The left as you know is in a tizzy over the Arizona immigration bill – the left has lied about it ten ways to Sunday up to and including Dopey Obama who calls the law “ill-conceived and misguided” – what an idiot. I mean really he is either an complete idiot or a moron, but clearly he didn’t read the bill – this is nothing new in Washington. The Arizona law directs their law enforcement to enforce the Federal law already on the books – got it… now full disclosure I haven’t read every line of the law yet, but from I saw it appears will written and references Federal law a number of time  – so this ill-conceived and misguided law is based on Federal law. The law does not allow profiling or randomly checking person for their citizenship, regardless of what dumbass says.`

The basics of the law is that the police must have “lawful contact” (i.e. traffic stop, arrest etc) AND “reasonable suspicion” to check a persons citizenship. That can’t just stop people randomly and say your papers, please- it’s funny I’ve heard a number of loony libs argue “reasonable suspicion” is to vague but they always leave out the part about “lawful contact”  first – funny how that happens with their argument.

For example: “Arizona already has a state law on human smuggling,” says Kobach. “An officer stops a group of people in a car that is speeding. The car is overloaded. Nobody had identification. The driver acts evasively. They are on a known smuggling corridor.” That is a not uncommon occurrence in Arizona, and any officer would reasonably suspect that the people in the car were illegal. Under the new law, the officer would get in touch with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to check on their status.

But what if the driver of the car had shown the officer his driver’s license? The law clearly says that if someone produces a valid Arizona driver’s license, or other state-issued identification, they are presumed to be here legally. There’s no reasonable suspicion.

So to recap and expand ….

First you’ll recall Obama said immigration would be a top priority in his first year as president – we’re in year two and nothing has been done. Then again Gitmo is still open… just a reminder.

So yesterday Obama said at a supporter-stacked town hall meeting that the police could go up to a family out for ice cream and ask them to prove they are a citizen – this is a blatant lie. What the bill ACTUALLY says is law enforcement can check your citizenship ONLY if you have been stopped or apprehended for another possible violation of the law and they have reasonable suspicion at the point of lawful contact . They can not just walk up to anyone and say “Your papers, please” and anyone that says that is lying plain and simple – not that the progressive democrat left would ever lie, oh no – never….

But is this “your papers please” anything new? Let’s have a look….

Here is the thing- in Obama’s healthcare bill it require you to have insurance and it requires the brown shirts at the IRS to CHECK YOUR PAPERS to see if you have it- it’s in the damn bill! And they are hiring an additional 16,000 IRS agents to enforce it. You have to attach proof of insurance to your 1040 or face fines. (Side note Obama got a ZERO bounce out of healthcare bill -  the Governor of Arizona got a 16 point bump out of the AZ immigration bill. – Do the math.) Again funny how we have money for additional IRS agents, but not border patrol.

Now, if you get stopped at the DUI check point you have to provide what? License, proof of insurance and registration even if you are out for a drive to church and liquor has never touched your lips – ever! You have to provide your papers, please… if you can’t produce them – guess what you get a ticket for not having them.

Go to the store and write a check – what do they do most of the time? Ask for your drivers license… your papers please.

Go to the bank even a bank you do business with and cash a large check what do they do – as for identification – your papers please.

You apply for a job you have to prove you are a citizen with – your papers, please.

Come into this country or any country for that matter can you just say “I’m a citizen, I live here” nope – your papers please or forget about getting in.

You can’t even get a membership to a video store with providing identification can you – your papers please.

Want to fly on the plane? Your papers, please…

Amtrak (Government owned) your papers, please.

Try buying cigarettes or booze and look young – they don’t take your word for it you have to provide identification – your papers, please. And if the merchant sells you those items without checking they face fines and penalties if caught.

Buy a gun! You have to provide a whole host of information (including you first born I think). You have to have a background check and wait two weeks just to buy a product – you papers, please.

Ever hear of pseudoephedrine? Ever try buying that? Think “Sudafed” …. federal law requires (Title VII Subtitle A, Section 711)  you to provide your papers, please to buy it and if you cannot provide I.D. you can keep your stuffy nose. No Sudafed for you.

And the list goes on and on, but these idiots on the left act as if this the Arizona law is going to have goose stepping law enforcement randomly checking citizen without cause… morons all of them. Hell the only time you don’t have to produce your identification is when you vote! In fact I’ve been voting  around 28 years and I do not recall EVER being asked to prove I am who I am, they just take my word for it.

But then again I can understand Obama not liking this law – he’s never produces his papers, not a college transcript, not an employment record or a credible birth certificate (I’m not a birther, I don’t care about this issue) I’m just saying …

Psst it’s all about the Hispanic vote – what do the think the Purto Rico statehood bill is about? Purto Rico becoming a state? Nope…

Foreigners may be kicked out of the country without due process and the endless bites at the litigation apple that illegal aliens are afforded in our country (see, for example, President Obama’s illegal alien aunt — a fugitive from deportation for eight years who is awaiting a second decision on her previously rejected asylum claim).

– Law enforcement officials at all levels — by national mandate — must cooperate to enforce immigration laws, including illegal alien arrests and deportations. The Mexican military is also required to assist in immigration enforcement operations. Native-born Mexicans are empowered to make citizens’ arrests of illegal aliens and turn them in to authorities.

– Ready to show your papers? Mexico’s National Catalog of Foreigners tracks all outside tourists and foreign nationals. A National Population Registry tracks and verifies the identity of every member of the population, who must carry a citizens’ identity card. Visitors who do not possess proper documents and identification are subject to arrest as illegal aliens.

Yes America is such a mean, mean country – mean ol’ Americans, shame on you. Oh by the way the idiot liberals are calling for a boycott the Arizona Tea Company – its’ made in New York
While you are at it boycott San Francisco – San Francisco Leads Charge to Boycott Arizona, But Calls Could Spark Backlash Frankly I’ve been boycotting SF for a long, long time – I wouldn’t want any of their smugness to rub off on me.

And if you don’t like it -go to the White house and complain – but have your papers ready and apply 3 months in advance for a back ground check because they require your papers please.

To get into the White house you need a drivers license, social security card and a FBI background check – but under Obama to get into the US all you need is some bottled water and a pair of comfortable walking shoes.
