An open letter to congress

Congress,

Recently the often daff Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer both Democrats made the accusation that average American people that exercised their constitutional right of free speech in opposition of national healthcare of being somehow “un-American” this came on the heels of the Speaker erroneous allegations that those same American where carrying swastikas, I find this offensive and unbecoming for any member of congress. Speaker Pelosi is a disgrace to the position she holds, she and many in her party have stooped to puerile ad hominem attacks in referring to the American people that do not agree with that which is being forced upon us untested, un-vetted and unread. Accusations of being a mob, brown shirts, Nazis, not patriotic, of the KKK and of all things political terrorist these affronts have all been levied by member of the Democrat Congress. So I ask, have you in congress forgotten just who it is that you work for? Have you forgotten that you are “Representatives” of the people and not Lord or Barons or Kings or Queens over the people? Your job is not of divine providence that you are elected and just as you were elected you can be defeated in 2010.

I find it appalling that members of congress and especially you in the Democrat party, the party of SEIU, ACORN, George Soros, Organize for America, MoveOn.org and so many others  have the audacity to hide from their constituents, to avoid them and to speech to them as something less than human. You in congress and again primarily Democrats and even the President have accused real American people of “astroturfing” or “manufacturing” dissent all while it is the Democrat party and the White House has ginned up support via e-mail campaigns, government websites, community organizations and union groups summoned to bully these average honest taxpaying American at public Town Hall meetings. Even the megalomaniacal President of the United State who has endlessly abused his office and well as disgracing it by telling those that don’t agree with him to “stop talking and get out of the way” well I tell you Mr. President and members of congress we are not going to stop talking, we are not going to get out of the way and we are not going to forget those that have abused the power entrusted to them by the people, we are not going to stand still while you try to ride ruck shot over our freedom. We will not go quietly into the night.

So Congress you may still wonder why large sections of the American people have joined forces against you? In the past we may have not always agreed with our government, we not have always fully trusted our government and we may not have always supported our government but in the end we knew the government would try to what was best for the country even if we disagreed in part. Today we have a government the people do not trust to do the right thing, can not be trusted and is of the opinion they are somehow privileged beyond the private citizens. You in Congress are trying to dictate the terms without discussion and you are stacking the deck in the debate and the American people know it, the gig is up and it’s time you realize that you answer to us, the American people, the taxpayers, the veterans, the voters,  the Mom’s and Dad’s and you can listen to us now or hear us in Nov 2010.

You see Congress we’ve slipped up in the past years I admit it and we didn’t watch you that close, and you took a little more and a little more and then you got greedy. You awarded yourself raises without debate, you gave your luxury trips on luxury planes without answers and then when we spoke you ignored the voices of dissent and labeled them un-American. You pass massive bills unread and untested that failed to work and then you lied and lied again making false claims, false numbers and false reports and now you must answer and answer you will, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but you will answer and that I can assure you.

I’m watching you,
A Mob of One.
