Didn’t Obama make a promise of having 5 days to review a bill before the vote? Well have we gotten it yet? They drop an amendment on the floor at 3AM the day of the vote and except the members of congress to not only read the 16oo page bill but also the 300 page amendment too??? Congress didn’t have time to read it, the public never got a chance to see it and we’re suppose to believe these idiots are acting in our best interest?
It’s insane, it’s a sham and it should be illegal!
Here what they need they do.
1. All forms of legislation written in plain English. None of this “Refer to Subsection 3.1, Paragraph C of Article 124, page 198.3-201.8 of graph 6a line 7 through 14 as noted in graph 8f.” NONE OF THAT! Use the K.I.S.S. principle “Keep It Simple Stupid”
2. All bills must have a complete summery in the first TWO double spaced pages, meaning the average American with a High School education should be able to read the first TWO pages (i.e. The Summery) and know what the hell it says. I know lawyers that can’t understand the language coming out of Washington.
3. No earmarks on any bills. All spending much stand alone and if congress thinks that’s to much work well that’s to damn bad I guess they’ll just have to cut out some of the dozens of vacations and breaks they take every year. Multiple small spending can be grouped into one bill on a state by state basis. This will stop the sneaking in of spending and pork at the last minute.
4. NO AMENDMENTS or ADDITIONS to ANY bill within 5 days of the vote.
5. Public display and access to all legislation for 5 days prior to vote, don’t just say it actually do it. Any bill that has not been available for public display is barred by law from going to the floor of a vote. The only exception to this rule is a 2/3 vote to “Rush” the bill. (This is for emergencies such as acts of war against the United States or Natural Disasters relief. Ill call this the common sense exception.)
And that about it right off the top of my head, nothing fancy, nothing complex, nothing wordy.
These 1500, 2000 and 3000 page bills have got to go. Here something to think about the Federal Highway Act of 1956 allocated $25,000,000,000.00 ($25 B) to build 41,000 miles of road over 20 years and it was 24 pages long. 
Listen these morons on the left are saying that the cost to you of the Cap and Tax bill will be only about the cost of a STAMP every day… what they are not telling you is which stamp they are talking about. I know these butt-wipes and you have to read what they are not saying. They speak in double talk and never tell you the truth, when they say something cost no more than the cost of a stamp… ask them “Which stamp?”
Somehow it seems fitting that one of the most expensive US Stamps is Marine One that carries around the more expensive president we’ve ever had. The Express Mail Stamp at $16.25 each.
Remember Obama said out of his own pie-hole that under his plane “ENERGY COST WOULD NECESSARILY SKYROCKET”

To your excellent list I would add that every law would automatically sunset-pick your time, say 5 years, necessitating the need to go back and see if the intent and the budget have been followed,. These assholes, both parties, churn out law after law, sometimes in an emotional response to a current event without thinking the damn thing through and we're stuck with the damn thing
On another note, I see a number of states are introducing laws they will forestall Obamacare in their states-now that's cool-too bad my state, CO, is now run by morons
