Larry Summers cites Google search as progress
Larry Summers highlighted one Friday to make his case that the economic free-fall has ended.
The number of people searching for the term “economic depression” on Google is down to normal levels, Summers said.
Yes we have a government that seems to think that the amount a given term is searched on Google is a indicator of the economy… someone please hand me the duct tape, help me out here how on earth is that definitive economic data? Hey Larry, maybe it is kind of like all the people that have given up looking for work, people just don’t Google the term anymore… why go looking for bad news when it’s all around you? Maybe that’s why the Google searches are down, but in a effort to reassure the administration it’s still a failure…

Summers also spewed more of the Obama propaganda…
“We pledged at the time the Recovery Act became law that some of the spending and tax effects would begin almost immediately.,” Summers said in prepared remarks. “We also noted that the impact of the Recovery Act would build up over time, peaking during 2010 with about 70 percent of the total stimulus provided in the first 18 months. Now, five months after the passage, we are on track to meet that timeline. “

This plan will provide sensible tax relief for the struggling middle class, unemployment insurance and continuing health care coverage for those who’ve lost their jobs, and it will help prevent our states and local communities from laying off firefighters and teachers and police.

Well I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know that the Stimulus was a nearly trillion dollar joke and the American people were boondoggled.
So Google “economic depression” or “Obama sucks” or “Obama socialist” or anything else the idiots in Washington are checking up on since they think search terms are some indicator of the economy and various over polling.
