Let’s play games with words…

On this national healthcare that no body wants but the democrats, they are now claiming… It’s not a “public option” it’s a “competitive option” according to the Botox Queen Pelosi.

Pelosi: Health care ‘public option’ needs new name

In an appearance at a Florida senior center, the Democratic leader referred to the so-called public option as “the consumer option.” Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., appeared by Pelosi’s side and used the term “competitive option.”

Pelosi when on to say…

“You’ll hear everyone say, ‘There’s got to be a better name for this,’” Pelosi said. “When people think of the public option, public is being misrepresented, that this is being paid for with their public dollars.”

Excuse me Nancy anything paid for by the government is paid for with tax dollars? How does this women find her why around her house, better yet become the speaker of the house? She is not the sharpest tool in the shed…

While I’m talking about healthcare let think about this a little here… the Obama administration today said that there is a H1Ni vaccine shortage because the administration was “over optimistic” about the delivery of the vaccine….

Wasn’t the Obama administration “over optimistic” about the economic recovery? Remember they based their recovery numbers on something like 4% economic growth… we’ve had negative growth, this was nothing but a numbers game to make good media but the really is Obama uses fuzzy math and overly optimistic number to pass his agenda one can only ask when will the lawmakers catch on? He was “over optimistic” about the amount of job that the stimulus package would “save or create” … he was “over optimistic” about the unemployment rate slowing and falling… it seems to me that Obama has “misoverestimated” and been over optimistic nearly everything he’s put his hands on and has made promises about and I can only figure that it’s ever…

1.) He more full of crap than a Christmas goose and believes we’re all stupid.
2.) So pathetically narcissistic that he actually believes his own rhetoric and sophism.

I think it’s a combination of both… (A.D.D. moment) oh did you know that aspiring politicians use to study “rhetoric” from the times of ancient Greece thru the Roman empire up to the late 1800′s as a study to learn how to B.S. the public. Yep it’s true look it up.

But back to healthcare and the “public option” that’s not really a public option that’s not really paid for by public money even though it’s paid for with public tax dollars that I guess aren’t public either. The loons in Washington are saying that states can opt-out of the public option… problem is those states can’t opt out of the public taxes that go with it… so you can opt out, pay taxes for it and then not get it. But who does the opting out? The Governor? The state legislators? It’s not the voter because it’s clear they could care less what those pesky voters have to say and think… we just stupid and have to be drug to it according to some of those on the left.

The reality is the government is doing all they can to take your freedoms from you… if they control your money they control your life, if they control your energy they control your life, if they control your health they control your life… can’t speak for you, but I’m not a big fan of being controlled.

    you sound really angry. Maybe that’s your schtick, but your arguments seem fueld by emotions rather than logic. And I thought girls were supposed to be the irrational ones (lol). Why does government coverage have to be control? Is the government controlling you by making you drive on their roads? or use their parks?

      You think it’s a “schtick”… guess that explains the name of the site. If you do not see the logic you haven’t read enough of the site yet. Additionally you speak of the government as if they are someone other than us… have you read the US Constitution as any point in your life?

        Where does it say that road wills be provided or national parks or social security?? The PEOPLE have decided for these things through their elected officials. None of these are controlling us, but are serving us. What’s so bad about that?

          This is a straw-man argument you are making… road and parks are provided with TAXES and public… ever hear of public roads, public parks… insurance is private and a business. Parks and roads are infrastructure not a service… insurance is a service as in health service. Please get a clue it’s apples and oranges.

    I’m sorry, I thought you were against PUBLIC healthcare because it “takes away your freedoms”. The only reason the building and upkeep of roads and parks is currently PUBLIC and not private is because laws were passed and the gov’t tookt he responsibility. The only difference here is that the private sector was given a chance with providing health insurance and proved it couldn’t do it in a responsible way. Thank God we have the gov’t to clean up after the messes of a free and unrestricted market!

      Government to clean up a mess! That’s rich! The government makes the messes… get a clue, who do you think created the housing problem? (Can you say Fanny May and Freedie Mac) Who do think created the entitlement culture? (Can you say FDR and LBJ and now BHO?) Government actions and inaction’s create the messes, the private sector responds to government interference with regulations, taxes, laws and meddling often in a negative way.

      Stephanie, Medicare and Medicaid (Government funded healthcare) is broke and has $74 TRILLION in unfunded liabilities, they are government run healthcare insurance, the VA is a joke! Have you ever been to the VA? I have and I’ve sooner find a back ally witch doctor as to use a VA clinic. I’m against government run healthcare because…

      1. The government has never ran anything effectively or efficiently.
      2. WE CAN NOT AFFORD IT!
      3. It WILL remove the doctor/patient relationship. (See the VA and Medicaid)
      4. It will in time according to Obama’s own words eliminate private healthcare with a single payer provider.
      5. It will take away your freedom… the government will (note Reich) will tell you what services you can and can not have.
      6. It will lead to rationing, “you’re just too old and we can’t afford to waste money on you for this operation” (it happens now with Medicare and the VA)
      7. Quality doctors will leave and we’ll be left with reject doctors that end up at the VA that kill people.

      Is that what you want Stephanie? Then move the Mass and get on their failing healthcare, or maybe try TennCare in Tennessee where doctors get more patients and less pay, or try the universal plan they tried in Hawaii…oh that’s right it went broke and they ended it.

      Stephanie I’m not going to argue with you on this… if you do not learn from the mistakes of the past you are bound to repeat them… and the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

      If this is about healthcare which I doubt then why destroy a entire system to provide a service for less than 5% of the population? It’s about 5% (those are the real numbers not Obama numbers) that do not have healthcare… so why screw it up for 100% of the people?

      Who’s going to pay for it Stephanie? Tell me who is going to pay for it? If you believe it’s deficit neutral you’re nuts. We’re nearly $12,000,000,000,000.00 in debt and over $105 TRILLION in unfunded liability…. go to the debt clock and watch it spin and get back to me!

      Don’t give me roads and parks it’s apples and orange… do you really in your heart of hearts believe the government can do things better than the private sector? If you do then you are either woefully naive or lying… because there are example after example of government failures that we pay for.

    I certainly don’t have all the answers, but I believe medicare and medicaid are bankrupt because of the ridiculous costs of healthcare in this country.
    Paying for a gov’t system is doable and is already being done in the black in Ohio. You probably didn’t know that, angry white guy, but it is being done. This system can now be applied on a larger scale (though they are already serving nearly 1 million people).
