House Democrats ‘Deem’ Faux $1.1 Trillion Budget ‘as Passed’
Last night (7-1-10), as part of a procedural vote on the emergency war supplemental bill, House Democrats attached a document that “deemed as passed” a non-existent $1.12 trillion budget. The execution of the “deeming” document allows Democrats to start spending money for Fiscal Year 2011 without the pesky constraints of a budget.
The procedural vote passed 215-210 with no Republicans voting in favor and 38 Democrats crossing the aisle to vote against deeming the faux budget resolution passed.
Never before — since the creation of the Congressional budget process — has the House failed to pass a budget, failed to propose a budget then deemed the non-existent budget as passed as a means to avoid a direct, recorded vote on a budget, but still allow Congress to spend taxpayer money.
Can you believe this crap? Not a single Republican voted for this fake budget – so why did the Spendocrats do this? Well its an election year and the Democrats do not know how to cut spending, but they know how to raise taxes and they are playing a game with the Republicans by running up huge debts not paying for them. And when the Republicans win back the House and Senate or at least put a huge dent in their the Democrats majority Obama is going to introduce a VAT and other taxes and when the Republicans bilk at it (and they will) Obama will say that the Republicans are serious about debt reduction – we need debt reduction but we do not need it through more taxes, we need debt reduction through government reduction. Obama has increased the size of government substantially, spending substantially, so-called entitlement substantially which has resulted in the fasted and largest increase in government (read taxpayer) debt in history and Obama as a progressive liberal only knows how to use tax increases as a way out.
So be ready next year Obama is going to plat the ta game with the federal deficit and reducing the size of government will never cross his lying lips – in fact I wouldn’t be surprised a if Obama didn’t ask for more government to control the debt — yeah he’ll ask to spend more to reduce cost (tell me that doesn’t sound like Obama).
