Spend Grayson Spend… Lie Grayson Lie

Last day in the Kentucky primary and cost-cutting Trey Grayson trails ….

Maybe that’s because he is a liar!

http://www.treyspends.com/

Once again, Trey Grayson is lying to save his career as a politician. First, he was caught lying about Rand Paul, now he is lying about his own record. Trey has been touring the state talking about how he reduced the budget of the Secretary of State’s office by 15%. Sounds impressive–the only problem is, it’s just not true.

Trey requested significant budget increases every year he was in office. A whopping 36% increase in 2009 alone! He even fought a Republican Governor who tried to cut his budget. The only reason his actual expenditures went down was because the Kentucky Legislature forced him to take a lower budget. If he had had his way, his budget would have increased over a million dollars while he was in office!

Trey can’t be trusted to tell the truth about his opponent. He can’t be trusted to tell the truth about his record. Can you trust him to fight politics-as-usual in Washington? See Source Here, Here / Here , and Here

But having a Clinton supporter and former Democrat National Convention going registered Democrat lie is really nothing new is it?

Trey Grayson and the Entitlment Handout Campaign

Trey Grayson - Clinton delegate

Trey Grayson - Clinton Delegate

Trey Grayson is running against Rand Paul for KY Senate seat now I’ve met both these guys and Trey here in the closing stretch is running a DEMOCRAT campaign talk about Medicare, Social Security, Farm Subsidies and various other government handout programs and he is pushing that he is the “true conservative” – so let me ask you Charles Merwin “TreyGrayson III how can you be a conservative pushing handouts we can no longer afford? How? Social Security is broke – it’s out of money this year, Medicare and Medicaid is broke and has $37 TRILLION in unfunded liabilities – where will the money come from? Farm Subsidies? Only Mega farms are getting those, it’s not the Mom and Pop old McDonald farms getting these government subsidies – trust me I’m in farm country, I worked on farms, I grew up on a “Old McDonald Farm” I have farming in my blood and there was no government money there – now the mega farms got it and they still do and that’s the Corporate Farming Welfare.

Grayson is acting like the democrat he really is – trying to get elected on the fear of cuts in government handouts – well Trey we are going to have to cut handouts – we can no longer afford them and if you think I’m going to send a rubber stamp for the lifer politician Mitch McConnell you can forget it. Grayson is running as a spending cutting, budget cutting conservative while pushing government handouts. Grayson has ran one of the most negative mud slinging campaigns I’ve seen in Kentucky in awhile, Paul has taken the high road and stuck to the issues only confronting Grayson lies in debates – I’ve researched Charles Merwin Grayson III’s claims on Paul and it has been lie after lie from Grayson.

Rand Paul has not mentioned Grayson buys into global warming and Cap and Trade which would kill Kentucky’s oil, gas and coal industry nor Grayson association with the Aspen Institute as a 2005 Inaugural Class member or his appearance with Van Jones at a Global Warming Program at EKU with Focus the Nation. Rand Paul may not mention these things as Grayson runs his handout campaign – but I will. Grayson likes to point out he is a lifelong Kentuckian and Rand Paul isn’t – well Rand Paul has been a Kentuckian longer than Grayson has been a Republican – so what’s you point Trey? Paul isn’t a good ol boy groomed by the same old tired politicians that have gone to Washington and stayed to long? Is that your point?

Trey Grayson is a RINO and bad for business – he is bad for Kentucky – vote Rand Paul on May 18th and again on November 2nd.

Just so you know…  Trey Grayson has 5,726 Facebook friends while Rand Paul has only 32,562. (Not that, that means anything)

Oh and one thing for you nut jobs out there that are comparing him to Ron Paul his father – ask yourself this do you agree 100% with your father? I know I don’t that is a weak and pathetic argument.

I’m sick of the Propaganda – all Propaganda

Some days you just get pissed off at all the crap… today it’s propaganda, I’ve heard enough!

So if I don’t have GM telling me how they paid off their tax payer funded loan with tax payer funded money – then I have Toyota telling my they are spending a million dollars a hour, yes a million an hour – to improve safety they’ve ignored, isn’t hind sight wonderful? I just don’t want to hear it! You don’t use a loan to pay off a loan and then expect a pat on the head and if you cared about safety you wouldn’t have swept the problems under the carpet for years as Toyoda did. You made you bed now sleep in it.

Now we’ve got the Obama Circus running around talking about how they were on the oil spill in the Gulf from Day One – bullshit YOU LIE! You lie, your momma lies and you live lies and I don’t want to hear it. It took nine days for the government to react and then they’ve violated their own 1994 law to have fire booms in the Gulf. Oh but they were on the problem since Day One – my ass.

SPIN METER: There since Day One? Maybe not

Move forward a few days and the same group of idiots that are driving this country off a cliff are now trying to tell us (as they break their arms patting themselves on the back) how they thwarted another terrorist attack – these people haven’t thwarted anything – only luck and incompetent terrorist thwarted two of the attacks and two succeeded (Ft hood and Arkansas). Then Janet Imcompitano, the dubious Dumbass of the Year calls the attack an “one off” well WTF is that? Three attacks or attempted attacks in 6 months doesn’t seems like a “one off” to me – it seems to me these clowns don’t know what they’re doing and as I look back to that prior administration that Obama love to demonize so much, I can’t seem to come up with any success attacks on American soil after 9/11  – so stop spinning Obama like you know what you are doing – you are incompetent, face it.

Then Janet Imcompitano said on the border that it has never been more secure – excuse me what? I’ll bet money, big money I could go to the border right now and waltz back and forth across it, unfettered and unseen as much as I want and you call that secure? Would the murdered ranchers family call it secure? Would the shot policemen call it secure? Would Arizona call it secure? Hell would the average American call is secure?

This administration has lied about so many things it would be easier to make a list of what they’ve told the truth about since taking office – Obama is to the point to where if his lips are moving he lying, whining and praising himself from a position of delusions of grandeur. Oh and Obama one thought – stop trying to tell jokes and accept the fact that you are the joke.

I’m sick of propaganda on the economy, on jobs, on the stimulus, on the recovery – lies, lies and more lies! Look around Barry how is that hope and change work for YOU? For me it sucks! For most Americans it sucks – oh you still have idiots out there with their hands out thinking that they don’t have to worry about paying their mortgage or putting gas in their car, but slowly even their bubbles are bursting as you continue to fail and deliver on your lofty rhetoric.

Robert Gibbs the de fuhrer of propaganda is on a endless campaign of spin and condescension has he dutifully plants the seeds of talking points on a daily basis – he has become a bigger joke than Scott McClellan. McClellan was just incompetent while Gibbs lies with malice. Pick any White House presser and look at what he says and you will find something factually untrue – but I am sure he would blame Bush or Fox News for that.

Obama lies, Pelosi lies, Reid lies, Gibbs lies, Schumer lies, Axelrod lies and the list goes on and on and it’s not just words, just rants they’ve been busted time and time again lying but yet some sections of the country are moronic and continue to send these mountebanks back to Washington. But I’ll be fair there are members of the GOP that lie and need to go too – but I’ll get into those a little later.

Children all of them – pointing fingers, not me, your the bad guy whiners of the first degree. Hey Obama grow up and act a like a man instead of a little boy with Daddy issues.

And while I’m at it, I’m sick of the propaganda on TV commercials – quit trying to convince me your product is the best thing since sliced bread because if it was you wouldn’t have to give me a second one for free (just paid shipping and handling) it’s junk, you know it’s junk and it will end up in a close out store like Big Lots for a fifth the price within months. ShamWow my ass it’s ScamWow just like the bills passed in congress. But I digress again…

And you Liberals, you brain dead, living in your mommies basement, wearing underroos liberals – shut up with your love of diversity you lie – I don’t agree with you, therefore my opinion is diverse from yours and yet I’m the bad guy? You should love my diverse opinion, but you don’t? No you only love diversity if everyone agrees with you – where is the diversity in that? You’re hypocrites and liars like your leader and I no longer care to hear you parrot the talking points of the day from Beltway Bob – God I know I spend my fair share of time reading liberals blogs and repeaters and it’s like a broken records and I’m sick of it – get an original thought or get out of my face.

As for the folks of the Tea Parties being called racist – gawd that’s all you stinking Libs ever say – if you don’t agree with something you call it racist because you have no other argument – it’s pathetic! Try coming up with something new, something original, something true! You don’t like the Tea Party because unlike you liberals – the Tea Party members are honest, hard working, TAX PAYING American and not a bunch of racist bigots you’d hope them to be and still to this day the $100,000.00 bounty for the “n-word tape” has yet to be claimed – why not – it didn’t happen and you know it. But it didn’t stop you from lying about it did it? But lying and liberalism isn’t a very far walk is it?

If you think I’m going to let the Republicans off the hook forget it I’ve got words for some of them too -

And you latcher-on Republicans – you know who I’m talking about Newt, Mitch, Lindsey, Maverick et al – quit trying to ride the wave and grow a damn spine – all of the sudden the winds of change come sweeping down the plains from the heartland of America and you dipshits act like you’ve been there all a long? I don’t think so – you are a parasite, Ramoras, latcher-ons and you must be shed like a bad habit. Fake phoney “oh yeah I agree with that” RINO’s trying to play the roll they are ill fitted for – get your shit and get out and don’t let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.

All the phoney fake propagandist and I’m sick of it – I’d rather hear the truth I didn’t like than a lie I did.

One last point on a local Kentucky issue – Trey Grayson  – you lie – your mud slinging – name calling wall to wall propaganda commercials against Rand Paul are disgraceful and not becoming of a what we expect in a politician anymore – we’re tired of it, we had enough of it! Stick to the facts and tell the truth – For those not in the know, Grayson is running a commercial to scare senors about Medicare has Paul said he would not have voted for it – Medicare was passed by liberals in 1965, Rand Paul was 2 years old in 1965 (As was I) and claiming he doesn’t like senors because he doesn’t like a failed bill pass when he was 2 y/o is just a lie – a little fact – Medicare is broke and it’s has 37 TRILLION DOLLARS in unfunded liability, yet Grayson thinks this is a good thing and we should keep it? Grayson is also lying about Paul’s position on GITMO (which is still open) and twisting a speech on Social Security. There is more to the commercial but unless you live in Kentucky it doesn’t matter.

Even Dr. James Dobson changed his removed his endorsement of Trey Grayson because “top leadership republicans” lied to him about Rand Paul – read that as Mitch McConnell lied! Now Jim DeMint is supporting Paul – trust me, I’d trust Jim DeMint over Mitch McConnell any day of the week. Also Sarah Palin Support Rand Paul – it seems to me the only supports of Trey Grayson are the same old tired hats that have been doing the same thing for years – well that not “change I can believe in.”

So I’m sick of the propaganda, I’m sick of the lies and since I’ve become more politically informed researching things for myself and not taking others word for it I can say with 100% certainty that Trey Grayson is a liar and another “good ‘ol boy” doing the same-o, same-o.

There I feel better now…

Daniel Mongiardo milking the government cow

Taxpayer leech

Daniel Mongiardo and Jack Conway are running for Jim Bunning’s senate seat in Kentucky they are both on the Democrat ticket – but they are both running around the state promoting that that both took a 10% pay cut and feel that well lowly taxpayers must hoist them upon on shoulders and parade them though the streets, well not so fast – so let’s look at that.

Conway, Mongiardo both taking 10 percent salary pay cut

In 2008, Governor Steve Beshear announced that he, Mongiardo, and five other administration members would take a voluntary pay cut in 2009. The move was done to save the state $100,000.

With the pay cut in 2009, Mongiardo’s salary went from $101,598.60 to $91,437.12. His salary this year, with the cut, will drop from $108,720.50 to $98,836.62.

Conway’s salary last year was $105,836.44. It is $108,600.48 this year. With the 10 percent reduction, they will be $95,252.80 and $97,740.43, respectively.

So even though they took a pay cut they got a pay raise from the prior year? Hmm, how is that possible? Well it seems they both took a 10% pay cut but they still got a nearly 8% pay raise which far out paced inflation and out paced by miles and mile the raise that the average state worker received. Many state workers received a 1% or less pay raise, which fall far short of the national inflation rate. Additionally regular state workers are told to cut back, travel less and use a state car for work related travel – I wonder does Danial do that? Hmm…

Here is some of the skinny I’ve found on Mongiado. He is making $7399.50 more than he made last year even after his for appearances pay cut and this in addition to the $30,000.00 housing allowance he receives from the state (tax payers that is), but get this – Mongiardo listed his in-laws’ home as his official address on both his marriage license in June 2008 and his daughter’s birth certificate in December 2009. So it seems he is living with his in-laws and getting paid $30,000.00 a year from the folks of Kentucky that he is just pocketing – guess I too could afford a 10% pay cut if that was the deal. Furthermore, Mongiado also racks up mo’ money in travel-expenses he billed the state $33,000 for trips, including conferences and visits across the state. Additionally, it cost at least $23,600 more for state troopers assigned to Mongiardo’s security detail to go with him. Now my question is he out campaigning on he taxpayer’s dime? Or just milking the government cow for every dime he can get? Keep in mind the Commonwealth of Kentucky is facing record deficits under the misguiding hand of Democrat Governor Steve Beshear.

But it gets better…

Mongiardo’s expenses there included $48 steaks for him and his wife. The meal cost nearly $193.00! In addition, his two security guards, Bruce Kelley and John Napier, had dinner at the same restaurant, spending $147. EB Green’s menu lists steaks costing from $30 to $77.

Mongiardo lame ass excuse …

In addition to Mongiardo and his wife each having a $48 filet, Mongiardo ordered an $8.50 molten lava dessert. His wife had a $7.50 crème brûlée.

Crème brûlée is “my wife’s favorite. She is addicted to it,” Mongiardo said.

Asked whether such a meal is extravagant at taxpayers’ expense, he said, “Expensive? For New York?”

“That would be expensive in Lexington, KY. For New York, I’ve seen $10 baked potatoes,” he said. “I don’t know if that was expensive or not.”

Mongiardo was in Buffalo, NY – not New York City – there is a world of difference and 100′s of miles in those two cities. This is nothing but a spin, it’s weak, weak excuse he needs to answer for it. And he doesn’t know if that’s expensive or not – NEWSFLASH $200 for dinner is expensive, OK! And its unacceptable of the taxpayers dime! He could have hauled his elitist ass across the street to the Century Grill across the street from E.B. Green and had – 8 oz. strip steak, mashed potatoes, field green salad with balsamic dressing & a beer for $14.00 any day! So Mongiardo’s excuse of “it was NY” doesn’t hold water as he is trying to mislead the public into thinking it was New York City – a failed attempt at a spin. I have so info for you Daniel I’ve traveled outside of the state and I know what meals cost – so blow smoke up someone else’s ass, thanks.

You know what I say about Mongiardo’s New York excuse? I’ll leave it to the Italians and let Frank Caliendo impersonating Al Pacino tell Daniel Mongiardo what the dealio is-o.

YouTube Preview Image

Oh and by the way 54% of Mongiardo’s campaign PAC money comes from big labor and Jack Conway received 33% of his campaign PAC from big labor. For the record Rand Paul has not received one cent in PAC money from labor nor has the former democrat Trey Grayson received any labor PAC.

Well, I’m not going to go on and on harping on Prince Daniel and his living large on the taxpayers dime. I think it is safe to say he is a taxpayer-abusing liar.

Now Jack Conway he hasn’t been as abusive to the tax payer in term of perks and expenditures – but as I stated yesterday Conway an attorney, is a constitution idiot. The reality is neither Mongiardo or Conway pose much of a threat to the Republican candidates, but we shouldn’t get complacent and keep hamming these guys until they go away.

One closing thought on Mongiardo and he $30,000.00 housing perk … “Mongiardo campaign spokesman Kim Geveden defended the housing allowance, saying “there is nothing illegal, unethical or untoward” in receiving it.” You wanna bet Kim? I’ll take that argument any day, anyplace, anytime. The median income for a family of four in Kentucky is $32,591.00 and Mongiardo is pocketing nearly that much alone to set around in mommy in-law’s basement while wearing his Sponge Bob jammies – ok maybe he is not wearing Sponge Bob jammies but you get the idea. I just have no use for this kind of BS and that’s all it is – is BS!

Super liberal Daily KOS prefer Trey Grayson

Yes i know the vast number of readers are not from Kentucky and couldn’t give a rip about what’s going on here – but with that said keep in mind every member of congress is important to the outcome. Some listen the the voters (employers) and some do not. In my experience I’ve seen nothing out of Trey Grayson to tell me he is a listener.  So keep that in mind in your elections.

The following polls only cover the two front running from each party – Bill Johnson a Republican candidate is not included but with Johnson aligning himself with birther Alan Keyes I’m surprised he has lasted this long, nice guy Bill as I’ve said I just don’t know where he is at on that issue.

So…

Looking at the numbers the super progressive liberals at the Daily KOS prefers Trey Grayson according to their polls over Rand Paul or the Democrat candidate. Anybody that looks at the polls over at Real Clear Politics knows that the polling results from the Daily KOS always lean hard – real hard to the liberal Democrats every time. Remember this – the KOS even predicted Martha Coakley as the winner against Scott Brown in Mass. It is a rare event that the Daily KOS will ever have a Republican come out on top – that is unless that Republican is a closet lib like Trey Grayson.

Let’s look at the polls and you’ll see…

(FYI PPP is Public Policy Polling)

You’ll notice that in other pollster (Rasmussen and PPP) show that Rand Paul wins against the Democrat candidate however the Daily KOS has Paul loosing by a 4-5 point margin and in any polls that the Rassussen and PPP has Grayson winning against a Democrat candidate the KOS also has Grayson winning by a 4-6 point margin – conclusion Grayson has great political appeal amongst progressive liberals the demographic group the KOS targets – wonder why? Maybe it’s because the only difference between a liberal democrat and Trey Grayson is their party registration. For the record the KOS claims a balanced demographic however their consistently have polls they greatly favor democrats even when every other polls doesn’t so I have to question either their methodology or their honesty.

So in my thoughts any Daily KOS poll that favors Trey Grayson is reason enough to stay the hell away from him.

Why we need term limits

I was at a GOP forum this part Saturday and I asked the three Senatorial candidates a simple question. “Do you support a constitution amendment to limit the House to six, two year terms and the senate to two, six year terms?” (That’s 12 years each for the mathematically impaired.) I’ve posted about this before and in my opinion if term limits are good enough for the President then it’s good enough for congress, but I have more reasons I’ll get to in a minute.

Both Rand Paul and Bill Johnson answered – yes that they agreed with term limits and Rand Paul added he would support it even it it meant sending his father home.

Trey Grayson answered “No” he went on to asked “Would you send five term Mitch McConnell home after he has done so much for Kentucky?” In a word – yes… yes I would… I’d send him home in a New York skinny minute. These career politicians are out of touch with the working American, they live in a bubble and have no clue what it is to be governed by these elitist. The late Ted Kennedy (D-MA) spend 47 years in the Senate, Robert Byrd (D-WV) has been there 57 years and I’m suppose to believe these guys have a understanding of John and Jane Q. Public daily life? With members like Nancy Pelosi spending $100,000 on food and booze, they fly to Denmark aboard a taxpayer funded jet and stay in $2400 a night rooms they develop an elitist attitude that we work for them and they do not for us. The system has gotten turned on it’s head – away from what the founders wanted that we are to be a citizen government made up of working American that leave the work place to serve their country for a while and come home. We have gotten away from that and have a system where people began training to be a politician at a young age and that’s all they know and a great many of them has never held a private sector job – look no further than the White House.

Another problem with these career politicians is the difficultly of running against them,  these folks stay in office and build a network of support with political favors and amass a campaign war-chest that Joe citizen can’t compete with unless they are independently wealthy. Which leads us to the root of the problem, which is overwhelming number of millionaire politicians that do not understand the middle class, because they have never had to suffer from the actions of their congressional decisions. They lie, cheat and rig the system to favor them in a way the working class can not, they run out there and champion the poor, the downtrodden for votes that never pay taxes and turn around and they tax you to take care of them and then they add earmark after earmark to gain support from local officials for the next election and then tax you to pay for those… you poor saps like me in the middle class are getting screwed from both ends and not so much as a thank you for it.

So if we had term limits congress could start making decision that are best for the country and not there reelection bid, choices that they will have to live with in the future as the safety of riding the cash cow of the taxpayer would not last and then and only then would we start getting new and fresh ideas in Washington and people that will do what’s best for the country and not what’s best for their poll numbers and the next campaign cycle and that Trey Grayson is why term limits are important. Wise up!

Demand term limits of your elected representatives or vote them out.

Who is John David Dyche?

I’m a little late to this article as I sooner line a birdcage with the Louisville Courier Journal as to read it, but I sucked it up and read this trash just this once. So who is John David Dyche, who ask who is Rand Paul? Well Dyche is certainly no John Galt.

You may be asking: ‘Who is Rand Paul?’

‘Who is John Galt?” was the opening and oft-repeated question in Ayn Rand’s influential 1957 novel Atlas Shrugged. Kentuckians are asking, “Who is Rand Paul?” The Republican U. S. Senate candidate was not named after the author, but respects her work, which posits capitalist individualism as the ultimate morality.

Paul, 47, is the son of U.S. Rep. and former Libertarian Party presidential nominee Ron Paul. Born in Texas, he attended Duke Medical School and founded Kentucky Taxpayers United in 1994. Married and father of three, Paul practices ophthalmology in Bowling Green.

He is glib, a favorite of television talker Glenn Beck and the darling of Kentucky’s Tea Party movement. Paul has raised around $2 million in campaign cash, had a 19 percent lead over primary foe Trey Grayson in recent public polling and was beating both major Democrats, Jack Conway and Dan Mongiardo. On Monday, The Washington Post confirmed that Sarah Palin has endorsed Paul’s campaign.

Rand Paul is glib? Well that all depends on how you intend it – informal and relaxed, yes – superficial or shallow, no that would be your guy.

So who is John David Dyche?

“John David Dyche is a Louisville attorney who writes a political column on alternate Tuesdays in Community Forum. He is the author of “Republican Leader: A Political Biography of Senator Mitch McConnell.” His views are his own, not those of the law firm in which he practices.”

Oh his views is his own huh? Then I ask the question why would the Louisville Courier Journal refuse to run Rand Paul’s reply to this bombardment of open ended questions in his effort to answer the debate? That’s easy to answer (more…)

GOP Grassroots Forum Recap

Well I spent Saturday (Feb. 13th) at the McCracken County Republican Grassroots Group Forum where the three primary candidates spoke, made opening statements, took a few questions and made closing statement, but it was not begin before a little political excitement… well excitement might be a strong wrong however a older gentlemen running for senate named Gurley Martin age 86 (really no kidding) was a little put out I’m guessing he wasn’t part of the debate so he made a but of a fuss down at stage front but that soon ending. Martin also had a number of pirated Ray Stevens videos printed up on CD he was handing out. If I had to guesstimate the crowd there was about 600 or so there give or take, not bad considering Kentucky was playing ball.

Before I got into it I have state that I am supporting Rand Paul and so far I have no reason to switch that support, Bill Johnson would be a close second. So no secret agenda here I’ve publicly identified my support, so don’t be calling me a shill I’m not a liberal.

I’m not going to go through this thing blow by blow but I’m going to point out a few things that caught my ear. In the opening statement Paul came out swinging repeatedly calling Grayson a liar, I’m not sure this was the best tactic as Paul went first allowing Grayson to take the high road and ignore the charges and not respond. While it is a fact that Grayson has waged several lies against Paul (like this one) I heard several people make note of the out of the gate attacks against Grayson as harsh and not the best tactic. However, having researched Grayson charges against what is on record from Paul I can understand Paul’s frustration with Grayson. That’s not to excuse it, but to state I understand it and as the Angry White Guy I’d jump Grayson about it too. Paul has been attacked by the Louisville Courier Journal by John David Dyche, Rand responded and the Louisville Courier Journal refused to print his response, how’s that for unbiased coverage.
