Double Standards…

We all know what Rush called Fluke no need to beat that dead horse and we all know the Liberal outrage, the calls to his advertisers, the demands he be pulled from the air etc etc…

But did you know Ed Schulz called Laura Ingraham a slut on the air?

The liberals never said a word…

Did you know Bill Mahar called Sarah Palin a bimbo, a twat, a cunt et al – he did many times.

And the liberals never said a word.

Maher also called Michelle Bachmann a slut, a bitch, a cunt and a twat.

Still the liberals never said a word

Anyone remember Jerry Brown’s staff calling Meg Whitman a whore?

Nope because the liberals never said a thing.

Remember when Playboy wrote an article on the top 10 conservative women that deserved to be “hate-f*cked”

Did the liberals cry foul, out of line? Not a word.

This very short list of a long list of liberal hypocrisy could go on for pages up to and including liberal women demeaning conservative one…

And still the liberals never say a word.

More here…

The Debate and my quick take on it…

Well I watched the debate last night and here are a few of my thoughts, First I’m not endorsing anyone and no one is lighting my fire as of right now so I’ll list some of what I found wrong with each one…

Rick Perry – I have a serious problem with his position on immigration – I get it he has a butt load of illegals in Texas, but I don’t think giving them in state tuition is how you deal with it. Other things I generally like about him but his immigration policy will take him down more so than he Executive Order on the HPV immunization. I’m not all that sure he is going to stand up to the light of day – I liked him at first but he has some issues. I don’t have a problem with him being a former Democrat, hell I use to be a Democrat for years… nearly always voted Republican just took me a long time to change parties.

Mitt Romney – Aside from his albatross of RomneyCare… Mitt just seems too slick, too smooth he avoided the “Is Obama a Socialist?” question and for a guy that says he is not a life long politician that was a 100% political dodge on that question, I want questions answered and don’t give me the political run around. Most of the candidate pulled this political dodge trick at some point in during the debate so he is not the only one. I’m just not sure Romney is a conservative at hart.

Michelle Backmann – Bachmann has made to many incorrect statements in the course of this campaign for me to take her seriously, fact check, fact check, fact check Michelle it’s not that hard. She just doesn’t do it and pops off with out checking the facts. She didn’t get a lot of face time last night and she side nothing that got my attention… face it she is just boring and it’s hard to listen to her, kind of like Gary Johnson. I wouldn’t want to go camping with either one.

Gary Johnson – Besides stealing a joke from the Rush Limbaugh (actually I’d heard it else where before) he is as dry as mummy farts and between him and Ron Paul they are making Libertarians look like kooks. He repeatedly said he’d put a balanced budget into effect his first year in office by cutting spending 43%! I’d love to see that happen but good luck getting that past a spend happy congress.

Ron Paul – On domestic and financial issues Paul is generally on target, but on international affairs he is all over the board and I just think he would be a foreign policy disaster. American still has to big of a role on the international stage to withdraw into isolationism just like that – it would through the world into chaos. Paul has a lot of very loyal Paulie that are as obsessed with him as the Palinistas are for her.

Herman Cain – his 9-9-9 plan sounds interesting but I’d have to see the numbers on it before I signed onto it and running a pizza chain is a bit different from running a country and I’m not sure the $9.99 gimmick will work. I think is in the same place as Paul on foreign policy just doesn’t know enough… I’d stack my foreign policy knowledge against his any day. I like Cain he has some good idea.

Jon Huntsman – Anyone the liberals keep talking about as a good choice or the person Obama should be afraid of I get a red flag and like Johnson he is so low in the polls I pay little attention to him… really can you trust a guy that worked for Obama as Ambassador to China? I do like some of his ideas on healthcare but that’s about it.

Rick Santorum – I am sorry I’ve never liked Santorum, if you support him then tell me why – because I tune him out. I couldn’t tell you one thing he said last night. He just annoys me.

Newt Gingrich – What can you say about Newt that hasn’t been said? His presidential ship sailed long ago. Newt is smart, he is quick on his mental feet and he has a vast wealth of knowledge – but Newt is a old school establishment republican that will say what ever he thinks you want to hear. He knows how to fire up the folks but can he be trusted? I don’t know, I’d have to ask his ex-wife.

A lot of folks are still talking about Christi and Palin… well shit or get off the pot. I don’t think Christi is going to run and Palin is playing this maybe I will, maybe I wont game and folk that aren’t Palinistas are growing tired of it.. Sarah you are either in or your out make up your damn mind… in or out?

So there you have it… no one right now is setting my world on fire. I will tell you this, I will vote and it will not be for Obama.

Religion and Politics

It has always been said that religion and politics makes strange bed fellows – it is also said you should never talk about either. Well I’m going to – if you’ve read this blog for any amount of time you likely know I rarely ever bring up or talk about religion and that’s because I believe religion is personal and unique to each and every person and it doesn’t matter what you say about it somebody is not going to be happy and they will either pray for your soul or resign you to the fiery the depths. Religion is far more of volatile a subject than politics every thought about being.

Politics, generally falls into one faith regardless of party – the belief that if it’s not broke, Washington can break it, how it gets broke is a matter of party but it will be broken.

As for religion – I don’t know why the Republican party always gets trapped in to these religious debates all the time – like Rick Perry with the child abusing libtard using her kid as a hand puppet to ask about creationism verses Darwinism, frankly it’s non of her damn business what he thinks. I want a president that can create jobs and fix the economy – not one to settle the chicken or the egg debate it just doesn’t matter.

They tried to sucker Michelle Bachmann into a ‘how do you feel about gays’ debate – I don’t care how Michele Backmann feels about gays unless somehow the gay issue fixes the economy and gets this country back on sound fiscal ground. It doesn’t matter!

The liberals are trying to make an issue out of Romney being a Mormon – they said that the Christians would never go for that – do what? Mormons are Christian’s they are just like the Catholics… they have a Bible with a few extra books. So what! It just doesn’t matter!

Barack Obama when to a radical Black Liberation Theology church that preached “God damn America” and I find that far more offensive than the creationism, gay rights and Mormon debate but the MSM let him slide on it and he was rarely questioned. When his preacher got even to radical for Obama, he threw him under the bus all while saying “Oh yeah I sat in his church for 20 years, but I never really listened.” A church that teaches hate of America, of racism, of class warfare is far more dangerous than one teaching creationism, gay lifestyle or is Mormon in my book any day.

And sometime the Bible thumpers on the right really annoy me to the point I have to say to them… this elections is about spending and constitutional government, not freaking theology. I like my hardcore Bible buddies and I’ll talk religion and the philosophy and mythology of it all day long – just don’t make it a campaign issue of it – it’s like playing with matches wear doused in gasoline, stupid.

But for what ever reason the Republics get sucked into these stupid Biblical debates every time… and frankly I don’t think America as a whole really give a rip all that much about the social issues other than the amount of spending they incur on the taxpayer. Do you honestly care if someone is gay? Do you honestly care if some believes in evolution over creationism? Does it effect your life in any way, shape or form? Do you care if your President is Mormon, Christian, Jewish or Atheist as long as the well being and security of the country is being met and they are keeping government out of your life?

This issues of religion are nothing but distractions from the greater concerns – we need the debt addressed, we need the spending addressed, we need job created, we need cost of goods and services to be affordable and I don’t give a rats ass if you have to pray to Aqua Buddha to make it happen just do it.

The Republicans need to stop taking the bait every time a liberal idiots tries to trap them with some “gotcha” bullshit religious question and just state that their religious views are just like everyone elses personally unique and private – next question please.

Will it prompt more questions? Sure it will but if you never take the bait, they’ll stop fishing.
