It seems to me that if the loony left wants to close Gitmo then they should offer up a alternative location, Murtha offered his district, but he knew that they had no maximum security prisons in his district, so that was a empty offer and he knew it. Typical liberal smoke and mirrors. So a viable alternative would be a defunct prison not in current use, right … what better place than The Rock? The most escape-proof prison in the US. Frankly I think it sounds like a great idea … the loony left get their wish of Gitmo’s closed door and the they can show there patriotism by placing them in the Leader of the Loons district right in the middle of San Francisco Bay. It’s a win-win.
