Sorry I’ll pass on ACORN Day

So for my Day of Services I serviced my yard, I hopped on the John Deere tractor, put in my ear buds and turned on Rush Limbaugh as it takes about 3 hours to mow… yes it’s a big yard. Rush started out talking about the very subject I was bitching about that morning, Barack Obama’s bastardization of 9/11 by declaring it a National Day of Service the entire concept just rubs me the wrong way… of all days he had to pick 9/11 to further remove the real meaning of the day…

Of all days to be a DAY OF SERVICE and remembrance (if you have time for the latter) Obama has spit in the eye of patriotism and pick today of all day of the year to do it. Well NO it’s not a Day of Service, it’s a Day of Remembrance ONLY I am not going to participate in a national fascist day of service. Now understand it’s fine to help your neighbor or those in need, but do we really need the Community Organizer and Thief telling us like he’s Daddy Barry what we need to do? I don’t think so.

Did we need a community organizer to tell us what to do after Katrina? No!
Did we need a community organizer to tell us what to do after the Mississippi River floods? No!
Did we need a community organizer to tell us what to do after the mid-west tornadoes? No!
Did we need a community organizer to tell us what to do after the California earthquakes? No!
Did we need a community organizer to tell us what to do after Asian tsunami? No!
Did we need a community organizer to tell us what to do after Oklahoma City Bombing? No!
Did we need a community organizer to tell us what to do after 9/11? No!

Why? Because Americans know what to do, they know when to do it and they don’t need some second rate thug community organizer to tell them when, what and how to do it! Barack Obama has no understanding if the American spirit, the American ability to step up to the plate as this is the most giving, charitable country on the planet, but this should be evident by the paltry amount of charitable donations the liberals give compared to conservatives.

So take your National Day Service and place it squarely up your ACORN, this is nothing more than a fascist attempt to community organize the nation, to make the American individual spirit nothing more than a mindless drone for the government agenda, volunteerism and charity should be a unique and personal choice and not one forced upon you by a guilt peddling, class-warfare administration. I don’t need Daddy Barry telling me what and where to do the right thing, I don’t need him to identify the right thing for me, I don’t need his nanny state mentality and I don’t need him.

But who other then El Rushbo to sum it up…

What is happening is Barack Obama believes there is no basic goodness in the American spirit without his prompting it. I know it’s hard to believe that we’ve elected somebody like this but it is what it is and we have to deal with it — and up until his immaculation, this country was not the way you look at it. But now that he’s there, now that he’s president, basic goodness finally has come to America and its spirit. But only because of his presence, only because of Obama’s urging will we now become a just and moral and fair country. We will give up our profits. We will give up our prosperity. We will return ourselves to poverty so as to be equal with the rest of the world. Everything is government top-down with him. Free enterprise cannot work. Basic human kindness cannot happen without his prompting it.

Obama Hijacks 9/11, Twists it Into National Day of Service to the State

I want to close this post with this thought. Regardless of political party, regardless of what side of the aisle you stake your claim , regardless of your personal beliefs we in America are all American and we as a nation can not let the bastardization of this day happen. So take out a pen and paper and write down what you remember about September 11, 2001… what were you doing? Where was you going? How did you feel? Do you remember? Do you remember the fear mixed with patriotism, the anger mixed with the confusions, the feeking of what can I do to help those in need, do you remember? Write it down, write it down and save it away for your children or grandchildren and for those yet to come, leave nothing out tell them everything you felt that day and the days afterward. We can not let that part, that spirit, the pride in America disappear.

Don’t put it off, do it today.
