Gibbs: We don’t get involved in local issues – unless we don’t like them.

Beltway Bob said at the presser today….

GIBBS:  I’ve been asked about this a couple times.  I think this is a — widely a matter for New York City and the local community to decide.

MALVEAUX:  The president takes the position on religious freedom, on tolerance, why wouldn’t the administration –

GIBBS:  Well, I think you’ve heard this administration and the last administration talk about the fact that we are not at war with a religion but with an idea that has corrupted a religion, but that having been said I’m not from here gonna get involved in local decision making.

Tell that crap to Arizona Gibblet’s – tell that’s to the 20 plus states suing the governments ass over ObamaCare – exactly what was the attack on 9/11 an attack against NYC or the USA? I’m going with the latter and the White House doesn’t want to get involved? When the Cambridge police acted stupidly they wanted to be involved, when Arizona took the illegal problem seriously they wanted to be involved, they want to be involved in your health care, the care you drive, the food you eat, the energy you use, the Obama administration has stuck it’s nose into a endless list of local and personal issues and now that it involves Muslims and Mosque this yellow cowardly White House doesn’t get involved?

They’ve stuck their nose into auto companies, banks, Wall Street, hospitals, drug companies, states business, states rights and yet they don’t get involved in local issues?

Spineless wonders all of them – what a bunch of wimps and the quicker they’re gone the better off we are.

To many people are missing the other stories in this Sherrod mess.

Was Shirley Sherrod fired to quickly? Looks that way, did I post that she should be, sure did. Is she without sin? NO! She accused Fox News and Glenn Beck of getting her fired – fact is NEITHER Fox News nor Glenn Beck ran the edited video before she resigned, in fact Beck only ran the unedited video saying she should have her job back the following day, so Shirley Sherrod is a liar and has thus far gone unchallenged and she refuses to appear on Fox opting for friendly left-wing networks.

(It’s worth noting that Sherrod told the all black NAACP meeting to get a government job because you can’t be fired – talk about irony.)

The bigger story that has been lost in this mess is the NAACP’s hypocritical reaction – they owned the original video but came out against her at first not checking their own facts by watching their own video – acting only on hearsay – much like they have done with the Tea Party. No facts, just hearsay and unsupported rumor. But the approving reaction of discrimination against a White farmer by the NAACP is the real story here coming on the tail of their unfounded resolution against the Tea Party for racism. That part of the story is getting lost in the mix… they accuse other of racism while they exhibit it.

The White House Propaganda Minister Robert Gibbs said…

Gibbs: Sherrod is owed an apology

“Decisions were made based on an incomplete set of facts,” Gibbs said. “Members of this administration, members of the media, members of different political factions … have all made determinations and judgments without a full set of facts.”

I’m willing to bet this isn’t the first one and I think the White House “acted stupidly” – it seems to me that Obama and his administration makes a lot of comments and decisions based on a incomplete set of facts – they also make a lot of grand claims based on incomplete set of facts… case in point that tout some imaginary number of jobs saved or created – well what is the number of job lost or destroyed by this administrations policies? What’s that number 5 million? 10 million? They claim healthcare is not a tax then argue in court the right of the government to levy taxes in healthcares defense, they make endless claims of some grandiose gesture while leaving out the true cost to the American tax payer, They claim on cut increases on 95% of the American people forget on 53% pay taxes and they’ve raised taxes on 100% of them. Their knee-jerk decision making process is evidence of their inability to govern effectively – but with every knee-jerk decision they make, fingers point in all directions accept the one it needs to – themselves.

Beltway Bob went on…

Gibbs said that “we live in a culture (in which) things whip around, people want fast responses, (and) we want to give fast responses.”

“One of the great lessons you take away from this is to ask all the questions first,” he added.

Would that be anything like the fast response in the Gulf? Or would it be closer to the first response to the troop request in Afghanistan? Perhaps the fast response to GOP request to go line by line over the healthcare bill – which he never did. From what I’ve seen Obama “fast responses” have resulted in record deficits, fail stimulus, government take overs and failed after failed policies. Perhaps they should slow down and get the all facts before making their fast responses, but even then as in the Gulf and Afghanistan they get it wrong. Pathetic.

With all the example that can be cited of this White house making quick uninformed decision based on hearsay and rumor – one has to wonder just how many poor decisions are being made based on hearsay and rumor that we DON’T know about? I’m guessing it’s like cockroaches for every one you see they’re are a 1000 you don’t see.

What we have hear (is a failure to communicate) is children running with scissors in the White House that do not seem to comprehend that passing the blame is not a option at the top – even the smallest successful business person knows that – if you are in charge the blame stops with you. What the White House is trying to do is convince you that with all the resources, all the power, all the intelligence, all the technology, all the access to information and a staff of 1000′s that is at the finger tip of the highest office in the land – they are making decisions based on grainy homemade videos on internet.

Don’t you feel a little safer now?

(I could go on but I have to go work to support the slackers.)

McChrystal to Resign? Maybe, Maybe not.

Breaking: General Stanley McChrystal tenders his resignation

A senior Capitol Hill source tells me that General Stanley McChrystal had tendered his resignation to President Barack Obama and that the White House is actively discussing a replacement who could be quickly confirmed by the Senate.

There are two kinds of General’s in the military; warriors and politicians – Grant, Eisenhower, Bradley, Powell, Pace were politicians. Other like Sherman, Pershing, Patton, MacArthur, Puller, Westmoreland and Schwarzkopf were warriors and warriors do whats best for the troops and to hell with their rank or political aspirations. The well being of the troops comes first.

The question is which kind of General is McChrystal? Part of me says he is a warrior, but spending all day today calling around apologizing to everyone says he is a politician – but my judgment is still out. Frankly, I think McChrystal is a warrior at heart and should resign command on principle that Obama is running the war poorly then unleash on Dopey and his inability to lead and conduct a war – and do it publicly. Would this be helpful for the country? Would this be becoming of a Officer? Will he do it? Likely not, but the damage Obama is doing is far worse than anything McChrystal could say publicly.

I understand the problem with this and the world stage – but somebody needs to take this big eared man-child down a few notches.

The deal is what Obama doesn’t understand is the effect it has on the troops if you undermine the there military leadership, I also get how it appears when a Commanding General or his staff publicly disrespects the President. However I seriously doubt from what I know and the troops I know that Obama has any respect amongst the ground level troops at all, maybe a few. Frankly out of all the troops and Marines I spoken to I can’t recall a single one that had any respect for Obama at all as they all feel they are on their own in the field with no support from the White House or Washington at all.

Think about it, there is a war going on in Afghanistan… how often do you hear about it? Is it in the papers? On the news? When was the last time you saw a report from the field? When was the last time you heard Obama mention it? Oh you’ll hear if there are a several deaths in the same day, but it’s reported in passing – how do you think the troops feel? Forgot is how they feel – Afghanistan is going to be our new forgotten war.

Remember Obama has met McChrystal once (to my knowledge) and it was for a photo op. The President of these United States is a pathetic disgraceful joke with a over blown sense of self importance.

Obama: McChrystal showed poor judgment but the mission is paramount
The McChrystal mess; Update: Gibbs says Obama hasn’t talked with the general (nothing new there!); WH questions maturity, judgment

A couple of thoughts about Mittens

In the wake of this past weekends CPAC the talk has already started about the 2012 GOP Presidential nominee – I think it’s a bit early – ok way to early but I’ll bite and post about perspective candidates from time to time. First up Mitt Romney who came in second in the straw poll after Ron Paul which I’m still not sure how that happen – not Romney coming in second but Paul coming in first. Ron is a great guy but first in the straw poll?

I’ll admit in 2008 I liked Romney I knew we needed a business guy as I and many others saw this financial mess barreling down the road, somehow the message was changed to national security and McCain got the nod – how Mr. Amnesty, Mr. No Waterboarding managed that is beyond me. Here today Romney is endorsing McCain for Senate? What can I say that Rush didn’t already say? Nothing…

El Rushbo said…

I like Mitt Romney, but I think he’s risking his career over a guy, endorsing McCain, who is so out of step with what’s going on right now. McCain’s always conservative when he’s running for reelection in Arizona. The tea parties have produced a wave of conservatism that have swept Republicans-in-name-only aside. I understand Palin endorsing McCain. She’s got no choice. Loyalty, plus if she doesn’t the media will cream her, “Oh, he’s good enough to be president but you won’t endorse him to be Senator?” And it’s understandable Romney would endorse Brown, but I don’t understand Romney endorsing McCain. I just don’t think it’s going to fly. These endorsements are unnecessary. What is there to gain by this? Look, it’s unfortunate, but people are weeding themselves out of the process all the while engaging in this kind of behavior. So in one sense it has a cleansing aspect to it.

Now on Romney I wasn’t 100% sold I was mainly looking at his business sense, but with release of his new book “No Apologies: The Case for American Greatness” and with his endorsement of McCain I’m not sure I can get on his band wagon until Read more…

Obama opposed recess appointments but he’ll use them

Obama Blames Staffing Problems on GOP, Threatens Recess Appointments

Dopey said…

“That’s not advise and consent. That’s delay and obstruct,” he said, warning that if the Senate “does not act to confirm these nominees, I will consider making several recess appointments during the upcoming recess.”

Obama is still blaming the republicans for obstruction even though he had nearly a year to appoint whom ever he wanted and the republicans could do squat… now with the supermajority busted he failed to get the appointment of super Union liberal lawyer Craig Becker which was also gained the objection of two democrats, but you don’t hear about that.

When Bush was president the democrats had harsh words for recess appointments.

“Sen. Ted Kennedy at the time said it was a devious maneuver to evade the constitutional requirements,” said Republican Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming.

During the Bush years Senate Majority leader Harry Reid would not allow senate recesses to deny these appointment having member come in every three days during what was to be recesses to stop them,  but now Reid under Obama takes a different tune…

Reid said…

“I have told the president enough is enough,” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said. “He has the right as president of the United States to do recess appointments.”

Obama criticizes Senate Republicans for delaying confirmation votes

President Obama criticized senators Wednesday for using a legislative tactic he once practiced himself,

He sure did…

In 2005, a year after his election to the Senate, Obama placed a hold on Susan Bodine to lead the Environmental Protection Agency office that oversees Superfund and emergency cleanup programs because the agency had missed a deadline on new regulations for lead paint exposure.

In September 2006, Obama and Sen. Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.) blocked Robert L. Wilkie’s nomination as a Defense Department assistant secretary over a long-delayed Pentagon report on Midwestern wind farms.

And Obama joined with other Democrats in October 2007 to block the nomination of Hans von Spakovsky to the Federal Election Commission. Von Spakovsky later withdrew; Wilkie and Bodine were eventually confirmed.

Hypocrites but it’s not surprising.

We don’t quit

Xxxx –

I just finished delivering my first State of the Union, and I wanted to send you a quick note.

We face big and difficult challenges. Change on the scale we seek does not come easily. But I will never accept second place for the United States of America.

That is why I called for a robust jobs bill without delay. It’s why I proposed a small businesses tax credit, new investments in infrastructure, and pushed for climate legislation to create a clean energy economy.

It’s why we’re taking on big banks, reforming Wall Street, revitalizing our education system, increasing transparency — and finishing the job on health insurance reform.

It’s why I need your help — because I am determined to fight to defend the middle class, and special interest lobbyists will go all out to fight us.

Help me show that the American people are ready to join this fight for the middle class — add your name to a letter to Congress today:

We have finished a difficult year. We have come through a difficult decade. But we don’t quit. I don’t quit.

Let’s seize this moment — to start anew, to carry the dream forward, and to strengthen our union once more.

White House reads the polls it doesn’t read or something like that…

I don’t know how many times I’ve seen Urkle Obama, Robert Gibbs, David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel get out in front of the cameras and claim they pay no attention to the polls, nope never look at’em not even a peek… especially when those polls do not favor them and here lately that would be most polls most of time. You’ll recall Beltway Bob Gibbs strange EKG analysis of the polls back in December.

Don’t Shoot the Pollster

Robert Gibbs on Dec. 8, when he dismissed Gallup’s daily tracking of President Obama’s job approval. It had hit a record low of 47%, and Mr. Gibbs called the results meaningless:

“If I was a heart patient and Gallup was my EKG I’d visit my doctor. If you look back I think five days ago there was an 11-point spread, now there’s a one-point spread. I’m sure a six-year-old with a crayon could do something not unlike that. I don’t put a lot of stake in; never have, in the EKG that is the daily Gallup trend. I don’t pay a lot of attention to meaninglessness.”

Well today when talking about healthcare Obama made the statement that he reads the polls… really he actually reads the polls that he pays no attention too? Hmm that’s odd, but that’s true he said it, but does he ever read the polls that shows the American people are against this government take over of health care that he is still pushing for? Seem to me that’s the President flipping the country a collective FU bird, thumbing his nose while saying, “I know what you want and I don’t care, because it is a bout me and what I want.”

Unions agree to compromise on ‘Cadillac tax’ for healthcare

“Believe me, I know how big a lift this is; I read the polls,” Obama said. But he reassured party lawmakers that the climate would shift once voters learned more about the bill’s impact.

Gee - if it was on C-SPAN like Urkle promised 8 or 9 times we wouldn’t be waiting to “learn about the bills impact” we would already know. But what do we pesky voters know we’re just the employer of his dumb ass. The impact is simple – it is going to cost us annoying taxpayers; the little people another $2 trillion we don’t have, it going to create rationing, it is going run good doctors out and it will reduce quality… there is your impact and if that is not true why are you hiding it? This is nothing more than another entitlement we don’t need and can not afford, it is another over reaching of the democrat party of lies… but what do we lowly ignorant unwashed masses know? Well we do know that November is not that far away and “Ted Kennedy’s Seat” as David Gergen calls it is leaning R.

So what do those polls that they pay or not pay attention to or read or not read say? Well 55% of the plebeians (that’s you and me) are against it and 40% have their grubby little paws out.

Health Care Reform

17% Expect Health Care Plan To Lower Costs, 57% Expect Costs to Go Up

Now, I have a few really simple questions, call them silly questions but I’ll bravely ask anyway…

If we are going to love this plan as Obama and his democrat’s buddy’s claim, why are they hiding it?

If this plan is so wonderful why do they have to buy votes from member of congress?

If this plan is the cat’s pajamas then why do they have to cut backroom deals with labor unions, drug companies and special interest?
Unions will dodge O’s health tax

Why is it that the one group most responsible for the out of control health care cost is never addressed? And who is that group… well Trial Lawyers that is who.

Where is the transparency we were promised again and again?

And just so you know Joe “Plugs” Biden held a “Transparency” meeting yesterday… it was closed to the press.

VP Biden’s Non-Transparent Transparency Meeting

“Biden schedule highlight is a meeting with the chief of transparency for economic recovery. But, unfortunately, the transparency meeting is non-transparent — closed to the press — Which makes it — what? — Secret openness? Open secrecy?”

Here is the deal… this bill sucks hind tit, they know it sucks hind tit, which is why they don’t want to tell you about it. It does far more and nothing that the conservative want as they have been completely shut out of the process and it does nothing and far to little of what the loony left wants – so nobody is going to be happy…. well nobody except the Kool-aid drinkers in the Party of Lies.

Obama and his minions don’t care what you think; they don’t even care what their base thinks! All they want to do is build a monument to “The One” they don’t care how many of them go down in flames to get it and I believe Obama doesn’t care if he looses the 2012 presidential election (fingers crossed he does looses) as long as he gets his monument to himself. I know this type of person… he is driven by his own desires and not the logic of reality, it doesn’t matter what it cost he wants what he wants and the hell with you. It’s all about him and nothing about you! It is a very dangerous personality type and it has no business being in the White House.

This healthcare bill is not the only thing bad for this country Obama is too. If he keeps it up he is going to create a revolt in this country, what kind I do not know. Personally I’m in favor of a non-violent tax revolt and cut off their purse strings until some more responsible minds are in place.

Harry Reid says Obama is a Negro on Demand

Let me say this first… anyone notice that it took Obama less time to come out and “forgive” Harry Reid than it did to make a statement about the diaper-bomber on Christmas Day? Just sayin’… (That means the Party of Lies know this did damage to their minority credibility.)

Anywho… no doubt you have heard all the brouhaha over Harry Reid statement that Obama is a “light skinned” black man that only speaks “Negro” when he wants to… well for once Reid is correct. But I wonder what does Reid think about dark-skinned black men that speak “Negro”… frankly I never knew “Negro” was a dialect. I can only guess Reid meant street, hood, ghetto, Ebonics etc…

Harry Reid apologizes for ‘no Negro dialect’ remark about Obama

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid apologized Saturday for private remarks quoted in an upcoming book in which he promoted then-presidential candidate Barack Obama’s racial appeal as a “light-skinned” African-American. Reid was convinced Obama’s race would help him in the 2008 campaign for president, believing the country was ready for a black president and noting that Obama speaks “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one,” according to reports of the book “Game Change,” by journalists John Heilemann and Mark Halperin.

Harry you final said something based in reality… if you have suffered through listening to Obama’s speeches you have likely noticed that he has one style when speaking to predominately white crowds and another when he is speaking to predominately black crowds, yet he has the “look at me I am so cute” style on the campaign trail in addition I am a serious leader style. Each is contrived, faked and about as deep as a parking lot puddle and those of us out here in the real world call that pandering on a grand scale.

If you listen to some of his “no drama Obama” style speeches he comes across as ‘detached’ which I think is closer to who he really is inside, then he has “I too am from the street” — drop the G’s and R’s Mister Hipster style most notable at the Congressional Black Caucus and NAACP event.

The following clip from the Glenn Back Show, but note Obama dropping his G’s and R’s and his rather urban cadence, I guess this is his Negro speak….

YouTube Preview Image

Now here is Obama finally making his speech about the terrorist attack Christmas Day, doesn’t even sound like the same guy…

YouTube Preview Image

So I guess for the first time in his political career Harry Reid is was right – I’m not even going to get into the hypocrisy of the democrats whining about Trent Lott until he was ran out of town while giving Reid a total pass and the hypocrisy of the Justice Brothers Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson giving Reid a total pass… you can bet your ass his a Republican said it these hypocritical racist bastards would be marching on Washington until heads rolled. I’m sick of these pandering two faced lying sacks of excrement picking and choosing just what they are going to be indignant about based on race and/or party affiliation, either have a real conviction or shut the hell up!

Urkle’s remarks on Flight 253 with my commentary

Barack Urkle Obama

NOTE: The other day I spelled ‘Urkle’ as ‘Erkle’… I have seen it both ways and since I never watched the show I was unsure… it seems that it’s Urkle. So sorry President Urkle I didn’t mean to misspell your name.

Before I start a few of points to be found here…

1.) Obama made note of Iran’s violence on “solemn occasions and holy days” however he only referenced CHRISTmas only as a holiday in the wake of the latest terrorist attack.
2.) He is now running damage control with another speech on 12/29 after the speech below as a result of his failed policy and his inept appointments (namely Napolitano and Holder along with many others)
3.)  He wore out the word “allegedly” instead of facing reality that this guy is an Islamic Terrorist of which he never uttered once.

Now for a few snide remarks,

Here is Urkle’s speech with a few comments… the man is making George Bush look like a genius more and more everyday.

Good morning, everybody. I wanted to take just a few minutes to update the American people on the attempted terrorist attack that occurred on Christmas Day and the steps we’re taking to ensure the safety and security of the country. The investigation’s ongoing. And I spoke again this morning with Attorney General Eric Holder, the secretary of homeland security, Janet Napolitano, and my counterterrorism and homeland security adviser, John Brennan. I asked them to keep — continue monitoring the situation to keep the American people and members of Congress informed.

Did he say the “T” word… is that legal? And to top that off he spoke to Tweedle Dee Holder and Tweedle Dumb Napolitano and we’re suppose to be impressed, how’s that Janet Incompitano working out for you Ears? “It was a success…no wait, it was a failure”… oops… were these terrorist right-wing extremist or veterans? Thought we forgot about that didn’t you? Talk about somebody screaming to be fired, dammit Janet quit while you have a shred of dignity left.

Here’s what we know so far: On Christmas Day, Northwest Airlines Flight 253 was en route from Amsterdam, Netherlands, to Detroit. As the plane made its final approach to Detroit Metropolitan Airport, a passenger allegedly tried to ignite an explosive device on his body, setting off a fire.

Allegedly? Allegedly?? This terrorist did it you pinhead and there was witnesses and website posting about it and you say “allegedly” what are you a president or a defense attorney for the accused? And on Christmas Day… how about “On Christmas Day the holiest of days in the Christian calendar” how about we call it what it is a terrorist attack on the Holiest day in the Christian calendar… remember this when Urkle makes his remarks later in the dribble on Iran.

Thanks to the quick and heroic actions of passengers and crew, the suspect was immediately subdued, the fire was put out, and the plane landed safely. The suspect is now in custody and has been charged with attempting to destroy an aircraft.

Thanks to the failure of airport security he got on the plane without a passport, without luggage on a 2 week trip and he paid cash for his ticket… he did everything but wear a sign that said “I’m a terrorist.” and you charged him with “attempting to destroy a aircraft”… is that a real charge? I think that’s made up. Here’s an idea how about charging him with nearly 300 counts of attempted murder?

A full investigation has been launched into this attempted act of terrorism, and we will not rest until we find all who were involved and hold them accountable.

Then what is your ass doing on vacation resting for then? And why don’t you ask the question why the U.S. approved the passenger list?
US Approved Flight 253 Passenger List, Source Says

Now, this was a serious reminder of the dangers that we face and the nature of those who threaten our homeland. Had the suspect succeeded in bringing down that plane, it could have killed nearly 300 passengers and crew, innocent civilians preparing to celebrate the holidays with their families and friends.

Thank you Captain Obvious did you figure that one out all by yourself Sherlock?

The American people should be assured that we are doing everything in our power to keep you and your family safe and secure during this busy holiday season.

And any American with any sense at all doesn’t buy that for a second.

Since I was first notified of this incident, I’ve ordered the following actions to be taken to protect the American people and to secure air travel.

First noticed? Was that what 3 days after it happened? You staff woke you up in the middle of the night to tell you about the undeserved Nobel Peace Prize and then they waited 3 hours to tell you about the attack… yeah I feel really safe now with so many buffoons at the wheel.

First, I directed that we take immediate steps to ensure the safety of the traveling public. We made sure that all flights still in the air were secure and could land safely. We immediately enhanced screening and security procedures for all flights, domestic and international. We added federal air marshals to flights entering and leaving the United States. And we’re working closely in this country, federal, state and local law enforcement, with our international partners.

Let not forget your DHS decided to not allow books, magazine, laptops or blanket in their lap a hour before the flight lands in addition to banning bathroom visits within the same time frame… which means a terrorist will just go the bathroom a little earlier to arm a explosive. Genius! Look Out!!!! He’s got a blanket!! Oh thank God I thought it might have been explosive panties.

Second, I’ve ordered two important reviews, because it’s absolutely critical that we learn from this incident and take the necessary measures to prevent future acts of terrorism.

You haven’t learned anything yet, why start now?

The first review involves our watch list system, which our government has had in place for many years to identify known and suspected terrorists so that we can prevent their entry into the United States. Apparently the suspect in the Christmas incident was in this system, but not on a watch list, such as the so-called no-fly list. So I have ordered a thorough review, not only of how information related to the subject was handled, but also of the overall watch list system and how it can be strengthened.

He was on a watch list and this is a veiled attempt to blame Bush… you’re the President so the question is why didn’t you do something yourself? By accepting the list as-is is to say you have no problems with the list as it was, so stop passing blame and from what I understand to get on the do-not fly list you just about have to show up at the airport with an exposed dynamite necklace.
UPDATE: Seem the Obama government knew about this threat and did nothing.

The second review will examine all screening policies, technologies and procedures related to air travel. We need to determine just how the suspect was able to bring dangerous explosives aboard an aircraft and what additional steps we can take to thwart future attacks.

Why don’t you talk to your buddies at the ACLU and their invasion of privacy lawsuits on full body screens?

Third, I’ve directed my national security team to keep up the pressure on those who would attack our country. We do not yet have all the answers about this latest attempt, but those who would slaughter innocent men, women and children must know that the United States will more — do more than simply strengthen our defenses. We will continue to use every element of our national power to disrupt, to dismantle and defeat the violent extremists who threaten us, whether they are from Afghanistan or Pakistan, Yemen or Somalia, or anywhere where they are plotting attacks against the U.S. homeland.

Third? You said two reviews now this is three… learn to count dumbass. And as far as keeping up the pressure… please send all the requested troops needed to where ever they are needed and take the damn gloves off. And do you think anyone actually believes that? You are a weak indecisive surrender monkey who is in why over your head. Here’s a tactic they kill or attempt to kill just one of ours we kill 100 of there’s… that’s a Chicago way. Man – grow a spine.

Finally, the American people should remain vigilant, but also be confident. Those plotting against us seek not only to undermine our security, but also the open society and the values that we cherish as Americans. This incident, like several that have preceded it, demonstrates that an alert and courageous citizenry are far more resilient than an isolated extremist.

Isolated extremist? Please you pandering Islam sympathist ass wipe. He is an Al Qaeda terrorist list on Al Qaeda websites, claimed by Al Qeada and you call it “isolated” … pathetic you pandering ****!

As a nation, we will do everything in our power to protect our country. As Americans, we will never give in to fear or division. We will be guided by our hopes, our unity, and our deeply held values. That’s who we are as Americans; that’s what our brave men and women in uniform are standing up for as they spend the holidays in harm’s way. And we will continue to do everything that we can to keep America safe in the new year and beyond.

Everything in our power huh? How are those boarders looking for you?

Before I leave, let me also briefly address the events that have taken place over the last few days in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The United States joins with the international community in strongly condemning the violent and unjust suppression of innocent Iranian citizens, which has apparently resulted in detentions, injuries, and even death.

Oh finally used the word ISLAMIC… still haven’t heard the word MUSLIM which he was and now you only use it as a nation name… and telling Iran you “strongly condemn” … please do you really believe Iran gives a rat’s ass what you think? Obama you are as a big of a joke in Iran as you are here, really you should go on tour again.

For months, the Iranian people have sought nothing more than to exercise their universal rights. Each time they have done so, they have been met with the iron fist of brutality, even on solemn occasions and holy days. And each time that has happened, the world has watched with deep admiration for the courage and the conviction of the Iranian people who are part of Iran’s great and enduring civilization.

“Great and enduring civilization” since 1935 before that it was Persia you so-called college professor… I’d give it little more time before I called it “enduring.” And recall I ask you to remember the Christmas Day comment… Urkle said “even on solemn occasions and holy days” in regards to Islam but Christmas is just a holiday… you know kind of like Labor Day that holiest day of the year for Unions.

What’s taking place within Iran is not about the United States or any other country. It’s about the Iranian people and their aspirations for justice and a better life for themselves. And the decision of Iran’s leaders to govern through fear and tyranny will not succeed in making those aspirations go away.

Again with the Captain Obvious garbage… do you point out the obvious just to hear yourself talk? I believe you do. (Side note: Listen to Obama speeches sometimes and you’ll see he does this all the time. He will make some ‘no shit Sherlock’ statements just to drag out his ad nauseam speeches with often sound like he is talking to 3rd graders which I believe he thinks we are… the great unwashed.)

As I said in Oslo, it’s telling when governments fear the aspirations of their own people more than the power of any other nation. Along with all free nations, the United States stands with those who seek their universal rights. We call upon the Iranian government to abide by the international obligations that it has to respect the rights of its own people.

Oh kind of like your administration fears the tea partiers? And as far as your calls to Iran go, they are laughing at you… you’re a joke to them as you are to us.

We call for the immediate release of all who have been unjustly detained within Iran. We will continue to bear witness to the extraordinary events that are taking place there. And I’m confident that history will be on the side of those who seek justice.

I agree ‘history will be on the side of those who seek justice’ it will be served in Nov 2010 and 2012 and you; Urkle will be history.

Thank you very much, everybody. And happy new year.

I’m sure that in November it will be very, very happy year.
