in allocating resources. In other words, it is a 200-year-old hack.

Now back to the original story…

Studies find that about 1 in 5 children becomes overweight or obese by age 6, and that more than half of obese children become overweight before the age of 2. Nearly 6 percent of infants younger than six months are overweight, the report says, up from 3.4 percent between 1980 and 2001.

Well tell me Mr or Ms Study how many children are born overweight? Hell you know so much – tell me that?

The report calls on restaurants to consider portion sizes and post more calorie information. Other recommendations include updated federal nutritional standards for meals served at school; more school-based nutrition education; incentives to attract supermarkets to underserved areas; and an effort to get pediatricians to make a habit of calculating their patients’ body mass index, a height-weight comparison used to measure fat.

Like I said the BMI method is bogus and it’s been bogus for 200 years – I know super fit people that fail the body mass index. But here’s the deal I’m grown, I’ve been grown and I will decide if I want salty fries or not – I’ll decide if I want dessert of hot peach cobbler with ice cream and if I do – guess what? (What Dave?) It’s my damn business and not the nanny state governments. And as far as my kids go and what they eat that’s none of the federal governments business either – my kids – I’ll raise them, buy their food with real money and I’ll decide what they eat and unless the government is going to come here and help cook the meal and wash the dishes then stay the hell out of my kitchen!!

Which brings me to my next and main point – if the government wants to tell people what to eat and how much to eat start with the lard asses on food stamps? I’m not talking body mass index fat, I’m talking fatty-fatty two by four fat – I’m talking getting your own zipcode fat . So anyway, I go to this small independent grocer in a poor section of town – it’s there or Wal-Mart and you know I don’t go there. At this store I’m one of the few customer that actually uses real money – the vast majority use food stamps and they are nearly all huge lard butts with a cart full of junk food, frozen pizzas, cokes, chips, candies and not a damn vegetable in sight. In fact I’d like to have half the stuff in their cart but since I have a job and work I can’t afford it. So it seems to me that if the tax payer are buying these fat asses food then we need to start with what they can buy – if the government must control what people eat then start with the leeches on food stamps. I’ve said it before only allow a very small balanced amount of food choices to be bought on food stamps and if they can eliminate obesity in the food stamp population then come talking me about what my skinny kid eats – but when I say eliminate it I mean every one – every single fat ass mooching off the tax payer must loose their extra weight and fall within the government bogus guidelines and if the government can’t do it there then they can’t do it anywhere – not that the government has ever failed. Right?

One final thought – ever see these morbidly obese shows on TV? Ever see one with a job? Hell, ever see one that can get out of their house? How are they getting and paying for their food? I bet it’s not from the millions in their trust fund. Nope one show I saw they bought there food on SSI and Food Stamps, but don’t worry they had Medicaid – sigh.

Government Motors lies to the Taxpayer

Have you seen the commercial of the CEO of GM claiming they paid back their loan, and they paid it back early? Have you seen it?

HE LIES! THEY LIE! THEY ALL LIE!

FIRST – GM shifted TARP money around to repay the bailout loan.
SECOND – The taxpayer still owns $43 Billion in GM stock.

GM Still Owes Us

The company got $50 billion from our government, and $10 billion more from Canada. They have paid the U.S. back $7 billion plus interest, as I understand it, including the latest payment of nearly $5 billion. So they say they paid us back.

Not quite: That still leaves $43 billion.

Grassley Slams GM, Administration Over Loans Repaid With Bailout Money

Sen. Chuck Grassley’s charge was backed up by the inspector general for the bailout — also known as the Trouble Asset Relief Program, or TARP. Watchdog Neil Barofsky told Fox News, as well as the Senate Finance Committee, that General Motors used bailout money to pay back the federal government.

Neil Cavuto Interview – GM loan repayment

Neil: Today’s announcement by general motors that it’s paid back its tarp loan in full, in full, is a huge accomplishment. Is it?

Barofsky: Well, it’s good news they’re paying back the loan. The one thing a lot of people overlook with this is where they got the money to pay the loan. It isn’t from earnings. They didn’t earn and extra 4 1/2 billion dollars, it’s another pool of tarp money. So there’s money in escrow.

Neil: Wait a minute, they paid off a credit line with another credit line?

Barofsky: Exactly. So.

Neil: Why are we bragging about that?

Barofsky: Well, it’s somewhat good. It’s good in that we…

Neil: You paid off one credit ..

Barofsky: Absolutely. They already have the money in the escrow account, so it loser the total they owe to the government, so that’s somewhat good news. But I don’t think we should exaggerate it. It’s just other tarp money.

Neil: All the bank rescues and everything else, virtually all the guys gave the money back, GM, despite the credit line shift, gave the money back.

Barofsky: They’ve not given the money back.

Neil: You’re right.

Barofsky: But I am saying if it was so onerous a year ago that they needed all this money, with no hope of surviving, they didn’t get all this money, and a year or so later they’re giving back the money, maybe all of us didn’t need to give them money. That’s a — that raises a issue for a final question but we were at the abyss when this happened and the tarp and other parts of the — that addressed the financial crisis, by those who were at the time thought the entire economy was headed off a cliff and this helped bring it back. It is good news a lot of the money’s coming back but we have more work today.

Neil: Neil Barofsky, thank you very much.

Barofsky: Thank you, neil.

So when you drive by you local GM dealership with there big “We paid off our loan!” sign out front – take a couple of minute pull in and ask them “Where did you get the money?” Because they damn sure didn’t earn it, they are taking money out of the left pocket the government (i.e taxpayer) put in it – to pay off the debt from the right pocket. It like so much with this government is nothing more than a shell game.

I’m going out of my way tomorrow to do it – it’s all propaganda and lies.

The utter genius of Pelosi

Did you here Pelosi speak at wherever she spoke?

Pelosi Remarks at the 2010 Legislative Conference for National Association of Counties

In the last quarter of the Bush Administration, what was reported in the first quarter of last year, America’s GDP, the rate of growth of GDP was a minus 6.4 percent.  Minus 6.4 percent.  In the equivalent quarter of the Obama Administration one year later, it is at plus 5.9 percent.  A swing of over 12 percent in the GDP.  This is the fastest rate that we have seen in a long time.

How about that unemployment Nancy? What were those rates… what excuse me you don’t know? Well let me help you out – in the last quarter of the Bush Administration is was about 6% and in the equivalent quarter of the Obama Administration one year later, it is at 10.4% a overall increase of 73.3% in total unemployment – so how is the hope and change again?

“And think of this – jobs.  In the first three months of 2009, but let me just state one month so that we can compare them.  In January of 2009, the last month of the Bush Administration before we passed the Recovery Act, 779,000 Americans lost their jobs.  779,000 for January of 2009.  This January 2010, 20,000 Americans lost their jobs—far too many, we want to move to the plus side of course—but a difference of over three quarters of a million people in just that one month.  Thank you, American Reinvestment and Recovery Act.

I think you missing the bigger point Nancy you’re still losing jobs- you pass a trillion dollar stimulus bill and you’re still losing jobs month after month you said it would keep unemployment at 8% it didn’t, what up with that? See Nancy, it’s like this if I took a pig and stabbed it in the neck the blood would shot out fast and hard then it would slow to a trickle as there was less and less blood to lose, kind of like jobs there are less and less jobs to lose – you never lose all the jobs just like you never lose all the blood but you are not replacing the ones you are losing and you not creating the jobs needed to cover the worker entering the workforce, which is about 100,000 a month. So until you’re producing about 200,000 job a month – don’t give me any lip service.

“You’ve heard about the controversies within the bill, the process about the bill, one or the other.  But I don’t know if you have heard that it is legislation for the future, not just about health care for America, but about a healthier America, where preventive care is not something that you have to pay a deductible for or out of pocket.  Prevention, prevention, prevention—it’s about diet, not diabetes. It’s going to be very, very exciting.

“Prevention, prevention, prevention—it’s about diet, ” So is this Democrat code to say what and how much I can eat, what I can eat and what is in my food and complete control of my diet? Is this a effort to further regulate  my food and food intake? Sorry guy we can’t treat you high blood pressure you have to much sodium in your diet – is that’s what is coming? Some how I don’t doubt it.

“But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy.”

I’m sorry what? We need to pass the bill to find out what’s in it? You’re kidding me right? Here is a idea why don’t we look under the hood before we buy the car – just a thought.

Health insurance reform is about jobs.  This legislation alone will create 4 million jobs, about 400,000 jobs very soon.

What government jobs? Where would be the jobs be? Where are you getting your numbers? They smell so I think you pulled them out of Obama’s ass. But get that healthcare is not about healthcare it’s about jobs – you know that thing they were going to focus like a laser on.

“We must have the courage, though, to get the job done. We have the ideas.  We have the commitment.  We have the dedication.  We know the urgency.  Now we have to have the courage to get the job done. So proud that President Obama is taking the message so forcefully to the American people! This is long overdue, a hundred years.

But you don’t have the vote – because you don’t have an agreement within the democrat party.

“With that in mind and with great enthusiasm and a sense of history that we have of this responsibility to ensure that health care in America is a right not a privilege;

Nancy could you point me to the passage in the constitution that says that? Can’t can you – didn’t think so.

This women is a utter idiot.
