WTF?!! Environmental Justice?

The EPA killing your job so the Unions won’t have too…

(Judicial Watch) — The federal agency that’s spending a fortune to bring “environmental justice” to poor and minority communities around the U.S. has just dropped an additional $6.2 million to train low-income residents for “green jobs” in one city alone.

It’s all part of the Obama Administration’s costly crusade to help underserved populations obtain the same degree of protection from health and environmental hazards as their wealthy counterparts. Here’s how it works; the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) gives money to leftwing groups—including some dedicated to helping illegal immigrants—that teach black, Latino and indigenous folks how to recycle, reduce carbon emissions through “weatherization” and participate in “green jobs” training.

In the last few months alone the EPA has doled out nearly $10 million for environmental justice causes that include a multi million-dollar study on how pollution, stress and social factors affect “poor and underserved communities.” A New Jersey nonprofit (Lazos America Unida) that advocates on behalf of the “Mexican immigrant community” and a Missouri farm workers’ group that will increase awareness about the dangers of sun and heat exposure in migrant populations were among the recipients of that grant.

As if this weren’t bad enough, the EPA keeps wasting taxpayer dollars on these dubious causes. The latest allocation of $6.2 million will go to 21 “community groups” that will “recruit, train and place unemployed, predominately low-income residents in polluted areas” in Atlanta. Uncle Sam’s investment will “create good, green jobs that protect the health of local families and residents and prepare communities for continued economic growth,” according to Obama’s EPA chief, Lisa Jackson.

So I guess if we cut this spending we not only hate the poor, but we’re racist too? Is there no end to the waste?

I found the pork now here’s the beef…

I know a lot of the folks that read here could care less about what’s going on with lowly district of KY01 Rep. Ed Whitfield, but this is what my congressmen is saying and by doing so you might want to take a look at yours too.

Ed Whitfield who just a few months ago sent me a letter about the need for fiscal responsibility in Washington….

Whitfield Calls for Return of Fiscal Responsibility to Government

“During these tough economic times, Kentuckians have been forced to tighten their belts and cut back on spending to make ends meet,” Whitfield said. “The federal government should be required to do the same thing. It is essential Congress curb its runaway spending habits before our national debt becomes an insurmountable burden for future generations.”

Blah-blah-blah Ed… so tell me if we need to be fiscal responsible then why are you porking up the spending bill?

Now before I go on my rant I want to say I called the congressman’s Washington office about this and they seemed more interested in getting me off the phone than answering questions so I called the Paducah office and no one answered then I called the Hopkinsville office and spoke to the congressman assistant … we spoke for about 1:30 or so on a range of political topics. So I will include some of his commits regarding some of my pork complaints… he was very nice and answered most of my questions or directed me to where I could find the answers.

Whitfield’s Fiscal Year 2010 Requests

Here are a few…

Monroe County Farmer’s Market

Monroe County Fiscal Court
1194 Columbia Avenue
Tompkinsville, KY 42167
$500,000
These funds will be used to construct a new market facility that will promote economic development and provide added benefits to the local community.

A half million dollars for a farmers market in a town of a population of 2609 as of July 2008? They need a $500,000.00 farmers market? Now I live in a rural community and the local farmers market is nothing more than farmers with their pickup facing tailgate to tailgate and my rinky-dinky little town is 5 time the size of Tompkinsville!

Congressmen’s office really didn’t have good answer for this one.

Let’s look at some more…

Senior Citizens Housing Project

Hickman County Fiscal Court
110 East Clay Street
Clinton, KY 42031
$1,250,000
These funds will be used to construct a two-story, eight unit senior housing complex. This construction will aid the City of Clinton and Hickman County as they work to revitalize the downtown area to facilitate economic development and community well being.

WTF? Ok I know what you’re thinking “Dave you just don’t like old people.” WRONG! One building with 8 units for $1.25 million bucks! That’s $156,250.00 per unit… do you know what a house cost in Hickman population 2239? You can buy houses all day long for $25,000.00 in Hickman and might I point out that the only way to get to Hickman, KY is to be going there. You just don’t stumble upon Hickman. You what this is? It’s about political payout by the country judge executive David Gallagher who made the request… I have no proof of that its political payout I just know how small town politics work.

Oh there is more…

Installation Chapel and Multi-Purpose Facility

Fort Campbell
39 Normandy Avenue
Fort Campbell, KY 42223
$14,000,000
These funds will be used to construct a 1,200-seat chapel/family life multi-purpose facility to serve the soldiers and family members at Fort Campbell.

$14,000,000.00 for a church? I thought we had a separation of church and state in this country? Since when is it the government job to build churches? I have no problems with churches at all, I even go on occasion but I’ve never been in a $14,000,000 church and to top that off Fort Campbell already has a church. And as a constitutionalists I believe if you are going to have a separation of church and state then do it… nothing say that other church or groups of churches can’t fund the building of a multi-denominational church as most military services are multi-religion and multi-denominational and all the taxpayer has to do is pony up a little space. Remember a building isn’t a church

Then we have…

Fort Campbell
39 Normandy Avenue
Fort Campbell, KY 42223
$14,400,000
These funds will be used to construct an Army Standard Physical Fitness Center to serve soldiers and family members at Fort Campbell. The existing facility is inadequate and fails to meet Army requirements.

What the hell are the putting in a Gold’s Gym franchise? Which by the way you can get for $550,000 – $3,635,000.

Now the Congressman’s office said COULD be use for rehabilitation of returning wounded vets, that’s all fine the noble but that’s not what the request says and it doesn’t change the fact I could build 4 high end Gold’s Gyms for the same amount of money and they’re only building one.

Clean-up Activities at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant

Department of Energy
1000 Independence Ave SW
Washington, DC 20585
$144,729,000
These funds will be used to accelerate the removal of over 50 years of legacy waste and environmental contamination stemming from the production of enriched uranium.

This plant is ran by USEC a heavily unionized publicly traded company (NYSE: USU) which begs the question why do taxpayers need to pay to clean up there mess? I’ll admit I don’t know the entire story on this, but I do know that taxpayers are flipping the cleanup bill.

One more…

Lake Cumberland Community Action Bus Radio Project

Lake Cumberland Community Action Agency
23 Industry Drive
Jamestown, KY 42629
$70,000
These funds will be used to install emergency radios in buses that transport senior citizens to and from their medical appointments in an area that is currently undergoing a Dam safety rehabilitation project, which increases the need for emergency communications.

Even a cell phone without a contract can dial 911 and we’re spending $70,000.00 fro radios? How many damn buses do they have it’s not a populous area.

If the congressmen, his staff or those making these pork requests want to clear these up… you know how to contact me. And for the record I didn’t list them all, additionally I pointed out to the Congressman’s office that you can’t bitch about government spending if you are part of the problem… as I used the example there are things you MUST do to maintain your house, however many of the things you may WANT to do is not the things you NEED to do. There is a big difference between repairing the water line (a need to do) and painting the guest bedroom (a want to do).

You have to LEAD BY EXAMPLE and you can’t waste your time whining about not getting your fair share Ed!

I’ve talk about the stimulus spending in the Jackson Purchase, which is only a small section of the Kentucky Congressional District 1

December 12, 2009

$14,000,000,000,000.00 in the hole… and congress just spends and spends.

pelosi_rangel_laughing09022The DEMOCRAT are wanting to attach an amendment to the Afghanistan war funding (Defense Spending Bill) in a unscrupulous move to raise the debt limit again for the second time this year. Now granted the debt isn’t $14 TRILLION yet it’s only $12.1 TRILLION the democrats want to raise the limit by $1.8 to $1.9 TRILLION and knowing the Democrats the way we do know that they are like junkies and if they have access to it they are going to use it.

Dems propose $1.8 TRILLION debt ceiling increase
Congress Stuffs Its Own Stocking

The plan is to attach the debt ceiling provision to a military spending bill and vote on it next week. The cynical goal is to accuse those who vote “no” of being against the military. It’s likely that more billions in earmarks will be included as sweeteners to attract votes.

Now they pasted a huge omnibus pork filled bill and here are a few items from it…
Another Year, Another Pork-Stuffed Omnibus Spending Bill

First, while most people have focused on health care and cap-and-trade, discretionary spending has leaped by 25 percent since the Democrats took the Congressional majority three years ago — plus $311 billion in additional “stimulus” discretionary spending. This comes to $561 billion more in discretionary spending over these three years than if they had limited growth to the baseline inflation rate. Worse, this new spending has pushed the 20112020 discretionary spending baseline $1.7 trillion higher than three years ago. We’ll be paying this bill for decades.

Second, remember President Obama’s pledge to “slash earmarks to no greater than 1994 levels” of 1,318? He followed up that promise by signing a pork-laden omnibus bill in February, and then promising once again to cut pork next time. House Democrats made similar pledges. Well, this bill contains 5,224 earmarks, bringing the year’s total to 8,939, and with a remaining defense bill that will likely push the total past 10,000 (this year’s whoppers includes $750,000 for the World Food Prize in Des Moines). In other words: promises made, promises brazenly broken. After blasting the GOP majority for exceeding 10,000 earmarks twice in twelve years, the Democratic majority will have exceeded 10,000 in each of its first three years. And President Obama — who recently said, “If my administration evaluates an earmark and determines that it has no legitimate public purpose, then we will seek to eliminate it” — hasn’t publicly criticized a single earmark.

Let me start with my own congressman Ed “Rino” Whitfield (R-KY) he will be hearing from me…

  • $250,000 by Rep. Ed Whitfield (R-Ky.) for construction of the Monroe County Farmer’s Market
  • $1,000,000 by Senate appropriator Judd Gregg (R-N.H.) for repairs, restoration, and modernization of a theatre and construction of an additional space at the Portsmouth Music Hall
  • $400,000 by House appropriator Maurice Hinchey (D-N.Y.) for restoration and renovation of the historic Ritz Theatre in Newburgh, N.Y
  • $400,000 by Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-N.Y.) for construction and renovation for safety improvements at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden
  • $350,000 by House appropriator Chaka Fattah (D-Pa.) and Rep. Robert Brady (D-Pa.) for renovation of the Uptown Theatre in Philadelphia
  • $250,000 by Rep. Michael Turner (R-Ohio) for building renovation of the Murphy Theatre, in Wilmington
  • $194,000 by Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) for completion of the historic restoration project at the Historic Slater Mill in Pawtucket
  • $150,000 by House appropriator Jose Serrano (D-N.Y.) for Safe Harbors of the Hudson, Inc., for renovation and build out of the Pregones Theatre, in the Bronx
  • $100,000 by House appropriator Ken Calvert (R-Calif.) for construction on the Santa Ana River Trail
  • $800,000 for jazz at New York’s Lincoln Center, for Rep. Jerold Nadler, D-N.Y
  • 750,000 for exhibits at the World Food Prize Hall Sen. Tom Harkin, (D-Iowa.) and Rep. Leonard Boswell, (D-Iowa)
  • $3,400,000 for a rural bus program Dan Inoye and Daniel Akaka (D-HI)
  • $800,000 for the Monterey Bay Sanctuary Scenic Trail Rep. Sam Farr (D-Ca)
  • $200,000 provided for the Aquatic Adventures Science Education Foundation Rep. Susan A. Davis (D-CA)
  • Want more?

    * Senator Tom Harkin of Iowa appears to have secured lots of pork for the Hawkeye state. The largest earmark is $7.3 million for the “Harkin Grant” program which subsidizes school construction and modernization.
    * The Utah-based “I Won’t Cheat” Foundation for anti-steroids education receives $250,000.
    * South Salt Lake City, Utah receives $100,000 to expand ESL classes at the Villa Franche apartment complex.
    * The Rodel Foundation of Delaware gets $150,000 for its Parent Leadership Institute.
    * A dropout prevention program in Scottsdale, Arizona gets $150,000.
    * College football fans will notice that there is even some BCS-pork in the Omnibus. Fans at Boise State and the University of Iowa can celebrate * * $465,000 in education earmarks at their bowl games this year!

and then we have Puppet Shows being paid with stimulus money…
Puppet Show Caught in Stimulus Spending Spat

And this is just the tiniest tip of the iceberg of the abuse in congress… and it’s not just Democrats, Republicans are just as guilty and I know mine will be getting a call.

    Cash for Clunkers Flunked Out.

    504x_Cash-For-Clunker-Car-Disabling_2

A Volvo S80 Twin Turbo being toaster, this is a clunker?

Well, well, well I haven’t said a tremendous amount about this joke of a program Cash for Clunkers it’s mere existences is comedy enough. The Cash for Clunkers, which I think is just another government bailout and a waste of our money was originally funded with $1 billion and went broke in 4 days. So they inject another $2 billion into it and now they decided that do to the back log of claims they are going to shut it down 2 months early. The idea was to take “clunkers” off the road and replace them with shiny new clunkers made from tinfoil, plastic, two gerbils and a piece of cheese. But here is the deal the people out there driving the REAL CLUNKERS couldn’t afford to buy a new car even with the $3500 or $4500.00 the taxpayer kicks in, so those real clunkers stay on the road and the perfectly serviceable clunkers get ground up into scrap, sold to China to be processed back into steel over there since they don’t have the tough environmental standards and laws then sold back to the US at a higher cost. Thus using energy to destroy and grind these cars up, then shipped half way around the world to be refined in China, then put on a ship and sent back the the US… pure genius.

But, why not take the clunkers that are traded in and trade them for junkers still in the road… oh I know why, that would make sense! Take the blue smoke, oil leaking, falling apart cars off the road that some of the really poor folks drive and give them a clunker (like say a Volvo) in better quality… naw just to logical. I swear these people need to use their heads for something besides a hat rack.

So anyway as of this coming Monday night the Cash for Clunkers is no more, many dealers have already withdrawn from the program do to the failure of the government to pay up. One major west coast dealer is reportedly out $3,000,000.00 waiting on the government to pony up the cash. As I understand it only 2% of the cash has been paid out for the clunkers, leaving a lot of dealers out a lot of money. The DOT had to hire more people to help execute this tiny, tiny program in terms of government programs because of the poor planing, poor oversight, poor execution, and poor process.

So it begs the questions that I’ve posed before if the government is ill prepared to run a tiny ill conceived program like Cash for Clunkers then HOW ON EARTH CAN THEY RUN NATIONAL HEALTH CARE?

    Answer: They can’t.

What will they do when they get a back log of sick and injured? What will they do when the system is overwhelmed? What will happen then? I guess they’ll just pull the plug on it… lets hope Grandma not on the other end.

    RECOVERY.GOV ~ AWARDED: $541,119 FOR ‘INSTALL TRAFFIC SIGNAL’…

Response to Drudge Item on Recovery Act Funding Statement from Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack

“Through the Recovery Act, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has made $100 million available to the states for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), which acquires food that is distributed to local organizations that assist the needy – including food banks, food pantries, and soup kitchens.

The Recovery Act funds referenced in press reports allowed states to purchase ham, cheese and dairy products for these food banks, soup kitchens and food pantries that provide assistance to people who otherwise do not have access to food. This program will help reduce hunger of those hardest hit by the current economic recession.

The references to “2 pound frozen ham sliced” are to the sizes of the packaging. Press reports suggesting that the Recovery Act spent $1.191 million to buy “2 pounds of ham” are wrong. In fact, the contract in question purchased 760,000 pounds of ham for $1.191 million, at a cost of approximately $1.50 per pound. In terms of the dairy purchase referenced, USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) purchased 837,936 pounds of mozzarella cheese and 4,039,200 pounds of processed cheese. The canned pork purchase was 8,424,000 pounds at a cost of $16,784,000, or approximately $1.99 per pound.

While the principal purpose of these expenditures is to provide food to those hardest hit by these tough times, the purchases also provide a modest economic benefit of benefiting Americans working at food retailers, manufacturers and transportation companies as well as the farmers and ranchers who produce our food supply.”

Government pays $1.50 a pound while Food Giant sells it retail for $0.79 pound.

    Let’s explore more…

The closest “recovery” I found to my house is… $2,500,000 at the PADUCAH REMEDIATION SERVICES LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY for RECOVERY REPLACE WAGE DETERMINATIONS… WTF is that?

Well I called PADUCAH REMEDIATION SERVICES LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY to find out what RECOVERY REPLACE WAGE DETERMINATIONS is and according to HR it’s to create 100 jobs… BUT also according to there web site they have no job posting as of this writing and if they have a job posting you have to be a 3161? What the hell is a 3161 status? Well again according to the human resources spokeswomen I talked to it laid off government workers.

This is what is said on their site…

Candidates eligible for 3161 status must so indicate on resume or cover sheet and provide a copy of their 3161 Preference-in-Hiring form. Section 3161 of the National Defense Authorization Act requires PRS to give preference in hiring to qualified 3161-eligible displaced DOE contractor employees before other external hiring takes place on DOE-funded work.

PRS is an equal opportunity employer. Applicants receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

    I’ve Googled 3161 job status and I found this…

SRS CONTRACTOR PREFERENCE IN HIRING PROCEDURE

Section 3161 of the National Defense Authorization Act of FY 1993 provides that, to the extent practicable, eligible terminated employees at a defense nuclear facility should receive preference in filling all prime contractor and subcontractor job vacancies. The Department has determined that employees must be identified as having helped maintain the Nation’s nuclear deterrent during the Cold War in order to qualify for this preference. The preference should be honored by all contractor and subcontractors with contracts that equal or exceed $500,000 in value, except subcontracts for commercial items defined as commodities and service

So according to the spokeswomen they are going to hire 100 people for $2.5 million or $25,000 a head including benefits or what I calculate to be something around minimum wage to work with nuclear waste at USEC in Paducah, KY which this company doesn’t clearly define their affiliation with for what ever reason. USEC is actually uranium enrichment plant which still causes you to glow in the dark so where do I sign up?

What I want to know is where the hell is the transparency? I had to call several people including a Congressman (that had no clue what I was talking about) then dig around several web sites to try and get an answer for some of this spending and I still don’t know where the damn money is going. Really “RECOVERY REPLACE WAGE DETERMINATIONS” what the hell is that? Seems to be a little thin on the details, seems to be lacking transparency and it’s happening again and again on the Recovery.gov website.

By the way if you are keeping note… all those Stimulus Job going to USEC in Paducah are UNION jobs. Think about it… that would be Obamabots.

Other project use terms I found…

“DEOBLIGATION OF FUNDS” … first as far as I know “deobligation” isn’t even a word but it’s costing us millions. However, “Deobligation of Funds” has a handbook.

But I took a look at the projects in my state of Kentucky I found a lot of mowing of campgrounds, maintaining park trails, building a fence around a campground and I ask how the hell is this stimulus? Where is the improved roads, the bridges, where are the job, jobs, jobs for the private sector? Everything listed is jobs for the state or federal government.

Take a look at your state and see if you fill stimulated.

    Western KY Tea Party Today

Today is the day, today is the day Americans tell the Government Enough.

UPDATE #4 Today is the day that we have the TEA Party and we are going to have a few political speaker and I really don’t know why, there part of the problem not the solution the people are the solution and they are the ones that should do the speaking. The politician should shut up, set down and listen, it’s not about them it’s about us and I for one do not agree with some of the political speakers that will be there today, because as Obama said ‘There is arrogance on America’ well I agree (you’re shocked I know) and most of it is on Capitol Hill. The people should be the focus not people running for re-election there doing nothing more than riding on the coat tails of a movement and yes Ed Whitfield I’m talking about you! You have failed to be a staunch conservative and act all to often in your own self interest the only time you act in the districts best interest is when you think it will get you some votes. Wise up Ed, some of us are watching you and we don’t like what we see.

UPDATE #3: There has been a few questions and some confusion requiring the location, there was 2 application for a TEA Party, but in interest of unity they were combined into one. So ONE TEA Party is being held at Dolly McNutt Fountain Plaza.

UPDATE #2: TEA minus 4 days and counting … Seem Ed “RINO” Whitfield is going to be at the Tea Party… I wonder if he will have a minute to hear me out I mean I’m only a vocal voter who has a soap box where ever I go. So Eddy if you or one of your staffers are reading this and I know you are, find The Angry White Guy at the Tea Party, I’ll be the one with the stickers and attitude.

UPDATE #1: I HAZ A STICKER, yes I got my “Worst President Ever”Stickers in and I’ll have them at the tea party, they will not be free since I didn’t get them for free, but they’ll be cheap. For some strange reason the gray has a greenish tint to them but they make the point …. might I add it was a PITA to get them as the vendor forgot to print them, whatever.

    Rep Ed “RINO”Whitfield (R-KY) UPDATE

If you read the original post, then you know I’ve been waiting on an answer, well I finally got a answer. A long drawn out BS answer I will not bore you with the entire letter it was basically a form letter, but I’ll give you some excerpts.

“Although I usually vote against omnibus appropriations bills, I reluctantly voted in favor of this legislation because it included funding for several projects of critical importance to our area of Kentucky”

Wrong answer Ed! At this time we need to shut down this run away spending and if the projects are that critical then put forth a bill requesting funding. These catch all bills need to stop.

“I have heard from several Kentuckians who are critical of the federal funding for local projects, commonly referred to in the media as “earmarks”. Although they are widely criticized, I don’t think earmarks necessarily are a bad thing.”

So you like earmarks and you don’t care what your constituents say, do I have that right?

“As Congress prepares to begin Fiscal Year 2010 appropriations process, it is my hope that more transparency will be brought to the Congressional earmark process and to our government as a whole. Please know that I will be working toward that goal. while also working to reduce the abuse of frivolous earmarks that are a waste of taxpayers’ dollars.”

And vote “YES” to this porked up spending package is working towards that goal exactly how? Please enlighten me.

So what was my reply to Whitfield …

Congressman, I received your reply today regarding your vote supporting HR 1105 and I found your reply unacceptable as you failed to answer a single question forwarded to you by your aid, Kristen. Republicans need to and must send a message to the Democrat leadership and this run away spending needs to stop. America can not afford it. So by voting for this bill you are clearly not part of the solution, but part of the problem. Congressman, you sold your vote for wasteful spending and earmarks. Spin it as you will, republicans need to say “No” to ALL earmarks until the economy has recovered. I can’t afford to be wasteful and increase my business spending by 8% neither can the government at this time.

Congressman, please get with the program or we will work to find your replacement. Being a conservative does not mean embracing liberal spending.

Now to be fair some of these earmarks are worthwhile projects for the area, and there are no extreme pork projects like some members have put forth. However, at this time regardless of the merit of a project a Republican/Conservative must say no to wasteful spending. Sometimes when you have a bushel of apples and they’re more rotten apples than there are good one, it’s more efficient to toss the entire bushel and start over.

    Vitter vetting greed.

Sen. David Vitter vetting congressional greed on their automatic pay raise by pushing an amendment to the omnibus-spending bill that would end automatic congressional pay raises.

This is a stroke of pure genius! The Democrats want their pork in H.R. 1105 and if this amendment is added to the bill then congress would have to trade their automatic raises for their pork … I love it, it’s a great idea! The greedy bastards in congress will have to decide if their greed of self is greater or less than greed of pork.

“Congress has been receiving pay increases most years under a formula set into law 20 years ago,” said Vitter. “At a time when so many Americans are losing their jobs and struggling to pay their mortgages, these raises just aren’t right. Most Americans don’t have a formula at their job that gives them automatic pay raises, and Congress shouldn’t either.”

The amendment would repeal the provision of law that set in place automatic raises for Members of Congress. The increase that went into effect for this year amounts to an additional $4,700 per year.

“Last year in Louisiana, the state legislature proposed a raise for its members, and Louisianans were rightfully outraged. I’ve heard from many constituents who have called to express their anger over automatic raises for Congress as well,” Vitter said. “With our economy in such a state of distress, it’s just not appropriate for Congress to continue to receive theses automatic pay raises. My amendment would require Congress to vote to approve any future pay increases.”

Vitter’s amendment is similar to a stand-alone bill he introduced at the beginning of the 111th Congress that also seeks to achieve the same goal – ending automatic pay raises.

I’m telling you between Vitter and Jindel I need to move to Louisiana eat crawdads and gator meats and know that the folks in government are thinking about those folks around the dinner table. Oh sure Vitter had an issue with some hookers a while back; at least he’s not Barney Frank. Jeez have you been to ‘naleans in the good old days … hooker were everywhere.

I have written my congressman many time regarding instant raises, and I never get a satisfactory answer. Frankly I believe congressional raise should be put on the ballot and let the people (i.e. employer) decide who gets a raise and who doesn’t. Speaking of my congressman I have an update coming for my outrage at his vote for the omnibus bill.

    Well damn …

    6:36pm Eastern…Vitter amendment goes down…tabled 52-45.
Reid whining about how “difficult” the process has been.
Looks like Congresses self greed won again.

    What other say here …

    Fighting the Obama-ganda

    Mr Thin Skin

White House Propaganda Press Sectary Robert Gibbs is on the Limbaugh attack along with scores of other left wing nut jobs like Stanley Greenberg, James Carville, Rahm Emanuel, John Podesta and many other lemmings. Not only are they blowing the Limbaugh-Steele exchange out of proportion that are also making issue of Limbaugh’s “I want him to fail.” comments which as you know that statement was directed at Obama’s policies.

Now let me try to explain this to the drive-bys, the loony left, and uneducated liberals. Rush Limbaugh is not the head of the Republican Party, Micheal Steele is not “the” head of the Republican Party. Rush Limbaugh is a talk show host that reflects what many Republicans think, not all of them, many of them. Micheal Steele is the head of the RNC (Republican National Committee) and not the head of the Republican Party. The Republican party is just that a political party, there is no HEAD of the party. The party is a ideology of conservatism, now there are assorted RINO’s in the party and they will be rooted out and removed. However, if you want to label a leader of the party than it would be Steele, but Steele needs to get some passion as does many of the party members, this stuffy, stiff shirt crab has got to go. But the Limbaugh-Steele event is moot and pointless and matters not.

So while the Obama media is ramping up the propaganda machine against all things conservative, it will be far easier for the Republicans to ramp up the FACTS of the failure and the mass of lies he’s told. Where’s the transparency? Where’s the ban on earmarks? Where’s the recovery? Where’s the tax cuts? Where’s the bipartisanship? We know where the PORK is at, where’s the truth? The Liberals are childish and easily confused, all the Republicans need to do is argue the facts and stick to there conservative principles.

The Republicans in Washington need to realize just how much Obama and his crew wear their hearts on their sleeves, they are all very thin skinned and if the conservative in Washington start firing at the administration with both barrels, they’ll loose focus and get off message and there message is propaganda and redirection. Just look at how they are responding to Limbaugh, Cramer and Santelli! It’s pathetic that the President of the United States is attacking private citizens that speak out against him, truly juvenile and truly telling. What’s it telling you may ask? Well I’ll tell you.

Obama does not have control of the economy, every time he open his mouth the market tanks, he has failed to uphold any promise he as made and he has created the largest debt in American history in record time and he does not want that to be the conversation. so what to do, redirect. Through up a red herring with Limbaugh to avoid dealing with the real issues. Keep the people focused on something polarizing and what more polarizing than Rush Limbaugh? So ignore the loony lefts arguments about Limbaugh, and redirect them back to the real argument, Obama’s socialist agenda and his massive deficit spending. Know there game and play by your rules.
