What about this Mosque in ….

Not Ground Zero it’s not Chicago no, no, no it’s rural Western Kentucky!

WTF?

Here is the deal some time back the local chicken plant, Pilgrim’s Pride got nervous about the number of illegals they had working there – the local folks didn’t like it and it was becoming a political hot topic as not only did Pilgrim’s Pride just emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy they also had a company wide problem with illegals. So while Pilgrim’s Pride was a large employer in the area they weren’t employing locals as they employed a lot of Hispanics both legal and illegal and in a area high in unemployment this didn’t set well. Since the immigration debate was raging across the country – Pilgrim’s Pride quietly got rid of most of their Hispanic workers and replaced them with Somali workers brought in on a government refugee program – how the hell they end up in rural Kentucky I don’t know, but whatever.

So now most of the Hispanics are gone and they have been replaced by Somalis refugees. And they asked and apply for a permit to open a Mosque in a small building downtown with no parking and do this lack of parking and a small building the permit was refused on August 25, 2010 and on August 26, 2010 a Somali man allegedly tries to kidnap a 12 year old girl was arrested at the address of the purposed Mosque building. Kind of odd don’t you think? No in fairness just like every person in jail he claims he is innocent and didn’t do it – shocker there.

Side note: From my days of working around convicts I never met a single one that was guilty – so I asked them “Then way are you here?”

So here is the story – now I’m going to have to copy all of the articles from West Kentucky Star as their active links change as fast as the wind … Now, I don’t like copying full articles but if Joe, Ro, Donna or Dunker have a problem with it then call me and I’ll fix it.

Board Denies Request for Somali Mosque in Mayfield
By Joe Jackson
MAYFIELD, KY – There will be no Muslim Mosque in Mayfield. The Mayfield Zoning Board on Tuesday denied a group of Somali Muslims’ request for a conditional use permit to open a Mosque in Mayfield.

The board ruled the size of the building was not big enough to hold the number of Somalis who might worship at any given time. The board also said there wasn’t adequate parking at the proposed site at 312 East Broadway.

“There’s really no off-street parking,” Commissioner Don Costello said. “There’s very limited on-street parking and the neighbors say they can’t use the spaces they’re not using. So it came down to parking and public safety.”

Pam Frizzell from New Wave Hair Salon next door to the proposed Mosque site said it would have definitely caused a parking problem for her customers.

“Our patrons have a hard time finding a place to park right now,” Frizell said. “I don’t want my customers to have to walk from two blocks away just to get their hair done.”

The proposed site only has six parking spaces and the section of the building the Somalis wanted to hold religious meetings in can only hold 40 people. City officials estimate there are between 150 and 300 Somalis in Mayfield and Graves County.

City Planner Brad Rodgers said this is the first time the city has denied a religious group a conditional use permit and he says this might not be the last we hear about the issue.

“This issue may not be over,” Rodgers said. “They could choose to go to another building. They could appeal this to the Circuit Court if they so choose. This is probably not a dead issue.”

An overflow crowd filled the council chambers of City Hall Tuesday for the public hearing. More than 100 people were turned away because there was not enough room.

No Somalis attended the hearing. Graves County Sheriff John Davis said one of the Somali petitioners showed up but was turned away by law enforcement by mistake.

Well the Somali lost that permit due to parking and building size – I know the area and that’s a valid concern also the building is very small which would be a problem for a large crowd. So what to do – maybe kidnap a child? Yea that’s it.

Somali Man Charged with Attempted Kidnapping
By Joe Jackson
MAYFIELD, KY – Mayfield police are investigating the attempted abduction of a 12-year-old girl by a Somali refugee. Police arrested 23-year-old Yusuf Hassan of Mayfield Tuesday at 312 East Broadway.

If that address sounds familiar it’s because that’s the address that a group of Somalis had sought to use as a mosque before Mayfield’s Zoning Board denied it a permit. Hassan has been charged with the attempted kidnapping of a minor.

Police say Hassan approached the girl Tuesday around 5 pm on South Sixth Street. He allegedly grabbed her on the shoulder but the girl shrugged him off. He then grabbed her around the waist and tried to take her to his car which was parked in a nearby lot. The girl broke free and ran to her mother’s workplace nearby.

Police found the car and the girl was able to identify Hassan in a photo lineup. He was arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail. His bond is set at $100,000.

So what you think about that?

I’ve read dozens of liberal bloggers calling the folks here backwoods rednecks, hicks, inbred, racist, intolerant and about any other derogatory term you can think of – but it’s funny I didn’t here them say a single word about the attempted kidnapping of the young girl by the Somali immigrant. Weird huh?

But it not just us redneck toothless hicks in Western Kentucky denying permits for Mosque they are doing it in Chicago too…

Let there be pain…

I know I haven’t posted in a few day – there has a been a lot going on that I really wish wasn’t, but tis life. I will not get into the who, what, when, where and why’s I will only say I pity the fool that crosses me.

So anyway, I stated this last week…

I don’t know about you but I’m sick of working my ass off to pay Federal government employees to set around and surf for porn, I’m sick of watching the Obama’s go on vacation after vacation and sending the tax payer the bill, I’m sick of seeing politicians go to Washington an average Joe (or Jane) and come back disconnected millionaires,  I’m sick of knowing that the average Federal government employee that works for us lowly tax payers makes on average twice what that of the average American and I’m sick of paying for the dead-weight and dredges of society to set around with their hand out looking for more. So I say start trimming the fat, start culling the slackers, start cleaning the house and let the pain begin – we tax payers have suffered long enough so to hell with share the wealth – it’s time to share the pain.

It seems every time the government talk about pain and sacrifice it never applies to them, it never applies to those with their hands out, it never applies to the career politician and it never applies to the L.I.F.E.R federal workers – (what’s a LIFER you may ask – it’s a military term for “Lazy Inconsiderate F***er’s Expecting Retirement”) Nope it only applies to the already over taxed worker in the 53 percentile that is just trying to get ahead. Well it’s time it stops and it’s time to start the sharing the wealth of the pain with those in Washington and the ones with their grubby little paws out chanting gemme, gemme, gemme. Let us check out a few links…

On occasion you’ll hear them talk about cutting entitlements out one side of their mouth while talking about expanding them out the other.

Dems may use food stamp money to pay for Michelle Obama’s nutrition initiative

Democratic leaders have voiced the hope that they will be able to stop them in future legislation.

And that’s all you need to know – they talk a big game and then quietly back track into wasting more money all a long. So while the Dems talk about cutting food stamps, just to turn around and talk about not cutting them – across the aisle the GOP wants to end anchor babies which I think most of us are all for according to most polls.

Boehner has said ending anchor babies is worth considering…

Boehner: End to Birthright Citizenship ‘Worth Considering’

House Minority Leader John Boehner on Sunday said he’s open to talks on changing the U.S. Constitution — or at least the way it’s interpreted — so that U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants are not automatically U.S. citizens.

“I think it’s worth considering,” Boehner said.

It’s not worth considering, it’s worth doing – no other country on earth allows you to become a citizen just by being born there – its time to end anchor babies. It’s time to send the illegal back from where they came and if the Federal government won’t do it, it’s time the states take charge and do the job the American Federal government doesn’t want to do – to toss their own turn a phrase in their face.

Anchor babies 8% of births in U.S. annually

As the phenomenon of so-called “anchor babies” — infants born to illegal aliens within the United States and its territories that automatically become citizens — becomes more of an election issue in many localities, a Pew poll reveals that 8 percent of babies born each year in the U.S. are anchor babies.

According to the Pew Hispanic Center, approximately 340,000 of the 4.3 million babies born in the United States in 2008 were the children of illegal aliens, many of whom emanate from Mexico.

In my world that qualifies as a invasion – and for me it doesn’t matter what country they come from Mexico, Canada, China, England etc – come to this country legally or get out – period.

And that’s just the start of it illegal cost the taxpayer an unbelievable amount of money.

Staggering Cost Of Illegal Aliens In America Taxpayers Taken To The Cleaners

This is not new it’s from 2008

The NRC found that the average immigrant household receives $13,326 in federal welfare and pays $10,664.00 in federal taxes. Thus, American taxpayers shell out $2,682.00 for each immigrant household.

In addition, the report showed that immigrants affect 15 different executive agencies of the U.S. government.

Earned Income Tax Credit-fraud is rampant and IRS does little to verify existence of children. Clean Air and Climate Change-these goals are unattainable as long as US population grows-driven by unending immigration. Emergency medical treatment-US taxpayer money provides $250 million a year to help hospitals defray costs for illegal aliens. Bureau of Land Management-the Interior Department spends $1 million to mitigate environmental damage done by illegals crossing US southern border. Migrant educational grants-intended to help states educate children of illegal workers. More fraud from over-counting. Office of Foreign Labor Certification-immigrant workers depress wages for US citizens resulting in declines in federal revenues at $100 billion annually.

So taking into account the amount of money being wasted on illegals – it’s time to cull the dead weight from the multitude of government hand out programs, it’s time to reduce food stamps and limit them to a few basic choices, it’s time to end government housing, government payments and provide those that are already lazy a way to stay that way. It’s not just illegals it’s mostly moocher Americans too.

It’s time to end endless unemployment do to tax and spend, anti business liberals – I have people ask me on occasion if I’d hire them and pay them cash so they can continue to draw their unemployment and they want $10, $15, $20 hour cash which is good money around here – to which I say if I hire you then you are no longer unemployed and if I find out you’re working for cash I’ll report you and who ever employs you as you are stealing from me – so you can get off the government tit and stop trying to double dip. Seriously who wants to hire anyone that has been slacking for over two years? I know I don’t.

But what do the idiot liberals do, extent unemployment again and again enabling the entitlement mentality to become ingrained.

These people in the White House promised that if the government spent a trillion of your dollars on stimulus unemployment would NOT go over 8% – well it did and it remains there and while the Moron in charge continues to blame Bush that excuse is running thin even with his base, most people don’t want excuses they want results…

Jobless millions signal death of the American dream for many

The headline jobless figure of 9.5% is bad enough but does not begin to convey the problem as it fails to measure those who have stopped looking for work. Over the past three months alone more than a million Americans have fallen into that category: effectively giving up hope of finding a job and dropping out of the official statistics. Such cases now number some 5.9 million and their ranks are likely to grow as millions more find their jobless status becoming a permanent state of hopelessness. Surveys show that with each passing week on the dole their chances of finding a job get slimmer.

How that HOPE and Change working out for you?

But aside from those that want to work verses those that want to mooch off the tit – the reality is nothing this man child has done has worked because he is clueless to basic business intelligence. Good Lord the man child never even had a paper route better yet ran an actual business.

So before I go all A.D.D. and get off the subject at hand I have to ask if Obama says America can no longer be the economic super power of the world, the driving force behind the worlds engine then how is it we can continue to afford to pay people to be worthless slugs? The money is not there, the money has been spend and the days of being spend happy drunkards are over it’s time to sober up cut the spending and pay the bills.

But to be clear…

Is every one getting help from the government a worthless mooch – no they are not but it’s a lot easier to find a system gamer or a fraud than it is to find someone who actually needs help – I say let charities and churches help those actually in need until we weed out the worthless as they are in a better position to weed out the fakes quickly without bureaucracy. The government on the other hand wants as many as dependent as they can get because when the government controls your money they control your life and political cowards want nothing more than a dependent masses – freedom is a threat to tyranny.

The pain of relearning self reliance must begin, it’s one thing to have a safety net for when you fall it’s another entirely to land on a Sleep Comfort bed – it’s been my experience in life that when you fall it hurts and you learn not to trip again – there are no lessons being taught today, they is no real pain in failure and there should be – sometime the failure is your fault, sometimes it’s not – that’s life and life is not fair and the soon people begin to relearn that basic fact the quicker this country gets back on the road.

Obama says it’s the Republicans that drove us into a ditch and now they want the keys back, he claim we are back on the road and he doesn’t think they need the keys back – well if this is the road I’d love to see their map, but I’ve got a pretty good idea what map they’re using and you’ll never get anyplace in America using a map of Europe or Russia where it seems Obama thinks we are.

I need Boots

I know what you might be thinking – you may think I need boots on the ground to campaign for great Americans like Basil Marceaux (dot com) or cross the aisle and help Alvin Green – I mean after all could we do any worse than what we have right now? Really it might be ab improvement. So are the boots I’m talking about?

NO!

I’m talking about regular old work boots you wear on your feet that are made in the good old USA – see I work (don’t be afraid liberals, you should try it – it pays) and all I want to do is get a pair of work boots made in the USA – is that to much to ask for? So being a guy that likes to not only buy America, I like to buy local and keep the my money in my community and my country – crazy I know, but it’s what I do. So I go to the store and I find some boots and I come across some Georgia Boots… are they made in the state of Georgia? Nope – made in China so I pass and walk off mumbling “Georgia my ass”. I go to another store and I look at some Carhartt’s… are they made in the USA? NO! Made in China – Carhartt’s the American working brand made in China! Good grief! So I look at Red Wing’s they are they made in the USA, well some are but this store only had the one’s made in China and seemed surprised that the brands they thought were made in America were all made in China to which I said “Well look at the label genius!” – the search went on… I looked at Carolina Boots, some made in the USA but those were are made by scummy Unions and we know what I think of those – so I looked at Caterpillar Boots; Made in China – Timberline; China – Red Wing WORX; China – John Deere; China – Danner; China and the list goes on and on and on. All made in China (with a few exceptions on a few models).

So somewhat pissed and dismayed I head home and search up “Made in USA work boots” online and come across a website that sold only Made in America work boots – so now I’m in near nirvana, but I don’t like like buying boots online – I want to try them on first for two good reasons 1.) Quality work boots cost about $300 or more and 2.) I spend 10-14 hours a day or longer in them and I want comfort, comfort I’ll pay good money for comfort, so it’s rather important that I have comfortable shoes – I could care less if they are stylish or not. I’m a middle aged, middle class white guy that is more concerned with comfort than style.

Anyway I look at some Red Wing Beckman Round Boots that are made in the USA … well at nearly $300.00 I want to try them on first, I know they are boots and it will take a good 2 or 3 weeks to get them broke in and nobody around here has them and the places that can order them want some non-refundable money to special order them – well hell no I’m not putting non-refundable money down on something that might not fit right, forget it!

So the search goes on and I find the brick and mortar/mail order store in Tennessee not that far from me – I fire off a pithy e-mail about hours “Do you have boots made in America by non-union shops?” They reply that they do, so now I have to find time I do not have to go to Martin, Tennessee to The Shoe Shack (sounds classy huh?) and find some boots. Hopefully made in America in a non-union shop…

So why am I babbling about boots and not politics – well to tell you what you already know that finding products made in America is a job in itself – and everything going on in the wide, wide world of politics is the same old crap – the Obama’s are out of touch with the American people, the Democrats are corrupt idiots, the Republicans are spineless worms and the tax payer is getting screwed while 47% of the country suckles upon the government tit add to that unemployment is high, the debt is huge and tax and spending never stops and what’s new? And as goes the world of politics – life goes on and I need a new pair of boots – the only question is will I find any that might my lofty demands?

President Barack Obama Parkway … and other stupid things

Leave “president” off Obama Parkway? Council says no way

It’s official: An 800-foot stretch of Orlando road is now named “President Barack Obama Parkway.”

The City Council voted Monday to rename a short section of Mission Road between Cason Cove Drive and Conroy Road in Obama’s honor.

What number of official stimulus road project was this? Remember Dopey flew on our dime to Ohio to announce the 10,000 road project paid for with stimulus money… problem is most of it is a sham then again naming a parkway after Obama is about as stupid as claiming projects being built before Obama was even elected are a result of stimulus money.

Here is one of many local project under way before 2008 that they are claiming are a result of stimulus money sham…

Why is it a sham, well let me tell you – before I every heard of Barack Obama (ah the good ole days) they were building a new road – 4 lane divided highway that they’ve talked about for decades through the LBL (Land between the Lakes) – they’ve been actually working on the new road through it since before 2005/2006 over 2 years before I really knew who Dopey  Obama was and a full 4 years or more before the Stimulus Bill was signed.

I drove through the LBL several times over the last couple of weeks and guess what – there are big Stimulus Project logo signs all over it claiming this road project was paid for with stimulus money – well how the hell is that possible when the road was planned and underway before Obama was even a Senator? This was not a new road it was being built during the Bush years, it was being laid out during the Clinton years and I kid you not they started talking about improving this road since Nixon was in office and now I’m suppose to believe that some stimulus bill is the only thing that made this happen and that’s just one – I haven’t since a road project yet that wasn’t under way before Obama that is now sporting a Stimulus sign – so IMHO it’s all a sham.

Lies I tell you all lies and it’s not the only bogus road project Ive seen.

Is Obama admitting the STIMULUS FAILED?

Well no, but in a roundabout way what else could it mean?

Obama Appeals to Congress for $50 Billion in Emergency Aid

WASHINGTON — President Obama is pressing Congress to approve emergency aid money to support economic recovery and help avoid widespread layoffs of public workers, the Washington Post reported Saturday.

Congressional leaders received a letter from the president asking for almost $50 billion for distribution to state and local governments, saying that increased spending is “urgent and unavoidable,” the Post reported. The money would protect the jobs of teachers, police and firefighters.

“Because the urgency is high—many school districts, cities and states are already being forced to make these layoffs,” Obama wrote, “these provisions must be passed as quickly as possible.”

Excuse me where the hell did that trillion in stimulus money go? Why can’t these state governments cuts spending and why is it always… every damn time spending has to be cut the Democrats play the teachers, police and firefighters will loose their job card? Why not cut road crews that send 14 people out to fill one little pot hole? (I’ve seen it, it’s true) Why not cut the clowns that set around all day and surf for porn? What not cut those that get busting abusing government credit cards for personal gain? Why not crack down on fraud and waste? Don’t tell me they these aren’t there I see it all the time – why not cut useless State Capitol staff that do nothing more than collect a check? Why not cut the Governors perks like private jets when they can drive what about the Governor Mansion do we really need that in these tough economic times the toughest since the great depression? Give me the damn budget and highlighter pen and you’ll see some spending cuts ASAP.

Here is another idea the other day I was at the local High School and school is out – it was well over 90 outside and I walk into the mostly empty school – a huge school were about 12 people were at and the temperature in the school was about 60 degrees – I shit you not I was freezing and one of the people there told me they had a space heater running in their office to stay warm! So I ask what does it cost in electricity to cool a 10′s of 1000′s of square foot building down about 30 degrees from the outside temperature? And it’s not just schools you go into any government building and it is ice cold in the summer and hot as hell in the winter and meanwhile all governments tell you to run a fan, open a window or put on a damn sweater and wrap up in a blanket… I’m sick of the hypocrisy! If government wants me to sweat my ass off inside in the summer and freeze it off in the winter then lead by example or shut the hell up. I keep my house about 79-80 degrees in the summer and when – like today the heat index is a 110 outside, 80 feels pretty good! As for the winter I burn wood and set the gas heat on 65-68 because unlike the government I can’t raise anyone’s taxes to pay the bill! I tell you what – I’m going to go on a one man mission if I have too – to put a end to ice cold offices in the summer and ovens in the winter… bitch to me about energy and fossil fuels will you while government is the biggest consumer and abuser in any federal, state and local levels.

So Obama no more money for you – you’ve pissed away trillions like it flows from a tap and now you want more? No, I don’t think so – cut spending, reduce the size of government and cut waste and then and only then will we talk. I’m sick of you hypocritical people.

Oh and for you Governor Steve here in the great Commonwealth of Kentucky sell a few more of those aircraft – in February the Commonwealth sold two of it’s fifteen aircraft…. FIFTEEN! Looks like we have at least twelve to go, I’d say keep one for emergencies only.

Kentucky selling two planes

Kentucky currently owns 15 aircraft: seven airplanes and eight helicopters. Most of the aircraft are small planes that are used to fly the Governor, Cabinet Secretaries, University presidents and others on official government business. The cost depends on the trip and the plane used.

Ever hear of a car? Hell get a Hybrid if you really want to set an example.

While Kentucky has 15 aircraft, across the river in Indiana, the Hoosier state has eight aircraft, while West Virginia has only five. On the higher side, Virginia has 17, Ohio 24, and Tennessee 39.

If you read the story they try to spin it that it saves the state money, claiming it only cost $125 hour to operate the plane. Now I’m not a aviation expert but I have a cousin who is and I’m going to put a call in to him because I know that a helicopter requires two hours of ground maintenance for ever one hour of fly time, not sure on planes but I’m willing to bet $125 that it cost a hell of a lot more than that to fly a aircraft for an hour if you factor fuel, pilot, co-pilot, insurance, maintenance, hanger cost, wear and tear and fees…. $125.00 my ass! You know and I know it’s BS because it cost a lot more than the price of gas to drive a car… bunch of lyin’ ass bastards.

So after all of that the way I see it is that if Obama wants more “stimulus” on top of the already wasted “stimulus” then it must mean the first “stimulus” failed like so many said it would.. which would beg the question, why give him more to waste? It’s like enabling a junkie.

OK I’m done now…

Trey Grayson and the Entitlment Handout Campaign

Trey Grayson - Clinton delegate

Trey Grayson - Clinton Delegate

Trey Grayson is running against Rand Paul for KY Senate seat now I’ve met both these guys and Trey here in the closing stretch is running a DEMOCRAT campaign talk about Medicare, Social Security, Farm Subsidies and various other government handout programs and he is pushing that he is the “true conservative” – so let me ask you Charles Merwin “TreyGrayson III how can you be a conservative pushing handouts we can no longer afford? How? Social Security is broke – it’s out of money this year, Medicare and Medicaid is broke and has $37 TRILLION in unfunded liabilities – where will the money come from? Farm Subsidies? Only Mega farms are getting those, it’s not the Mom and Pop old McDonald farms getting these government subsidies – trust me I’m in farm country, I worked on farms, I grew up on a “Old McDonald Farm” I have farming in my blood and there was no government money there – now the mega farms got it and they still do and that’s the Corporate Farming Welfare.

Grayson is acting like the democrat he really is – trying to get elected on the fear of cuts in government handouts – well Trey we are going to have to cut handouts – we can no longer afford them and if you think I’m going to send a rubber stamp for the lifer politician Mitch McConnell you can forget it. Grayson is running as a spending cutting, budget cutting conservative while pushing government handouts. Grayson has ran one of the most negative mud slinging campaigns I’ve seen in Kentucky in awhile, Paul has taken the high road and stuck to the issues only confronting Grayson lies in debates – I’ve researched Charles Merwin Grayson III’s claims on Paul and it has been lie after lie from Grayson.

Rand Paul has not mentioned Grayson buys into global warming and Cap and Trade which would kill Kentucky’s oil, gas and coal industry nor Grayson association with the Aspen Institute as a 2005 Inaugural Class member or his appearance with Van Jones at a Global Warming Program at EKU with Focus the Nation. Rand Paul may not mention these things as Grayson runs his handout campaign – but I will. Grayson likes to point out he is a lifelong Kentuckian and Rand Paul isn’t – well Rand Paul has been a Kentuckian longer than Grayson has been a Republican – so what’s you point Trey? Paul isn’t a good ol boy groomed by the same old tired politicians that have gone to Washington and stayed to long? Is that your point?

Trey Grayson is a RINO and bad for business – he is bad for Kentucky – vote Rand Paul on May 18th and again on November 2nd.

Just so you know…  Trey Grayson has 5,726 Facebook friends while Rand Paul has only 32,562. (Not that, that means anything)

Oh and one thing for you nut jobs out there that are comparing him to Ron Paul his father – ask yourself this do you agree 100% with your father? I know I don’t that is a weak and pathetic argument.

Grayson, Paul and two other guys debate

YouTube Preview Image
About a hour long…

Rand Paul and Trey Grayson along with a birther and religious nut – squared off in a debate on KET (Kentucky’s Liberal Public Television Propaganda Network). Admittedly I’m a Paul support, but originally I set out to be a Grayson supporter until I saw him at Fancy Farm and as his absolute arrogance showed I dropped him like a bad habit. I wasn’t impressed – I’ve posted on this long ago so I will not go over it again.

Grayson is clearly the same-o, same-o tired hat that’s been in Washington far to long – endorsed by the same-o, same-o people that have equality been in Washington to long and if you keep putting the same ingredient in the pot don’t expect to get a different dish. I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of swill.

The other two in the debate Gurley Martin and “Pappy O’Daniel” Stevenson were mainly just time wasters that need to know when to step down. Gurley is about 90 years old and reminded me of William Hickey where as Stevenson a walking-talking heart attack was capable of working a bible quote into every statement. It’s fine to be religious, but dude reel in it some you are out there. These two guys had to be cut off and stopped from interrupting – which was mainly addressed at Gurley that muttered under his breath at everything the others said – you’ll recall Gurley was at the Paducah debate but wasn’t included and was pissed and got as disruptive as a nearly 90 year old can.

All and all I think Paul handed Grayson his hat in verbal slap down as Grayson has only ran a mud slinging campaign full of distortions and I don’t say that as a Paul supporter – it’s fact look it look. Grayson has pulled every dirty trick in the book and has Mitch McConnell’s “Team Mitch” working his campaign so Paul is going up against the McConnell machine that has kept him in the Senate far to long. (Grayson’s campaign manager has a teammitch.com e-mail account)

Plan on Grayson making a big deal out of Paul stating he would not blindly support McConnell (who has endorsed Grayson) for Senate leader. Which I agree with Paul – McConnell has no backbone and even though he is from Kentucky I’m not going to give him a pass on his spineless leadership – McConnell has his qualities but he has been grooming Grayson to replace Bunning for years and with that I have a problem.

Anyway if you are a Republican in KY – next week May 18th vote Rand Paul.

Daniel Mongiardo milking the government cow

Taxpayer leech

Daniel Mongiardo and Jack Conway are running for Jim Bunning’s senate seat in Kentucky they are both on the Democrat ticket – but they are both running around the state promoting that that both took a 10% pay cut and feel that well lowly taxpayers must hoist them upon on shoulders and parade them though the streets, well not so fast – so let’s look at that.

Conway, Mongiardo both taking 10 percent salary pay cut

In 2008, Governor Steve Beshear announced that he, Mongiardo, and five other administration members would take a voluntary pay cut in 2009. The move was done to save the state $100,000.

With the pay cut in 2009, Mongiardo’s salary went from $101,598.60 to $91,437.12. His salary this year, with the cut, will drop from $108,720.50 to $98,836.62.

Conway’s salary last year was $105,836.44. It is $108,600.48 this year. With the 10 percent reduction, they will be $95,252.80 and $97,740.43, respectively.

So even though they took a pay cut they got a pay raise from the prior year? Hmm, how is that possible? Well it seems they both took a 10% pay cut but they still got a nearly 8% pay raise which far out paced inflation and out paced by miles and mile the raise that the average state worker received. Many state workers received a 1% or less pay raise, which fall far short of the national inflation rate. Additionally regular state workers are told to cut back, travel less and use a state car for work related travel – I wonder does Danial do that? Hmm…

Here is some of the skinny I’ve found on Mongiado. He is making $7399.50 more than he made last year even after his for appearances pay cut and this in addition to the $30,000.00 housing allowance he receives from the state (tax payers that is), but get this – Mongiardo listed his in-laws’ home as his official address on both his marriage license in June 2008 and his daughter’s birth certificate in December 2009. So it seems he is living with his in-laws and getting paid $30,000.00 a year from the folks of Kentucky that he is just pocketing – guess I too could afford a 10% pay cut if that was the deal. Furthermore, Mongiado also racks up mo’ money in travel-expenses he billed the state $33,000 for trips, including conferences and visits across the state. Additionally, it cost at least $23,600 more for state troopers assigned to Mongiardo’s security detail to go with him. Now my question is he out campaigning on he taxpayer’s dime? Or just milking the government cow for every dime he can get? Keep in mind the Commonwealth of Kentucky is facing record deficits under the misguiding hand of Democrat Governor Steve Beshear.

But it gets better…

Mongiardo’s expenses there included $48 steaks for him and his wife. The meal cost nearly $193.00! In addition, his two security guards, Bruce Kelley and John Napier, had dinner at the same restaurant, spending $147. EB Green’s menu lists steaks costing from $30 to $77.

Mongiardo lame ass excuse …

In addition to Mongiardo and his wife each having a $48 filet, Mongiardo ordered an $8.50 molten lava dessert. His wife had a $7.50 crème brûlée.

Crème brûlée is “my wife’s favorite. She is addicted to it,” Mongiardo said.

Asked whether such a meal is extravagant at taxpayers’ expense, he said, “Expensive? For New York?”

“That would be expensive in Lexington, KY. For New York, I’ve seen $10 baked potatoes,” he said. “I don’t know if that was expensive or not.”

Mongiardo was in Buffalo, NY – not New York City – there is a world of difference and 100′s of miles in those two cities. This is nothing but a spin, it’s weak, weak excuse he needs to answer for it. And he doesn’t know if that’s expensive or not – NEWSFLASH $200 for dinner is expensive, OK! And its unacceptable of the taxpayers dime! He could have hauled his elitist ass across the street to the Century Grill across the street from E.B. Green and had – 8 oz. strip steak, mashed potatoes, field green salad with balsamic dressing & a beer for $14.00 any day! So Mongiardo’s excuse of “it was NY” doesn’t hold water as he is trying to mislead the public into thinking it was New York City – a failed attempt at a spin. I have so info for you Daniel I’ve traveled outside of the state and I know what meals cost – so blow smoke up someone else’s ass, thanks.

You know what I say about Mongiardo’s New York excuse? I’ll leave it to the Italians and let Frank Caliendo impersonating Al Pacino tell Daniel Mongiardo what the dealio is-o.

Oh and by the way 54% of Mongiardo’s campaign PAC money comes from big labor and Jack Conway received 33% of his campaign PAC from big labor. For the record Rand Paul has not received one cent in PAC money from labor nor has the former democrat Trey Grayson received any labor PAC.

Well, I’m not going to go on and on harping on Prince Daniel and his living large on the taxpayers dime. I think it is safe to say he is a taxpayer-abusing liar.

Now Jack Conway he hasn’t been as abusive to the tax payer in term of perks and expenditures – but as I stated yesterday Conway an attorney, is a constitution idiot. The reality is neither Mongiardo or Conway pose much of a threat to the Republican candidates, but we shouldn’t get complacent and keep hamming these guys until they go away.

One closing thought on Mongiardo and he $30,000.00 housing perk … “Mongiardo campaign spokesman Kim Geveden defended the housing allowance, saying “there is nothing illegal, unethical or untoward” in receiving it.” You wanna bet Kim? I’ll take that argument any day, anyplace, anytime. The median income for a family of four in Kentucky is $32,591.00 and Mongiardo is pocketing nearly that much alone to set around in mommy in-law’s basement while wearing his Sponge Bob jammies – ok maybe he is not wearing Sponge Bob jammies but you get the idea. I just have no use for this kind of BS and that’s all it is – is BS!

KY AG Jack Conway a DEMOCRAT is a Constitutional Idiot

Kentucky’s own Attorney General Jack Conway a democrat is a constitutional idiot and he is running for the senate. He said on Neil Cavuto’s show regarding the reason he will not join in the lawsuits to sue the Fed’s over healthcare is it’s a constitutional right…

Kentucky Attorney General Won’t Sue

CAVUTO: We should say, for those — and you know this inside and out, Attorney General, but what is being protested here, or at least appealed to the court level, and maybe all the way up to the Supreme Court, is the notion, can the government force you to buy health insurance?

And a lot of these A.G.s are saying, no, they can’t. You’re saying that, yes, they can.

CONWAY: What I’m saying is, my copy of the Constitution doesn’t carry a right not to be insured and that, if you don’t carry insurance, you’re likely to be some sort of drag on the system. Now, those are not my words, Neil. Those are worlds of Charles — words of Charles Fried, who’s a Harvard law professor and Ronald Reagan’s solicitor general from 1985 to 1989.

Your copy of the Constitution? Would that be the one you wrote on the back of a bar napkin in crayon? And I love the way this democrats keep tossing around Charlies Fried, Ronald Reagan’s solicitor general – what they don’t tell tell you is Charlies Fried is an Obama supporter – not exactly a dye in the wool conservative now is he? But that love to invoke the name Ronald Reagan like that gives their argument weight, well it’s doesn’t since Fried supported Obama his credibility is shot.

Now since I live in Kentucky I’m going to contact Jack Conway and ask him just which part of the Constitution carries the right to be insured… seems that the Attorney General of Kentucky is a constitutional idiot and is unaware of the fact that the US Constitution list the enumerated powers of the government and anything not listed with in the 4 corners of that document is an inalienable right given by God. No place does it say you have the right to taxpayer funded healthcare … how do I know? I’ve read the Constitution, something Attorney General Jack Conway DEMOCRAT Senatorial candidate in Kentucky needs to do! Perhaps I’ll send him a copy since his is written in crayon.

I will be calling his office and asking just where the constitution say this, me being a ignorant hick from the political Siberia of far, far Western Kentucky I’d love to know.

But the right reason Conway is not suing the Fed’s over healthcare is real simple – he’s a Progressive Liberal Democrat.

By the way – the other democrat running in the race Lt Governor Daniel Mongiardo has been staying with his in-laws in Frankfort while receiving a $30,000-a-year housing allowance from the state. $30,000.00 is more than a lot of Kentuckians make – if fact it’s more than most Kentuckians make.

Mongiardo Gets Housing Stipend, Stays with In-laws
