Obama repeatedly say that we are “in the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression”.

Unemployment currently is 7.6% … in 1992 it was 7.8% in 1982 it was 10.8% … in the Great Depression 24.9% … how about a little research fear monger Obama?

Obama wants to blame George W. Bush for the economic “crisis” … what Obama doesn’t tell you is the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) of 1977 under Jimmy Carter and enhanced under Bill Clinton forced banks to give loans to people they knew couldn’t afford them under penalty of law. Obama himself was part of a lawsuit that sued CitiBank to give loans to noncredit worthy people. This is noncredit worthy in the real world, not the world of the Democrats

The Stimulus Package rolls back welfare reform of 1996, one of the few wise things Clinton did, it greatly reduced the number of minority children living in poverty and it removed the enabling factor of welfare by putting people to work. This reformed was crafted and pushed by evil Republicans, and it worked. Obama and his porkulus bill will increase greatly the number of folks on welfare, it increases over all benefits and handouts to the “undeserving”. Now listen very carefully to the next clip at about 1:45 Obama said and I quote ” …. the welfare population, meaning the undeserving poor black folks in cities, from the working poor deserving white rural as well as suburban …” now I ask you, what would have happened if a white politician said that? The welfare reform that Obama repealed in the Porkulus package will have us see a return to high poverty rate in the minority community … regardless for how much money you give them there will never be personal responsibility without personal sacrifice.

The total cost of this one piece of legislation is almost as much as the annual discretionary budget for the entire federal government. But yet Obama claims he was left with a big deficit.

This legislation nears a trillion dollars. President Reagan said the best way to understand a trillion dollars is to imagine a crisp, new stack of $1000 bills. If you had a stack four inches high, you’d be a millionaire. A trillion-dollar stack of $1000 bills would measure just over 63 miles high.

In $20 bills, a trillion dollar stack would be 3150 miles high. That’s about the distance between DC and Trujillo, Peru. Still hard to get your brain around a trillion isn’t it? Well if you spend a $1,000,000.00 a day every day you wouldn’t run out of money until June 19, 4395 … that’s the year 4395, I’m thinking you won’t live that long.

Obama has said that his proposed stimulus legislation will create or save 3 million jobs, or was it 3.5 million or 4 million or was it 6 million, I don’t know he;s said them all and it progressively keeps getting smaller. (That’s progressives for you.) This means that this legislation will spend about $275,000.00 per job based on 3,000,000 job. The average household income in the U.S. is $42,000.00 a year. I’ve already covered the sneaky language of “save” and “perserve” which when I wrote it, the number was 4,000,000 …

Oh just so you know, Nobama said the this bill will create or PERSEVERE 4,000,000 jobs … note that word PRESERVE that’s the back door word that can’t be proved or disproved as far as job creation goes. It’s sneaky lawyer/politician talk that says something that sounds good and doesn’t say anything at all. There is no way you can prove a job was saved, no way, better yet 4,000,000 of them. Typical political BS. Somebody needs to hold Ears Nobama feet to the fire and ask the question … “EXACTLY, give me a number, how many jobs will this porkulus bill create? Not preserve, CREATE? ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION OBAMA!!” See preserve is a cop out answer as I’ve said, tell me how many of the 11,616,000 unemployed people will go back to work? (edit: He was a professor surely he can figure it out.)

This bill provides enough spending to give every man, woman, and child in America $2,700.00 or bailout out a bunch of deadbeats that don’t pay their mortgage.

This bill will cost each and every household $6,700.00 in additional debt, paid for by our children and grandchildren. (I figured $6500.00 myself, either way it’s more than I have laying around to give away.)

Although this legislation has been billed and described as a transportation and infrastructure investment package, but only three percent ($30 billion) of this package is for road and highway spending.

Much of the funding within the proposed stimulus package will go to programs which already have large, unexpended balances. For example, the draft bill provides $1 billion for Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), which already has $16 billion on hand. And, this year, Congress has plans to rescind $9 billion in highway funding that the states have not yet used.

Deficit spending will not expand the economy. If that were true, then the current $1.2 trillion deficit – the largest in history – would already be rescuing the economy. $800 billion more will not change that.

Trade groups state that every $1 billion in highway “stimulus” can be spent creating 34,779 new construction jobs. But Congress must first borrow that $1 billion out of the private sector. The private sector then loses or forgoes roughly the same number of jobs. I call that a loose-loose.

Japan responded to a 1990 recession by passing 10 “stimulus” bills over 8 years (building the largest national debt in the industrialized world). Their economy remained stagnant and their per capita income went from the second highest in the world to the tenth highest. I know this I worked for a Japanese company and they left the country due to their economy at home. Guess what I don’t work there anymore.
