Remember what I said?

operation_game1Not a week ago I said “Make the VA work then get back to me on National Health Care.” or something to that effect.

I said it right here … National Health Care

So I’ll quote myself…

SHOW ME HOW YOU CAN MAKE THE VA WORK, THEN WE’LL TALK ABOUT GOING NATIONAL.

I’m a veteran and I can’t get anything from the VA and on the few occasions I did get service over 20 years ago, it was pathetic. Case in point they sent me home with a bottle of Motrin when I had 2, count them 2 broken arms only to be called a few days later to be told to come back my arms were broken… which is what I told them when I went in there. This is not a isolated case, Obama needs to shut up and make the VA work then he can spout off about National Health Care.

The VA is joke, you go there if your don’t care about your health, most of the Doctors (not all) are med school rejects that can’t cut in the the real world. Case in point they opened a VA clinic here in my community and the 2 worst and I mean THE WORSE doctors at the hospital went to work for the VA… and this is what we reward our veterans with. Sad… really, really sad. I wouldn’t take my dog to these guys, in fact I’d let my vet work on my before I’d let those quacks touch me again as I had the misfortune of getting both of them at visits to the hospital.

Anyway it’s Father’s Day and I’m a father so I’ll be short ….

Report: VA Hospital Botched Cancer Treatments

A newspaper says a common surgical procedure for the treatment of prostate cancer was botched at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Philadelphia 79 percent of the time.

The New York Times says a team that performed the procedure using radiation botched it on 92 of 116 occasions over more than six years. The paper says the team continued the treatment for a year even though the equipment that measured whether patients received the proper radiation dose was broken.

A federal commission announced last fall that an inspection at the hospital was under way partly because of the number of patients given incorrect radiation doses. The medical center suspended its prostate cancer treatment program as a result of the ongoing probe and the doctor chiefly responsible for the mistakes no longer works there.

You think this is isolated? Think again… the VA more often than not is home to the reject Doctors that received their medical degree from fine places like Kwik-Pic or 7-Eleven and winning a couple of games of Operation.
