Pelosi Claims Tea Party Hijacked by GOP
The Tea Party movement is being orchestrated from Republican headquarters, so isn’t truly a grassroots movement, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Sunday.
But it get’s better… Pelosi not only thinks that the Tea Party Movement is Astroturfed she also believe the Tea Party has more in common with the Democrats and the Republicans…
“You know, we share some of the views of the Tea Partiers in terms of the role of special interest in Washington, D.C., as — it just has to stop,” she added.
What special interest would that be Nancy? The Democrats strong opposition to ACORN? Perhaps the Democrats oppositions to Unions? Maybe it’s Planned Parenthood? Tell me Nancy which special interest do the Democrats have in common with the Tea Party? I know it’s the NRA and the Second Amendment Association … right? Surely that’s it.
Nancy I think your spinning the reality of just what the Tea Party is about might be considered Astroturfing and if you think the Republicans are calling the shots you far more ignorant than I originally thought – and that’s scary.
Seems to me the only Astroturfing going on around here is you trying to spin the Tea Party Movement as being more in common with the Democrats than the Republicans – gee I wonder why? After all just a few months ago they were meaningless to you, a fringe movement that had no impact, they didn’t matter and now you are trying to latch on? Perhaps a little less Botox Nancy it’s fogging your thinking.
