Which part of NO are you having trouble with?
I’m so tired of the poor pitiful sob stories and I’m sick of seeing the Democrats parade poor little puppet people out in front the cameras for another pity party! I get tired of hearing – idiots like Dick Durbin claiming that 70 Americans will die today because they don’t have healthcare or something 30 million are uninsured or 50 million are uninsured or was it 37 million are uninsured – pick a damn number and toss me a tissue boo-freaking-hoo! You’re lying Durbin and you’re democrat buddies are lying too. Show me some fact, some data, some evidence show me something other than your finger puppet version of reality.
Here is the REAL DEAL – If congress was to pass healthcare today, right now, right this damn minute – guess what? Roughly the same stinking number of people will die tomorrow and the next day and the next day and the next day that died today – you can’t stop death and to top that off, this lame ass healthcare plan doesn’t go into effect for 4 years and the Progressive Democrats act like they care so much – give me a freaking break! I want someone to ask one of these assholes in the Democrat party – if you care so much about the lowly plebes that you want to parade people around that you claim have been a victim of the system and have no health coverage then tell me why is it that it doesn’t go into effect for four years? Tell me if you Democrats care SO MUCH about the American peoples health and well being then why wait? What’s the delay? What’s the hold up? Why is that the taxes to pay for healthcare start the minute bill is signed, but the services to save the poor pathetic lives of the downtrodden and forgotten and those without coverage – that coverage doesn’t go into effect until late 2014? What’s up with that you all caring Dems?
That is the questions I want asked when these assholes that parade some insurance sad sack victim out on stage – if you Democrats care so much then tell me 1.) Why don’t you do something to help them? You rich help them out – share your wealth! and 2.) If this is so important it has to be done right now – what wait 4 year to put it into effect?
So let’s check out the latest sob story …
Marcelas Owens, 11-Year-Old Whose Mother Died Without Health Insurance: ‘Get The Health Care Bill Passed’
Marcelas Owens, an 11-year-old from Seattle, headlined a press conference with Senate Democratic leadership on Thursday, telling a packed room of reporters that he wanted the president and Congress to come together and pass health insurance reform.
“I am here because of my mom,” said Owens. “My mom was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension in 2006. She missed so much work she lost her job. And when my mom lost her job, she lost her health care. And losing her health care ended up costing her her life.”
What’s the real story Marcelas, your mom never hear of government run Medicaid? Why didn’t government run Medicaid save her life? She was an unemployed mother ot three she was eligible? Well seem “Miss I died because I didn’t have healthcare” did in fact received healthcare after all -let’s look and see ….
Boy who lost mom takes health-care story to D.C.
Tifanny Owens, was working as an assistant manager at Jack in the Box when she began suffering from mysterious vomiting and diarrhea in September 2006. By October that year, she had missed so much work that she lost her job — and her insurance.
Two months later, Owens sought emergency care at Swedish Medical Center’s Central Area campus, where a doctor diagnosed her with pulmonary hypertension, a serious type of high blood pressure involving the arteries in the lungs. In January, she again went to Swedish’s emergency room and was hospitalized for eight days.
Owens’ mother, Gina Owens, said her daughter, who didn’t qualify for Medicaid, avoided regular visits to a doctor despite frequently throwing up blood. In June 2007, Tifanny Owens was hospitalized yet again, this time at University of Washington Medical Center. After a week of unconsciousness, she died at age 27,
Oh she didn’t qualify for Medicaid according to her mother – so as an unemployed single mother of three she didn’t qualify for Medicare? Right – something doesn’t add up with that story there, but you’ll notice she still got help, she still went to the hospital and still received medical care and if she really didn’t have Medicare then the taxpayer didn’t have to pay for it – but as her own mother pointed out she didn’t go when she needed to and that’s her fault that’s not the fault of the heathcare system.
But I loved how Rush covered this…
Despicable Democrats Use Child to Push Obama’s Health Care Bill
DURBIN: Today, 70 Americans will die for lack of health insurance, 70. And when the Republicans tell us, “Go slow, start over, take your time,” we’ve got to add it up. It’s 70 a day. How much time can we take?
RUSH: Seventy Americans. No, his number is off. It’s 124, because the number is 45,000 a year, 365 days. That’s the number we had earlier this week, 100 some odd. Something happened to cut that number in half. Do we even believe this? Seventy people a day die because they don’t have health insurance? You know how this number was arrived at? We had the guy call us. Some survey company went out there and if somebody did not have health insurance, what year was it? 85? Everybody that’s died since 1985 is assumed not to have had health insurance if they didn’t have it in 1985. That’s the extent of the scientific nature of the survey. But here’s the dirty little secret, Senator Durbin. And I would also say this to Marcelas Owens. Well, your mom would have still died, because Obamacare doesn’t kick in until 2014 if they sign it this year. And Senator Durbin, that means that 70 Americans are going to die every day for the next four years until the actual so-called benefits of which there are none kick in. So why this mad dash on this? It doesn’t kick in for four years. We’ve been through this over and over. You’re getting blue in the face hearing me. Here’s Chuck-U Schumer following Dick Durbin.
SCHUMER: We’re asking for an up-or-down vote. And that sounds abstract. It’s about Marcelas’s mom. An up-or-down vote is about people’s lives.
RUSH: I want to puke. I literally want to puke.
Gawd isn’t that the truth!
But let’s do some math … Durbin say 70 American’s will die every day from not having health insurance – 70 he repeated! Oh now that’s just awful, but wait how many American’s die everyday? — Well according to my math, which is generally pretty good according to the CDC a total of 6642 people in America die every day and according to Dick Durbin 70 of them to not have healthcare…. that’s 1.05% of daily deaths are uninsured, oh tragic-tragic, meanwhile 98.95% of those that die do have coverage – and that is using their numbers! Now according to the Dopey Dumbo in the White House about 10% of the population or 30+ million people in America do not have health insurance so based on the Democrats numbers and the Democrats words the vast majority of people dying daily have health insurance as we figured earlier. So one can conclude that lack of healthcare is not a significant contributor of mortality in American and healthcare does little to nothing to prolong life and reduce mortality.
No could go further and say those without healthcare have a lower mortality rate than those with it so in order to save lives we should get rid of healthcare – isn’t that liberal logic?
Now I have no idea where Durbin or the Progressive Democrats get their numbers and I’m guess as with most of the things they say they are pulling them out of their ass – however my numbers come from the CDC because I figure if you are going to argue with the government then use the governments data against them.
The reality is - rarely do the numbers coming out of Washington DC add up to anything meaningful, they play more games with numbers than a back-ally bookie betting the ponies and when they don’t have the numbers to show you – then they make them up often playing fast and loose with the facts. So anything they tell you about this healthcare bill is dubious at best and a lie more likely.
And one last thing – just so you know - the Democrat congressional leaders agreed to fold Obama’s student-loan proposal into a bill aimed at winning final approval of his drive to overhaul U.S. healthcare. Now what the hell student loans have to do with healthcare is beyond me – meanwhile the quarter trillion dollar Doc Fix is left out of the healthcare bill to keep the CBO’s numbers down to fudge the numbers once again.
So why is there a student loan reader in the healthcare bill — I know you are wondering – it’s an entitlement for “underrepresented minorities” going to medical school now what’s a “underrepresented minorities” well I can tell you it’s not Asians and it’s not Jews so you do the math on that. Frankly, I thought being “underrepresented” is what made you a minority in the first damn place – but what do I know I’m white.
