Well score one for real equality, the White firefighters that where refused a promotions for the simple reason that they studied and passed the test won an appeal at the Supreme Court level in a landmark case that reversed the racially motivated decision by Sotomayor, Barack Obama’s Supreme Court nominee.
But think about it, I mean really how dare these Whites guys study for a test, buy books and hire tutors when the Blacks and Hispanics guys had the exact same opportunity to do the same thing. How dare these White guys not only take the test but then they have the nerve to pass the test fully knowing that they as White people studied for the test just like any minority could have if they had chosen too. They should have known that the Blacks and Hispanics taking the test could have studies too, but seems they did not. I cannot believe that these people think that they can work hard, study hard, pass a test and get away with it? Really the nerve of it all.
Seriously if you want a promotion, study and pass the test, I’m so sick of anyone saying a test is racially biased somehow. Someone explain to me what the hell kind of firefighter question could be asked that only White people could answer? Let’s reverse it and say what question could you ask a Black firefighter that a White firefighter wouldn’t know? Anyway it’s all very silly and thank goodness 5 of the Supreme Court Justices had the good sense to turn Sotomayor over again for the 7th out of 8th times.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., released a statement saying the decision underscores his concern that Sotomayor “may have allowed her personal or political agenda to cloud her judgment and affect her ruling.”

Meanwhile back the White House the ever genius (snicker) Chief Propagandist Robert Gibbs says…
Gibbs explained that Sotomayor was clearly following a precedent in ruling in favor of the city of New Haven. He said the Supreme Court was offering a “new interpretation” of part of the Civil Rights Act.
Yeah right, Gibbs she was ruling based on race only it’s not the first time and it won’t be the last. She wrote an opinion about a paragraph long, I will summarize… “Screw these crackers.” (There was two Hispanics that passed the test FYI)
Remember Sotomayor’s confirmation hearing is scheduled for July 13 so make sure you call your Senator and say no to Sonya.
