Urkle’s remarks on Flight 253 with my commentary

Barack Urkle Obama

NOTE: The other day I spelled ‘Urkle’ as ‘Erkle’… I have seen it both ways and since I never watched the show I was unsure… it seems that it’s Urkle. So sorry President Urkle I didn’t mean to misspell your name.

Before I start a few of points to be found here…

1.) Obama made note of Iran’s violence on “solemn occasions and holy days” however he only referenced CHRISTmas only as a holiday in the wake of the latest terrorist attack.
2.) He is now running damage control with another speech on 12/29 after the speech below as a result of his failed policy and his inept appointments (namely Napolitano and Holder along with many others)
3.)  He wore out the word “allegedly” instead of facing reality that this guy is an Islamic Terrorist of which he never uttered once.

Now for a few snide remarks,

Here is Urkle’s speech with a few comments… the man is making George Bush look like a genius more and more everyday.

Good morning, everybody. I wanted to take just a few minutes to update the American people on the attempted terrorist attack that occurred on Christmas Day and the steps we’re taking to ensure the safety and security of the country. The investigation’s ongoing. And I spoke again this morning with Attorney General Eric Holder, the secretary of homeland security, Janet Napolitano, and my counterterrorism and homeland security adviser, John Brennan. I asked them to keep — continue monitoring the situation to keep the American people and members of Congress informed.

Did he say the “T” word… is that legal? And to top that off he spoke to Tweedle Dee Holder and Tweedle Dumb Napolitano and we’re suppose to be impressed, how’s that Janet Incompitano working out for you Ears? “It was a success…no wait, it was a failure”… oops… were these terrorist right-wing extremist or veterans? Thought we forgot about that didn’t you? Talk about somebody screaming to be fired, dammit Janet quit while you have a shred of dignity left.

Here’s what we know so far: On Christmas Day, Northwest Airlines Flight 253 was en route from Amsterdam, Netherlands, to Detroit. As the plane made its final approach to Detroit Metropolitan Airport, a passenger allegedly tried to ignite an explosive device on his body, setting off a fire.

Allegedly? Allegedly?? This terrorist did it you pinhead and there was witnesses and website posting about it and you say “allegedly” what are you a president or a defense attorney for the accused? And on Christmas Day… how about “On Christmas Day the holiest of days in the Christian calendar” how about we call it what it is a terrorist attack on the Holiest day in the Christian calendar… remember this when Urkle makes his remarks later in the dribble on Iran.

Thanks to the quick and heroic actions of passengers and crew, the suspect was immediately subdued, the fire was put out, and the plane landed safely. The suspect is now in custody and has been charged with attempting to destroy an aircraft.

Thanks to the failure of airport security he got on the plane without a passport, without luggage on a 2 week trip and he paid cash for his ticket… he did everything but wear a sign that said “I’m a terrorist.” and you charged him with “attempting to destroy a aircraft”… is that a real charge? I think that’s made up. Here’s an idea how about charging him with nearly 300 counts of attempted murder?

A full investigation has been launched into this attempted act of terrorism, and we will not rest until we find all who were involved and hold them accountable.

Then what is your ass doing on vacation resting for then? And why don’t you ask the question why the U.S. approved the passenger list?
US Approved Flight 253 Passenger List, Source Says

Now, this was a serious reminder of the dangers that we face and the nature of those who threaten our homeland. Had the suspect succeeded in bringing down that plane, it could have killed nearly 300 passengers and crew, innocent civilians preparing to celebrate the holidays with their families and friends.

Thank you Captain Obvious did you figure that one out all by yourself Sherlock?

The American people should be assured that we are doing everything in our power to keep you and your family safe and secure during this busy holiday season.

And any American with any sense at all doesn’t buy that for a second.

Since I was first notified of this incident, I’ve ordered the following actions to be taken to protect the American people and to secure air travel.

First noticed? Was that what 3 days after it happened? You staff woke you up in the middle of the night to tell you about the undeserved Nobel Peace Prize and then they waited 3 hours to tell you about the attack… yeah I feel really safe now with so many buffoons at the wheel.

First, I directed that we take immediate steps to ensure the safety of the traveling public. We made sure that all flights still in the air were secure and could land safely. We immediately enhanced screening and security procedures for all flights, domestic and international. We added federal air marshals to flights entering and leaving the United States. And we’re working closely in this country, federal, state and local law enforcement, with our international partners.

Let not forget your DHS decided to not allow books, magazine, laptops or blanket in their lap a hour before the flight lands in addition to banning bathroom visits within the same time frame… which means a terrorist will just go the bathroom a little earlier to arm a explosive. Genius! Look Out!!!! He’s got a blanket!! Oh thank God I thought it might have been explosive panties.

Second, I’ve ordered two important reviews, because it’s absolutely critical that we learn from this incident and take the necessary measures to prevent future acts of terrorism.

You haven’t learned anything yet, why start now?

The first review involves our watch list system, which our government has had in place for many years to identify known and suspected terrorists so that we can prevent their entry into the United States. Apparently the suspect in the Christmas incident was in this system, but not on a watch list, such as the so-called no-fly list. So I have ordered a thorough review, not only of how information related to the subject was handled, but also of the overall watch list system and how it can be strengthened.

He was on a watch list and this is a veiled attempt to blame Bush… you’re the President so the question is why didn’t you do something yourself? By accepting the list as-is is to say you have no problems with the list as it was, so stop passing blame and from what I understand to get on the do-not fly list you just about have to show up at the airport with an exposed dynamite necklace.
UPDATE: Seem the Obama government knew about this threat and did nothing.

The second review will examine all screening policies, technologies and procedures related to air travel. We need to determine just how the suspect was able to bring dangerous explosives aboard an aircraft and what additional steps we can take to thwart future attacks.

Why don’t you talk to your buddies at the ACLU and their invasion of privacy lawsuits on full body screens?

Third, I’ve directed my national security team to keep up the pressure on those who would attack our country. We do not yet have all the answers about this latest attempt, but those who would slaughter innocent men, women and children must know that the United States will more — do more than simply strengthen our defenses. We will continue to use every element of our national power to disrupt, to dismantle and defeat the violent extremists who threaten us, whether they are from Afghanistan or Pakistan, Yemen or Somalia, or anywhere where they are plotting attacks against the U.S. homeland.

Third? You said two reviews now this is three… learn to count dumbass. And as far as keeping up the pressure… please send all the requested troops needed to where ever they are needed and take the damn gloves off. And do you think anyone actually believes that? You are a weak indecisive surrender monkey who is in why over your head. Here’s a tactic they kill or attempt to kill just one of ours we kill 100 of there’s… that’s a Chicago way. Man – grow a spine.

Finally, the American people should remain vigilant, but also be confident. Those plotting against us seek not only to undermine our security, but also the open society and the values that we cherish as Americans. This incident, like several that have preceded it, demonstrates that an alert and courageous citizenry are far more resilient than an isolated extremist.

Isolated extremist? Please you pandering Islam sympathist ass wipe. He is an Al Qaeda terrorist list on Al Qaeda websites, claimed by Al Qeada and you call it “isolated” … pathetic you pandering ****!

As a nation, we will do everything in our power to protect our country. As Americans, we will never give in to fear or division. We will be guided by our hopes, our unity, and our deeply held values. That’s who we are as Americans; that’s what our brave men and women in uniform are standing up for as they spend the holidays in harm’s way. And we will continue to do everything that we can to keep America safe in the new year and beyond.

Everything in our power huh? How are those boarders looking for you?

Before I leave, let me also briefly address the events that have taken place over the last few days in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The United States joins with the international community in strongly condemning the violent and unjust suppression of innocent Iranian citizens, which has apparently resulted in detentions, injuries, and even death.

Oh finally used the word ISLAMIC… still haven’t heard the word MUSLIM which he was and now you only use it as a nation name… and telling Iran you “strongly condemn” … please do you really believe Iran gives a rat’s ass what you think? Obama you are as a big of a joke in Iran as you are here, really you should go on tour again.

For months, the Iranian people have sought nothing more than to exercise their universal rights. Each time they have done so, they have been met with the iron fist of brutality, even on solemn occasions and holy days. And each time that has happened, the world has watched with deep admiration for the courage and the conviction of the Iranian people who are part of Iran’s great and enduring civilization.

“Great and enduring civilization” since 1935 before that it was Persia you so-called college professor… I’d give it little more time before I called it “enduring.” And recall I ask you to remember the Christmas Day comment… Urkle said “even on solemn occasions and holy days” in regards to Islam but Christmas is just a holiday… you know kind of like Labor Day that holiest day of the year for Unions.

What’s taking place within Iran is not about the United States or any other country. It’s about the Iranian people and their aspirations for justice and a better life for themselves. And the decision of Iran’s leaders to govern through fear and tyranny will not succeed in making those aspirations go away.

Again with the Captain Obvious garbage… do you point out the obvious just to hear yourself talk? I believe you do. (Side note: Listen to Obama speeches sometimes and you’ll see he does this all the time. He will make some ‘no shit Sherlock’ statements just to drag out his ad nauseam speeches with often sound like he is talking to 3rd graders which I believe he thinks we are… the great unwashed.)

As I said in Oslo, it’s telling when governments fear the aspirations of their own people more than the power of any other nation. Along with all free nations, the United States stands with those who seek their universal rights. We call upon the Iranian government to abide by the international obligations that it has to respect the rights of its own people.

Oh kind of like your administration fears the tea partiers? And as far as your calls to Iran go, they are laughing at you… you’re a joke to them as you are to us.

We call for the immediate release of all who have been unjustly detained within Iran. We will continue to bear witness to the extraordinary events that are taking place there. And I’m confident that history will be on the side of those who seek justice.

I agree ‘history will be on the side of those who seek justice’ it will be served in Nov 2010 and 2012 and you; Urkle will be history.

Thank you very much, everybody. And happy new year.

I’m sure that in November it will be very, very happy year.

Who’s going to get the Iranian Hostages?

amerhost

Iran Hostage Crisis - November 4, 1979 to January 20, 1981

So Slick Willie flew over the North Korea to meet up with the pot-bellied Kim Jong Il and get the two moron journalist that went to North Korea where American aren’t exactly popular. Laura Ling and Euna Lee both employed by Al Gore were accused of sneaking into the country illegally in March and engaging in unspecified “hostile acts”. Now I glad they are safe but they should have never been there to begin with so I’m not to get all mushy over there rescue, release whatever… play with fire you are going to get burned. I’m just one of those people that calls stupid; stupid and that was just stupid.

Now there are three more moron that were hiking along the Iran/Iraq boarder because there are no hiking trails in the US it would seem and these idgits got lost and ended up in Iran and they were caught. Now who is going to go rescue them?? Hmmm? I wonder… I think Jimmy Carter would be a good choice, he has a pretty stellar track record with rescuing American hostages in Iran doesn’t he? Anyone remember Operation Eagle Claw?

Oh and for the younger or history challenged readers… CLICK HERE!

Here is the deal this is a big planet so why on earth (get it ‘on earth’… anyway) would you go hiking along the Iranian boarder? Are they morons? Are they spies? If so they aren’t very good spies, so I’m going with that ‘they are morons’ that thought it would be really cool to hike close to the “danger zone” and now they are in danger. I say leave them there… probably dumb ass liberals anyway it sounds like something they’d do… likely looking for poppy plants. It’s one thing if you are working at a embassy and get taken hostage it’s something completely different if you can’t read a damn map.

Obama votes “Present”

Yes harking back to his days as a Senator, Obama votes present on Iran to afraid, to chicken to take one side r the other. Obama says Iranian people can “speak for themselves.” and “What’s happened in Iran is profound and we’re still waiting to see how it plays itself out,”

Still waiting how it plays out? What kind of candy-ass non answer is that? That’s the answer of a wimp and pansy that’s afraid to take a stand.

“This is not about the United States and the West. This is about the people of Iran, and the future that they, and only they, will choose,” Obama said.

Really? Then why are most of the damn signs in English? Surely other know beside me that Obama is way out of his league on foreign policy.. he’s clueless. He is what I said months ago before he took office clearly not qualified to be president.

Obama: ‘Not Too Late’ for Iranian Government to Peacefully Resolve Unrest

But the White House left open the possibility Tuesday that it would intervene should the violence in Tehran escalate.

“Obviously if a tremendous escalation happens — if tanks happen — we would respond to that immediately,” Gibbs said.

Bullcrap, I don’t believe that for a minute. Reports say several 100 if not over 1000 have been killed in Iran according to several reports, what do you call that Gibbs? Is that not a escalation? Oh yeah they shot them with small arms fire and not tanks… well that makes all the difference, right? …. Right?

Obama still weak and timid on Iran

iranAs the violence against the citizens and protester in Iran grows stronger… Obama remains on the bench uttering only weak and timid statements from the sideline.

Obama is continuing his call for a restrained U.S. response to Iran’s post-election protests as pressure mounts from the GOP for him to “lead” by declaring his support for the country’s pro-reform demonstrations.

However, Obama who is always fearful and disdainful of any criticism claims he doesn’t want to be seen as meddling in Iran’s affairs. Well this matters little since Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has already accused the US of meddling in Iran affairs which should come as no surprise to anyone, so what’s the hold up other than being a political pansy. So what has Obama got to loose? Nothing, but the spineless Obama remains silent making only vague or bland comments regarding the protest in Iran to afraid, to chicken to take a stand.

Remember Obama is not going to make any statement he can’t easily and quickly escape from or he’ll make one statement himself and have his minions (ABC, CBS et al) make another to cover all his bases, this is typical of Obama to leave himself a escape route from any responsibility. The problem Obama is having right now is that his lack of fortitude to take a stand as he can’t blame Bush and this is causing Obama quite the problem as he might actually have to take responsibility for something.

Obama and his weak and timid statement are embarrassing, it’s pretty sad when France and Germany are making for stern statements than America does regarding the fight for freedom.

Hey Obama… what would Reagan do? You can bet your ass he wouldn’t be on the sidelines.

A note to those in Iran fighting and dying for freedom let me say I see your fight, I support your fight and I see you signs in English and I’m sorry that the American presidents is a weak, spineless, passive wimp. I support you and I know many that do.

I’ve made my point, Obama is weak. But what he doesn’t seem to get is that those fighting for freedom today could very well be leading Iran tomorrow and those folks would like want to have normal relations with the west, with Israel and those folk are likely not fund terrorism and group like Hamas, but Obama to worried about his image to take a stand.

Obama a puppy on the porch

irangreen

I have a friend in Sari, Iran – I last spoke to him about 2 years ago. We talked about everything from scale models to music to the war in Iraq to what is Iran like to live in to what is America like to live in, to food… he had a personal website that he wrote of freedom, equality, expression and liberty, I enjoyed our conversations and his name was Saeed (the best I remember).

One day his website and online presents just vanished, he just disappeared and I haven’t heard from him since, I sent e-mails, forum messages and nothing, I never received a reply… one can only speculate what happened to him, he did speak out strongly against the Iranian leadership. At first I didn’t give it much thought, people vanish online all the time, people come and people go that’s the way it is on the net, we know someone online for a while this poof one day, gone.

But somehow this seemed different, Saeed wanted freedom in a oppressive country and liberty he spoke out and he said what was wrong with country (much like what I do with mine), he wanted what we in America take of granted and I have no idea if he had to flee his country or if he was imprisoned, kill or silenced for his beliefs, but he always said there was a chance that would happen that he would just vanish, but he didn’t care as the fight was greater then himself. I never give it much thought, until it happened and it was only a passing though and I moved on.

Today the fight has come to a head, the Iranian people are fighting for freedom, fight for themselves and their children, fighting for liberty. Fighting for fairness and for a voice, fighting for representation.

…but Obama does nothing. Obama talks a empty game and ignores the call for action and support, Obama does nothing more than to show his weakness, his indecisiveness, his cowardices, his spinelessness. Obama says he doesn’t want to “meddle” when the truth is he doesn’t want to take a stand, to have a backbone, to be a leader. The big dogs are saying bark, bite and lead the pack when the truth be known Obama is nothing more than a puppy on the porch.

I for one support the people of Iran, I support their cause, their sacrifice. All they want is democracy, all they want is freedom, all they want is the support of the west and America and Obama does nothing. I’d meddle in their busy, you’re going to be accused of it anyway, might as will do something if you are going to be charged.

Hey Obama you worm why not tell Neda you don’t want to meddle….

In case you are wondering, you watched her die for freedom and you received the same warning she did… none. These are things you need to see, real people being shot with real bullets in a fight for real freedom. Revolution is never pretty, never clean and never without cost.

Neda identified? Update: New details

Word on the street via one Iranian tweeter is that her name was Neda Agha Soltan. That’s also the name circulating on a few websites and now being attributed to her in a hastily arranged Wikipedia bio. The rumor — and it’s all rumor until some newspaper tracks down her family — is that she was 27 years old and a philosophy student. I hope to god this isn’t really her photo because the thought of her being so beautiful and dignified makes the murder somehow that much more obscene.
