Prof. Andrew Boran (Kirk Scott) is a research scientist who discovers strange radio signals coming from outer space that appear to originate from earth. These strange signals seem to predict natural disasters that are occurring around the earth. When he and his wife (Sue Lyon) decide to investigate, they find themselves held captive in a convent that’s been infiltrated by aliens with plans to destroy the world. As Father Pergad and as the alien leader Zindar (Christopher Lee) explains, that the earth is a hotbed of disease that cannot be permitted to continue polluting the galaxy.
