What if you only made $246.90 a week?

First of all the way business has been in my little depressed area I’d call $246.90 a week a good week and I’m not joking … but I digress.

So let’s say you make only $246.90 a week … but you are spending $379.55 a week and you owe the bank $1,673.20 – I’m guessing you’d say you had a problem! After all you are spending $132.65 more than you make and according to the bank you’ve been doing it for a while and not making any effort to pay down your debt.

You’ve asked your boss for more money, but your boss is tapped out and you just can’t keep putting it on a credit card, so what to do?

Cut your expenses right? You start spending less, you look at the places you are wasting money and you stop because you know your debt is a ticking time bomb.

Well that is the Federal government, I’ve just moved the decimal points to make the numbers a little graspable … we take in $2.469 Trillion in revenue… the government is spending $3.795 Trillion and we have $16.732 Trillion in debt and the tax payer (i.e. the boss) is tapped out … after all the bosses expenses has gone up and they’re not making more money so it’s not possible for them to share the wealth … there is none to share.

But Obama and many in congress including some Republicans don’t see this deficit spending as a problem and sadly the numbers are so big that most people can’t get their minds around it. After all there was a report recently that 80% of the kids leaving high school can’t effectively read and write, how do you expect them to grasp trillion dollar debts and trillion dollar spending and that in reality this money has to be paid back and that you just can’t declare bankruptcy and start over without a complete collapse of the system.

So what to do? They will not spot spending, raising taxes will do nothing but kill the economy deader than it is now… perhaps it’s time we just stop giving them money. Treat them like a crackhead and cut them off from their addiction. I think it’s getting to the point to where that is all they will understand.

Are you a Libertarian? Part 1

I’ve long said I’m a Libertarian – oh I’ve got the crazy libs calling me a Repubtard or a NeoCon which just goes to show you how little research they do before they start throwing stones at me. So let me tell you now that in my opinion I’m a Libertarian and I was one for a long time before I knew I was one … so are you one too? Odds are you are more Libertarian than you think.

Now for the record I live in Kentucky … you know Rand Paul country and Rand represents the prevailing view of most Kentuckians, sadly most Kentuckians are Democrats even though they vote Republicans … old habits die hard. Anyway like Rand in Kentucky if you want to run for anything, vote for anything you have to be registered in one of the two major parties. See the GOP has many times introduced legislation for open elections but the libtards in the Democrat control House block it – I could go into a long list of reason why but in short it’s about party control as I think people would leave the Democrats in mass with open elections and most would call themselves “independents.”

Anyway …

What is a Libertarian? Well you could click that link and read about it on the Libertarian FAQ page. But I’ll tell you what it is to me.

The main belief to me is PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY – I will help those that cannot help themselves. the disabled, the infirm, the elderly, but I refuse to help the clueless and lazy. Screw them they’ll either starve or get up off their ass and find a job. See I believe government handout enable people to be lazy and why work when you can be paid to set on your butt? Self pride, like chivalry is dead for many people.

So let’s go down the list of some Libertarian beliefs …

First one that is often associated with Libertarians … DRUGS! The common belief is all Libertarians want all drug legal. Well this is not entirely correct and since I can’t speak for everyone I’ll speak for me – it all goes back to PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY – if you want to do drugs, then do it … BUT don’t come looking to me to bail you out, pay for your rehab, pay for your housing, pay for anything. It’s your life and if you screw it up it’s on you and you pay for your screw ups.

Well Dave… what about the children, the sweet innocent little children of these free wheeling crack whore druggies? Are you just going to let them starve and die in the street? (see you are a Republicans said in a Libtard voice) NO! NO! NO! But the solution is simple and full of common sense -  if you are not fit to raise yourself then you are not fit to raise your children and there are plenty of people that are willing and able to do it. If that wasn’t the case then we wouldn’t have so many adopted children from Asia or the former Soviet Union and Central and South America … seems to me there is a child shortage in the US among responsible want to be parents. Good gawd do we have to import our children too? I think not!

Other issues are the size of government … anti-Libertarians like Juan McLame, Lindsey Gramnasty and the rest of the Democrat Party will try to tell you that Libertarians do not want any government at all … none, zero, zip, nada. The Libertarians want anarchy – this too is untrue. Government is here of protect the country, build the interstate infrastructure and issue the most general of regulations and nothing close to the micro-manage regulation gigantic government we have today. General regulations like one person, one vote and take non-partisan measures to insure that. Protection like actually securing the boarder and if it pisses Mexico (and Canada) off – to damn bad. We put country first, not what other countries think first. I don’t care what other countries think we have problems at home that need to be dealt with and I really don’t care what China, Europe, Russia, Mexico or anyone else thinks about it.

Another misbelief is “isolationism” – many wold tell you (Juan McLame) that the Libertarian kids want to take out toys and go home, pull the blinds and close the door. This too is bullshit – we live in a global economy that we’ve let the world walk all over us for years. It’s time we bring jobs home and sell out stuff to them instead of our jobs going there just so we can buy them back. Libtards talk about a level playing field for all while they cripple our economy with burdensome regulation, taxation, rules and a overall government hostility to business. I say free up the market and let demand and desire rule the day … how you ask? No minimum wage … minimum wage is nothing but a detriment to the wage price spiral and anyone with a basic understanding gets that if you increase the baseline wage then the baseline price of goods with go out … since places like China and India do not have a baseline wage they can beat us all day long in the wholesale market. Now I don’t think we should hire workers at 50 cents a day slaving away for 18 hours a day in unhealthy conditions, but what I do think is that the market should set the price if someone is willing to work for $5.00 or $4.00 an hour or less then let them and if a employer can’t find people to work for those wages then they’ll have to pay more it’s called the free market. It’s simple economics and I don’t expect the libtards to understand it …

Well this is going to take more time and space than I thought so this is the end of Part 1 … stay tuned for Part 2 in a few days.

Obama: The Sequester I signed into law will cost America 100′s of 1000′s of job, but I’m blaming the GOP.

Obama: The Sequester I signed into law will cost America 100′s of 1000′s of job, but I’m blaming the GOP.

Obama: Sequester cuts will cost hundreds of thousands of jobs

President Obama sought to sound the alarm on sequester cuts once again and blame Congress for failing to avert them as the clock ticks down on their implementation.

Starting next Friday, he said, the cuts will cost hundreds of thousands of jobs and excoriate the economy. They were never designed to happen, he said.

“This was all designed to say ‘We can’t do these bad cuts, we need to do something smarter,’” Obama said at a White House event.

He was flanked by first responders whose ability to help in emergencies will be “degraded,” Obama said. The president said the sequester cuts will affect military readiness, weaken federal law enforcement and across the nation, cause thousands of teachers to be laid off.

“Here’s the thing,” Obama said. “They don’t have to happen.”

With Congress in recess this week, it’s unclear what progress will be made, if any. But the president suggested he’s ready to work something out, provided the solution includes both spending cuts and tax revenues.

“My door is open,” he said, but cautioned “deficit reduction is not an economic plan.”

Whoa wait what was that last bit … “deficit reduction is not an economic plan.” … since when? Isn’t rule once of a household budget is to take in more than your spend and reduce spending if you have deficit spending? I’d call that a economic plan …

The Fiscal Cliff is Obama’s wet dream…

McConnell ‘Burst Into Laughter’ as Geithner Outlined Obama’s Plan

Mitch McConnell, the Senate Republican leader, says he “burst into laughter” Thursday when Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner outlined the administration proposal for averting the fiscal cliff. He wasn’t trying to embarrass Geithner, McConnell says, only responding candidly to his one-sided plan, explicit on tax increases, vague on spending cuts.

McConnell should laugh – this is the same damn stunt the Democrats pull all the time. Tax now and cut spending later … but later never comes. Te Democrats always make promises for some far off date the neither comes because they make a promises for a future congress that is not obligated to keep it.

Frankly, I think Obama and the Democrats want the country to go over the fiscal cliff – they want chaos and anarchy to seize more power. There is no way in hell we can ever pay off the debt and the unfunded liability is over a $100 trillion – the country is going to default on it’s debt, it is a ticking time bomb that I don’t think can be defused. The democrats could care less if this country goes up in flames it’s their wet dream that it does so they can install some third world despot government.

The government right now – all of them need to go – as long as we have more takers than payers it’s only going to get worse and the Democrats want a nation of takers – because what is given can be taken away and with that you can control people.

So in my opinion the Republican should call Obama’s bluff … pushing him to the edge and if it all fails, if it goes of the edge it will be his fault for not offering any real solutions.

Taxpayers spent $1.4 billion on Obama family last year, perks questioned in new book

Posted By Alex Pappas On 11:32 PM 09/26/2012 @ 11:32 PM In DC Exclusives – Original Reporting,Featured,Politics

Taxpayers spent $1.4 billion dollars on everything from staffing, housing, flying and entertaining President Obama and his family last year, according to the author of a new book on taxpayer-funded presidential perks.

In comparison, British taxpayers spent just $57.8 million on the royal family.

Author Robert Keith Gray writes in “Presidential Perks Gone Royal” that Obama isn’t the only president to have taken advantage of the expensive trappings of his office. But the amount of money spent on the first family, he argues, has risen tremendously under the Obama administration and needs to be reined in.

Gray told The Daily Caller that the $1.4 billion spent on the Obama family last year is the “total cost of the presidency,” factoring the cost of the “biggest staff in history at the highest wages ever,” a 50 percent increase in the numbers of appointed czars and an Air Force One “running with the frequency of a scheduled air line.”

“The most concerning thing, I think, is the use of taxpayer funds to actually abet his re-election,” Gray, who worked in the Eisenhower administration and for other Republican presidents, said in an interview with TheDC on Wednesday.

“The press has been so slow in picking up on this extraordinary increase in the president’s expenses,” Gray told TheDC. (RELATED: Five shocking truths about Michelle Obama)

Specifically, Gray said taxpayer dollars are subsidizing Obama’s re-election effort when he uses Air Force One to jet across the country campaigning.

When the trip is deemed political, it’s customary for the president to pay the equivalent of a first class commercial ticket for certain passengers. But Gray says that hardly covers the taxpayer cost of flying the president and his staffers around on Air Force One.

“When the United States’ billion-dollar air armada is being used politically, is it fair to taxpayers that we only be reimbursed by the president’s campaign committee for the value of one first-class commercial ticket for each passenger who is deemed aboard ‘for political purposes?’” Gray asks in the book.

“And is that bargain-price advantage fair to those opposing an incumbent president?” (SEE ALSO: Millions of taxpayer dollars used for Disney World conference)

In the book, Gray admits Americans want their president to be safe and comfortable but argues the system should be reformed to stop the amount of unquestioned perks given to the president.

“There is no mechanism for anyone’s objection if a president were to pay his chief of staff $5,000,000 a year,” he told TheDC. “And nothing but a president’s conscience can dissuade him from buying his own reelection with use of some public money.”

Aside from a salary, the president gets a $50,000 a year expense account, a $100,000 travel account, $19,000 entertainment budget and an additional million for “unanticipated needs,” he notes.

Here is a sample of other pricey taxpayer funded perks exclusively reserved for the president:

The president can to appoint high-paid staffers without Senate confirmation: Obama has 469 senior staffers and 226 are paid more than $100,000 a year, according to the book. Seventy-seven are paid as much as $172,000 per year. He also has appointed 43 “czars.”

The president can vacation for free at Camp David: Gray writes that each round trip made to Camp David costs the taxpayers $25,350. It’s also estimated that the combined transportation and personnel costs for a Camp David visit are $295,000 per night.

The president has a full-time movie projectionist in the White House theater: Projectionists sleep at the White House and are there 24 hours a day in case anyone needs to see a movie. “Compared to the 450 times President Carter used the movie theater in his four years in the White House, the average American citizen, according to industry statistics, goes out to see a movie slightly less than five times a year,” Gray writes.

The president’s family’s gets certain travel and security expenses paid while vacationing: “First Lady Michelle Obama drew flack from the media and irate citizens when it was disclosed that, not counting Saturdays and Sundays, she spent 42 days on vacation — within the span of one year.”

The president’s dog gets its own high-paid staffer: “Bo made the news when he and his handler were flown to join the president on vacation in Maine,” Gray wrote about the Obama family dog. “It has been reported that the first family’s dog handler was paid $102,000, last year.”

Seriously a around the clock projectionist just IN CASE the dumbass wants to watch a movie? It time we start drilling home to him adoring masses what an elitist this asshat really is … but somehow I doubt it would matter, they’re just to stupid to get it. We taxpayers spent $1,400,000,000.00 on his extravagant life style … the British Royal family only cost the British taxpayer (subjects if you will) $57,800,00.00 … a mere fraction of the cost og Obama’s Family.

That needs to change…

3 days to vote Obama out…

The National Debt January 2009 when Bush left office was:

$10,669,804,864,612.13

That covered 233 years of spending – too much any way you slice it.

Today the debt is…

$16,043,291,621,456.00

Of course in the time it takes me to post this we’ll have blown past this number…

http://www.usdebtclock.org/

That is over $5.5 TRILLION racked up by Obama is less than 4 years with nothing to show for it but more debt.

Report: Welfare government’s single largest budget item in FY 2011 at approx…
$1,030,000,000,000.00

This $1,030,000,000,000.00 does NOT included Social Security, Veteran benefits or Medicare.

The government spent approximately $1.03 trillion on 83 means-tested federal welfare programs in fiscal year 2011 alone — a price tag that makes welfare that year the government’s largest expenditure, according to new data released by the Republican side of the Senate Budget Committee.

The total sum taxpayers spent on federal welfare programs was derived from a new Congressional Research Service (CRS) report on federal welfare spending — which topped out at $745.84 billion for fiscal year 2011 — combined with an analysis from the Republican Senate Budget Committee staff of state spending on federal welfare programs (based on “The Oxford Handbook of State and Local Government Finance”), which reached $282.7 billion in fiscal year 2011.

The data excludes spending on Social Security, Medicare, means-tested health care for veterans without service-connected disabilities, and the means-tested veterans pension program.

Welfare spending jumps 32% in four years

The steady rise in welfare spending, which covers more than 80 programs primarily designed to help low-income Americans, got a big boost from the 2009 stimulus and has grown, albeit somewhat more slowly, in 2010 and 2011. One reason is that more people are qualifying in the weak economy, but the federal governmentalso has broadened eligibility so that more people qualify for programs.

We can’t continue to pay over trillion dollars a years on people to set around.

Liberal Economics = BAD!

For Every $1 Added to the Economy, Obama Added More Than $3 in Debt

Since Obama has taken office ….
[through Q2 2012 for comparative purposes]

–> For every $1 added to the economy, we’ve added more than $3 in debt

–> added $5.23 trillion in debt vs. $1.68 trillion to the economy
–> 50% increase in debt vs. 12% increase in economic output

Total Public Debt:

$10,626T [Jan 20, 2009]
$15,856T [Jun 30, 2012]

–> $5.23 trillion increase in debt

[source: Treasury Dept]

……

GDP

$13,923T [Q1 2009]
$15,606T [Q2 2012]

–> $1.68 trillion increase in GDP

[source: BEA]

On my planet this doesn’t work – Obama has normalized the word trillion and this is not good. When I was a kid and heard about a billion in debt it seemed like a huge gazillion type number – a number I couldn’t get my mind around now today we speak of billion as if it’s is nothing and a trillion is becoming just as normal. I don’t think most people gasp the size of a trillion – lucky for you long ago I told you just how much is a trillion.

That’s change you can believe in.

Now it might happen again…

Moody’s expects to cut US rating without deal to lower debt/GDP ratio

But I guess that’s Bush’s fault right?
WRONG – It’s Obama’s.
