I posted about this a few weeks ago and now Obama is wanting to switch to PAYGO only after he ran up the biggest debt in WORLD HISTORY. PAYGO if you are out of the loop is a program known as “Pay As You Go” and what it REALLY means is you can only creating new spending if you cut existing spending elsewhere in the budget OR…. OR… OR CREATE NEW or RAISE EXISTING TAXES TO OFFSET AND PAY FOR THE NEW SPENDING! Now what do you think Obama will do? Will he cut entitlement spending to fund interstate road construction? Or will he cut interstate road construction AND raise taxes to fund entitlement programs? I think the latter, now for the record I was out on the road as you might know and I saw one of the HUGE road work signs that said “Project Funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act” in either Alabama or Mississippi, but the point is it said that the “Project Funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act” was for next 48 miles… I drove and I drove and I drove and about 100 miles later I never saw one sign of road work other than this big ass “Project Funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act” sign with Obama cheesy Recovery.gov logo on it that the cost of the sign could have fed a family of four for a year, but I saw nothing not even a shovel or a road cone, so where was the work where was the recovery? It’s all hype, there was no work just the Obamaganda sign and a “fines doubled in work zone” sign from the state I was in and that was it, but I’m off topic right now, back to PAYGO.
Short of it is that PAYGO is nothing more than a sneeky ass word for more taxes, government never cuts spending they only raise taxes. So when you hear Ears Obama talking and he is babbling out garbage about PAYGO just subsitute the word TAXES and you’ll have something closer to the truth. The government can’t pay as they go, they don’t have the money.
I think many of us could give the government a lesson in PAYGO, because I for one am the type of person that if I can’t afford it and haven’t the money to buy it, I don’t.
