I am sick of the good old boys, girls and this political patty-cakes mentality of pandering and posturing around the reality that the Democrats in Washington LIE! Not little white lies… in your face lies.
Joe Wilson stating the fact that Obama lied, has any other GOP politician come out and said “Obama, you lie?” Why? Because the GOP good old boys and girls in Washington are for the most part a bunch of spineless wimps… and about the only GOP’ers speaking out with in vigor at all is John Boehner and Michelle Bachmann, but Boehner demonstrated poor judgment when he blindly endorsed Dede Scozzafava in N.Y. 23 who is a known RINO. Where are the others speaking out? Oh you occasionally get small glimmers of opposition with the recent McCain Senate floor speech demanding a veto of the recent spending bill, but where are the others? My own Senator Mitch McConnell at best only offer token resistance to this outlandish spending and power grabs that is laced with about as much fire and passion as a dead fish. Hey, Mitch you’re not going to get the attention and media you need to get your message out using this soft rhetoric… the general public doesn’t heard soft rhetoric they hear bold statement. The general public doesn’t pay attention to the flaccid resistances being widely offered by the GOP. In fairness the following have offer some vocal opposition… Jim Demint, Tom Coburn, Jim Inhofe, Mike Pence and Darrell Issa… but they still need to pull the stops out the patty-cake politics and get tough. We in America need leaders not politicians.
So quickly, back to Obama and democrat lies…
Transparency – LIE
No lobbyist in cabinet – LIE
No earmarks – LIE
Unemployment not above 8%- LIE
Deficit neutral – LIE
Bi-Partisanship – LIE
Create jobs – LIE
Save money – LIE
Fiscal responsibility – LIE
And that’s just a few… and I honestly do not know if there is enough room on the Internet to list the lies told by Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama and nearly every other Democrat in government. I get so sick and tired of hearing that the Republicans do not have a healthcare plan, that they have offered nothing and brought nothing to the table, they have no idea and if they had one it would be to “die quickly“… that’s a LIE.
Republicans offer 230-page health care proposal
Obama does it, Reid does it, Pelosi does, Hoyer does it, Baucus does it, Frank does it, Dodd does it and every democrat pundit and politician does it, they will get up there in front of the camera and look American in straight in the eye and say the Republicans are obstructing the process, that they have no plan, that they have offered no plan and the majority of the American people overwhelmingly want whatever socialist agenda the Democrats are pushing that week all of which is a bald-face LIE.
And the republicans say little to nothing…
So while the Democrat what to label the Republicans the “Party of NO!” I have to ask what the Republican response might be… nothing they just bend over and take it! The vast number of American’s will say, “Well it must be true they’re not denying it”. If the GOP wants to get out of the political hole they’ve dug for themselves they are going to have to get up and say that the Democrat Party is the “Party of LIES!” the “Party of Tax and Spend” the “Party of Socialism” the Republicans are going to have to but away the kitten-mittens and get out the baseball bat.
Now I’m not going to pump the Republican party they have their problems too and they’ve lied as well, but the reality is the Republicans do not have the votes to stop anything the Democrats put forth, they have no power… but this doesn’t stop Obama, Pelosi and Reid blaming the Republicans for anything that is going wrong and this is akin to blaming the boogieman under the bed and if the Republicans do not take some notes from those evil Tea Party members of speaking up and speaking out with force and vigor and calling foul when it’s a foul then they to may join the ranks of the unemployed. A recent poll showed that the Tea Party beat the GOP in candidate popularity… however both fell behind the Party of Tax, Spend and Lie Democrats. Well this is not the road to victory and since the Tea Party is more popular than the GOP, the GOP is going to catch up or be left behind.
So what to do? Well for the most part the GOP and the Tea Party is on the same side of the fence, but of two fundamental differences, the GOP is playing largely softball and the Tea Party is playing hardball… the Republicans in congress can not continue to be back-benchers and set there quietly while the Democrats try to steam roll every socialist agenda they’ve ever dreamed of over us. It is not the GOP that has slowed the healthcare debt to a crawl it is the Tea Party people that have slowed it down. The Tea Party people has gotten the word out and they’ve forced the GOP to talk about it, but yet the GOP continues to be meek and weak on the issues and I’m tired of it. They need to speak up and vocalize the outrage of the liberal Democrat tactics and lies and until they grow a spine they will forever ride on the coat tails of the Tea Party. It’s that right Newt, king of the latcher-ons.
Tea Party Movement Gaining Steam
Running as a third party will not work, conservatives divided will not stand and we’ll end up with another Democrat congress and Obama until 2016 and this country can’t afford that… so if both the GOP and Tea Party run then before the election the weaker candidate needs to drop out and endorse the other conservative candidate… most importantly there can be no in-fighting leave that to the Democrats.
