Yep the Democrats are creating job and the recession is over (according the CNN and Newsweek) so rejoice the messiah has saved the planet, the economy, the country, the universe and all things yet to be discovered, it’s a happy-happy day… or is it? Recently in Oregon they create via the $787 BILLION stimulus plan or as I perfer to call it “a waste of money” allegedly 3,236 new jobs!! Well yeah, hip-hip-hooray yippy.. woohoo… hold on a tick, wait a minute and hold the phone those shiny new jobs only lasted on average 35 hours for one week, not 35 hours a week… just 35 hours total and that’s it. WTF? That’s not a job! Good gawd I’m been at parties that lasted longer than that, but never fear your trusty Democrats have spun it into over 3200 new jobs and before the propaganda ink was dry those jobs were over and the blessed worker back on the unemployment roles.

How much are politicians straining to convince people that the government is stimulating the economy? In Oregon, where lawmakers are spending $176 million to supplement the federal stimulus, Democrats are taking credit for a remarkable feat: creating 3,236 new jobs in the program’s first three months.

But those jobs lasted on average only 35 hours, or about one work week. After that, those workers were effectively back unemployed, according to an Associated Press analysis of state spending and hiring data. By the state’s accounting, a job is a job, whether it lasts three hours, three days, three months, or a lifetime.

Wow so were those 35 total hour jobs created or saved? Some call the O2I2 (Obama Office of Imaginary Information) What a joke, 35 hours and they claim recovery and if you’re keeping note the national unemployment rate under Obama is 9.7% and in the state in question; Oregon it’s 12.1% just so you know.

“At best you can say it’s ambiguous, at worst you can say it’s intentional deception,” said economist Bruce Blonigen of the University of Oregon. “You have to normalize it into a benchmark that everybody can understand.”

Hey Bruce we’re talking about Democrats here so let’s go with the intentional deception and as far as normalizing is concerned I call a spade a spade and this is a lie plain and simple.

(Attention overly sensitive liberal loons a “spade” is a shovel as in shovel ready projects and everything about the Obama administration is shovel ready… but you ‘urbanites’ like miss the reference. Think Soda-Manure.

I can’t wait for 2010 when Obama tries to take credit for created jobs to perform the census… you watch him he will.
