Well, well, well it seems the so-called Stimulus Bill is full of flaws no big surprise there, you know that bill that the democrat just had to have, that had to be voted on right now – that bill no one had tome to read? If this bill wasn’t passed the world would turn into jell-o or worse. Yeah that bill.
Seems a lot of the stimulus money is going to stimulate jobs in other countries and not here in America where Obama has gotten the unemployment up to over 10%.
Senators Want ‘Buy American’ Rule in Stimulus
Four Democratic senators are calling on the Obama administration to halt spending on a renewable energy program in the economic stimulus package until rules are in place to assure that the projects use predominantly American labor and materials.
Gee guess you wouldn’t have made this mistake if you would have taken your time and read the bill.
The senators said that more than three-fourths of $2 billion spent on wind-energy projects supported by the stimulus package had gone to foreign companies. They said that effectively undercut the purpose of the stimulus program — formally known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act — which is to jump-start the American economy and create jobs here.

Schumer raised objections last fall to a $1.5 billion West Texas wind project that will use turbines built in China. Mr. Schumer said that project would create 3,000 jobs in China, but only 300 in the United States.
Yeah and the Republicans are assholes for saying slow down and read the bill first where these little loopholes and flaws could have been found – but nooooooooo you Democrats had to rush it and failed to learn the simple phrase “haste makes waste”. Yep the Republicans said “No” and the progressive Democrats demonized them for it and no the Democrats are saying “No” a little to late to a flawed bill that no one read, but we have no delusions that you’ll learn anything.
“The Recovery Act has doubled the pace of investment in America’s wind industry — including helping attract more than $10 billion of foreign investment to create U.S. jobs,” said Stephanie Mueller, press secretary at the Energy Department. “The best way to stimulate our manufacturing base is to stimulate demand for wind turbines in America, since manufacturers tend to locate where the demand is.”
No need to think that statement is dripping in propaganda after all the swamp is drained and this is the most open and transparent up front and up right administration ever right? After all this bill was well thought out and, well planned and well executed right? Nothing could go wrong right? Not only are jobs going to China but in addition to that these fantastically great wind turbines projects are freezing up in this global warming induced cold ass winter.
Yep this is our congress just pass anything and maybe will fix it later, maybe not… it’s as that old saying goes – there is never enough time to do it right, but there is always enough time to do it again.
Nice going Democrats, create jobs in China …. and you wonder why we don’t trust you with healthcare.
