The Strawman of ObamaCare

(I my best John “The Cheater” Edwards voice) Whah is it that the progressive liberals want ObamaCare so very badly? Every reliable poll shows the American people do not want it by a wide margin – as much as 3 to 1 in many polls, but yet they continue to push, push, push. So as the mindless scarecrow in the Oval Office laughs in the face of public opinion, the ObamaCare bill as come to symbolize the fight between the conservatives on the right and the progressives on the left, it’s not about healthcare it never has been about healthcare it is about building a monument to Obama and his arrogant ego driven agenda. Obama and the progressive democrats have said to America, ‘we don’t care what you think, we don’t care what you want… your opinion doesn’t matter because it’s not about you – it’s about us.’

Do you really believe Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid in anyone else in the progressive party give a rip about you and your health? Seriously do you? They don’t – it is all about beating the conservatives and achieving legislative victory and nothing about healthcare. They couldn’t pass it with 60 so now they want to pass it with 51! I’ve said it before you don’t build a house all at once, you build it a piece at a time – the progressives want to change everything all at once and HOPE for the best instead of the more prudent step of fine tuning and adjusting.

Obama and his progressive cronies have repeatedly lied about the bill and the overall cost being less then a trillion dollars over the next decade like a trillion is a bargain – they use ten years of taxes compared to 6 years of service to manipulate the CBO’s data then they take the $250-$300 billion in Doc Fix for Medicare and pull it from the bill and placed elsewhere in a separate bill to fudge the numbers, simple math would tell you this is a lie…

They are underestimating the cost by 40% (10 years taxes, 6 year service) and they claim it’s only going to cost $900 billion … now add 40% to that and you get $1.26 trillion – now add Doc Fix of $300 billion and you have $1.56 trillion! We don’t have the money and most realistic experts say it would more likely be $3-4 trillion over the next 10 years as business drop out of private plans ant let their workers go into the public plan. Why? Simple, businesses that opt out have to pay a 8% fine for not providing healthcare to their employees whereas if they provide healthcare it cost an average of 14% – so do the math a business can realize a 6% profit by not providing healthcare to their workers. But the progressive liberals don’t care this will drive the governments cost through the roof it will destroy the country and this seeming to be more and more exactly what they want to do via the Cloward-Piven Strategy. ObamaCare is a straw-man for the take down of America – they, the progressives want to steal your freedoms under the banner of doing something like ObamaCare for you – don’t believe it. The argument is not about healthcare it about the future of America as we have known it – collapse the system and rebuild it in the progressive image and this is why they are taking such big bites from the pie.

As for the straw man here is an example of the game Obama plays to distract from the greater argument…

Obama accused Eric Cantor of using props at the healthcare summit – Cantor had the very bill in front of him they were talking about and somehow this is according to Obama a prop? Meanwhile a few days later Obama makes a statement on healthcare and pushing it threw while flanked with ethnically and gender diverse people draped in white doctors coats and this is a not prop? He has done this before and they are props it nothing more than progressive liberal hypocrisy. So if anyone should be called on using props it’s Obama with all his sob stories from unknown citizens, some of which in the past you’ll recall have turned out to be fake, add this to alleged doctors none of whom ever speak publicly or release their names in lab coats that claim to support this monstrosity and you’ve got the making of a Lifetime Channel tear jerker – but we are on to your games little Barry, we know your tricks and we’ve had over a year to watch them and expose them for the fakes they are – these people and stories are a phony as Obama’s concern for your health. Still doubt me? Remember the women that wanted to be buried in an Obama t-shirt? Remember she died of cancer? Remember she couldn’t afford treatment for her cancer and was without insurance? Remember she worker for the Obama campaign and all Obama could do was brag about how she wanted to be buried in his t-shirt and Mr. Nobel Prize Millionaire couldn’t pony up a dime to help her… remember that? Remember how tragic it was she died without healthcare and no one cared? Boo-freaking-hoo but I bet you didn’t remember most of the story was fake she had healthcare; she knew she had a problem and she ignored it, failing to seek treatment because she spent her money elsewhere. No the mainstream media didn’t tell you that part of the story did they?

So when Obama and the progressive democrats talk about how they care – remember this they don’t it’s about taking over 1/6 of the economy because when they control your money they control your life and the more of your money they control the more of your live they control. Obama care is the straw man the real argument is your freedom from government rule.
