McGlowan does damage control on guns
McGlowan’s comments first surfaced on the Mississippi blog Y’All Politics, where commenters said she “sounded like a Democrat” and an “ally of Pelosi.” Another state blog, Majority in Mississippi, pointed out that McGlowan advertised her support for gun ownership in both her campaign kickoff and at tea party appearances, with one contributor concluding that McGlowan is “left with either continuing to hold the unpopular position or be a flip-flopper. Neither are positions any candidate would want to be associated with.”
Former FoxNews analysis Angela McGlowan is running for congress in Mississippi 01, to paraphrase Joe Biden and Harry Reid she is a clean, articulate, light-skinned black woman who doesn’t speak with a Negro dialect unless she really wants too. However, it seems Angela has lost her mind or it was lost and we never knew it. McGlowan through her position in fact indicated she supported the currently dead Blair-Holt Amendment sponsored all alone and solely by Bobby Rush (D-IL) an ultra liberal and ultra idiot from Chicago, now she claims she didn’t know and is singing a different tune. Well Angela as the saying goes it is best to keep your month shut and let them think you a fool than open it and remove all doubt.
Angela who doesn’t like to be called ‘young lady’ as her name is Angela has removed all doubt to her foolishness, she has appeared numerous times on Hannity’s Great American Panel and came across as a fairly staunch level headed conservative with something worthwhile to say most days, note I said came across to be – because no true conservative would expect private citizens to register their guns or anything they own with the government for the express purpose of inventory, but it seems Angela does and oh and by the way did I mention progressive liberal democrat Bobby Rush is a idiot – just a reminder.
Let me explain something to Angela… you never allow the government to start making list of what you own – never ever, not on anything – not guns, small engines, can goods, Q-tips, steak knives, pointy objects – nothing, absolutely nothing got it? Lets say we go out on the lunatic fringe as say the government decides to round up all the firearms like some crazy countries have done, who is going to have all the weapons? Criminals that’s who, criminals that didn’t report their weapons on the first place and the government will be that only ones, everyone else is going to be the victim and I for one am not going to a victim. OK got it? Let try something a little more realistic, say the government wants to impose a firearm tax, not the federal tax you pay when you purchase a weapon but a yearly federal tax such as a firearm usage tax (as KY does on cars called a “road tax”) regardless if you use the gun or not – where would it stop? The government would see a cash cow for host of all kinds of new and creative taxes – how long would it be before you had to pay a small engine tax under the guise of combating global warming i.e. a emissions tax? What if you had a water well how long would it be before you had pay a tax on your usage from drawing down ground water thus effecting the environment we’ll call it a aquifer tax? Sound crazy? Sure it dose, but who would have thought the government would own 60% of General Motors last year? Who would have thought the government would be adding trillion to the debt every few months instead of years or decades? Who would have thought the government would be considering tracking cell phones?
So you see Angela you need to come down off you catty smart-ass high horse and gasp the reality that you do not allow the government to even stick there little toe in the door of keeping tabs on your belongings. Never, ever allow them to even tinker at the edge of the 2nd amendment; you will open a door that needs not be opened. Angela, do I really need to explain to you United States v. Miller or United States v. Lopez two cases
the United States lost dealing in firearms? When the Federal Government over reaches thanks to the 10th amendment you get things like the Montana Firearms Freedom Act to reel them in and set them straight and Angela as somebody running for congress you might want to understand that.
Angela there is clearly so much you do not understand about basic constitutional right, personal privacy and freedoms along with the need to keep the government, especially this government away from tinkering with them and therefore you are utterly unqualified to be a member of congress. So if you live in Mississippi make a mental note as I don’t have a vote in the Mississippi race and remember what I’ve told you time and time again, do NOT listen to what they are saying today to get elected, listen to what they have said in the past when they thought it didn’t matter – look at what they have done and not what they say they will do. Perhaps Angela needs to turn over her weapons because she doesn’t understand gun safety and has shot herself in the foot with this one. So who to vote for in Mississippi? I don’t know, but I don’t think McGlowen needs to make the short list the GOP can do better.
