President Tax’em

The Tax’em and Thief Obama now want to tax the banks…

Obama seeking tax on biggest banks

The president planned to propose Thursday a levy of 15 basis points, or 0.15 percent, on the liabilities of large financial institutions to make sure every dollar spent from the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program to rescue Wall Street firms, auto companies and mortgage holders is either repaid or paid for. Congress would have to approve the tax.

I’ll keep this short… just whom does Urkle really believe will pay these additional taxes? Are the banks going to pay them? No.  (Follow me here) the banks are going to pass on the additionally taxes they have to pay on the tax money they received from the taxpayer to you the citizen that paid the taxes for the money used by the government to bail them out… basically you are paying to the bank for using your money, but that’s the liberal Obama way now isn’t it?

“Congress would have to approve the tax.” Done. What is Congress not going to approve for the jugearedjackass? Our only current hope is Scott Brown. [Yes. I have donated. Generously.] [Of course, that is assuming that Senator Brown gets "seated" prior to any vote.] This “new” levy? Another tax, that’s all. Oh, sure. Not a “tax” in the sense that it is a “tax.” But we all know. It is us, the people, that will pay it. One way for him to keep his promise that taxes on people making less than $250K won’t see an increase. Umm hmm. Sure.

This new bank levy doesn’t upset me nearly as much as the fact that only SOME of us are going to be taxed for our cadillac health plans and that unions will not. I just know – I just know – our plan is included. I don’t think we’ve ever had such a fabulous plan. Ever. It is one of the benefits that keeps us here. If DH works for the company for ten years, we get to keep the plan for life. Oh, sure, we’ll pay premiums for the plan once we leave, but at a rate that is currently affordable. Steam comes out every – EVERY – orifice of my body on that!!!

Just when I think it isn’t possible to hate that man any more than I already do, something comes up and I hate him even more. Hate. And that is a pretty strong word that I do not use lightly.

Whoops. Forgot to close that “bold” tag after the word “not.” Sorry.
