Obama Rejects Attackers’ Cries of ‘Socialism’

President Barack Obama launched a vigorous defense of his economic agenda Wednesday, rejecting critics who call his policies “socialism” and insisting he aims to boost U.S. competitiveness abroad.

Let’s have a look…

-Under Obama the US Government now owns 60% of General Motors
-Under Obama the US Government controls the majority of Chrysler Motors
-Under Obama Fannie May and Freddy Mac now own the vast majority of home mortgages
-Obama created a pay czar to regulated some member of the banking industry compensation
-Obama has threaten to use executive order to impose regulations (EPA for Cap and Trade)
-Obama has promoted “smart grids” to regulate electrical usage
-Obama has put America on a path to European style government
-Obama has promoted union preferences to government contracts
-Obama implemented many anti business policies while claiming the opposite
-Obama believes in share the wealth
-Obama is buddy-buddy with Union leader Andy Stern
-Obama has made clear with his words he is anti-business
-Obama is pro high taxation
-Obama is trying to nationalize healthcare

Just to name a few and just in his first year! So what’s the answer?

Yep he possesses serious socialist like tenants

Is Obama a classical by the book socialist? No – he actually closer to a Fascist with a twist of socialism. Fascist do not own all the companies they just tell the companies what to do and how to conduct business, there isn’t a free market. In a truly socialist nation the state owns the businesses and run the companies – you work in the company store, you’re paid by the company store and you shop in the company store – whereas in a Fascist nation the state just forces private businesses to obey their mandates through laws and regulations often evolving force – it’s like a union with more fire power.

Obama believe in economic equality or what he like to call social equality – not for himself as most despots believe but for everyone else. You know the little people, the serfs, and the plebeians. And with Obama having ZERO experience in the private sector he has no understanding of the fallacy of this logic. Obama believes if you have more you should give more, a lot more to help those with less – this sounds great doesn’t helping out your fellow man and all. The problem is that those with more often worked harder, worked longer and managed their wealth wiser than those with less that stood around with their hands out to lazy to provide for themselves. As it has been pointed out – progressiveness has become a cancer on society and the “entitlement class” is that cancer as they demand more and more from the so-called ‘haves’ the government is only enabling the societal cancer to grow and doing nothing to provide a cure.

We have a social welfare system that encourages people to remain dependent on the system and the cancer grows.
We have public schools system that all to often fails to prepare children with the needed education and tools for success in life and the cancer grows. (Some teachers all at fault, but the greater fault falls on the system itself.)
We have a political party, the Democrats that exploit the entitlement class, the Victicrats as a voting block enabling their poverty and the cancer grows.
We have a government that feels it should be the middleman for charity after scrapping the lion’s share off the top and the cancer grows.
We have a government that through regulation and pro union policies that have driven the manufacturing base overseas increasing unemployment and the cancer grows.

As a conservative I do not want to see people starving in the streets and go without shelter but equally it is not my responsibility to insure you are kept if they do nothing to help yourselves. I have no problem giving you a hand up but move along if you are looking for a handout. If you are unable to help yourself we conservatives will help you, if you are just gaming the system and lazy – looking for handouts, you are on your own. I’m not a willing enabler and hunger is a hell of a motivator. Don’t tax me and take my money to enable those that will not help themselves, cut my tax to allow me to provide jobs to those that seek a way out of their poverty. That free market capitalism and that’s what made America great! Obama doesn’t see it this way and therefore he is the anti-capitalist, the anti-free market and being against those fundamental principles of American greatness doesn’t leave a lot of wiggle room to be anything other than a socialist or Fascist mentality – which ever you choose it’s not the American way.

So the way I see it – if you have to try and convince people you are not a socialist because your actions and policies do not prove it – well if the shoe fits…
