Long-Term Debt ‘Unsustainable’ …. really?

Yesterday Dopey said that the US long term debt is unsustainable… gee isn’t this exactly what the all those inbred redneck racist teabaggers said and have been saying all along and dumbass announces it like he figured it out on his own. I don’t know if I should die laughing or run screaming from the room. Either way I need to duct tape my head.

The article here…
Obama Says U.S. Long-Term Debt Load ‘Unsustainable’

What Obama has not said is that this unsustainable debt is HIS DEBT, he has ran up 4 times what Bush ran up and now it’s a problem? But I’m sure he’ll find someway to blame Bush, then again if Obama’s new puppy went tinkles on the Oval Office rug it would be Bush’s fault.

“We can’t keep on just borrowing from China,” Obama said at a town-hall meeting in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, outside Albuquerque. “We have to pay interest on that debt, and that means we are mortgaging our children’s future with more and more debt.”

Again REALLY? Haven’t a bunch of of crazy ring wing extremist have been saying for a long time? Even when the spending was under a Republican President we said STOP THE SPENDING! CUT THE DEBT! But noooo, we’re just out there crazy loons clinging to our guns and religion. Well I think the government needs to find a little religion right now, because gun sales are way up nation wide.

In his New Mexico appearance, the president pledged to work with Congress to shore up entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare. He also said he was confident that the House and Senate would pass health-care overhaul bills by August.

“Most of what is driving us into debt is health care, so we have to drive down costs,” he said.

Ok entitlements, then get rid of welfare, food stamps, Government housing and the 100′s of other handouts given to people putting NOTHING back into the system and if you think the government taking over the health care industry is going to drive down cost your insane! Name one thing, one damn thing that the government has ever done that was financially responsible, that wasn’t over budget, behind schedule and poorly managed? One, name one… can’t do it can you?

“It’s time for reform that’s built on transparency, accountability, and mutual responsibility, values fundamental to the new foundation we seek to build for our economy,” the president said.

Oh my sides are hurting again… “transparency, accountability, and mutual responsibility”. I have yet to see any transparency, accountability, and mutual responsibility from this administration, what I have seen is blame passing, distancing, and spinning. I think Vegas is starting to take bets on just how long Obama is going to try blame Bush for everything.

“We’ve got a long way to go before we put this recession behind us,” Obama said. “But we do know that the gears of our economy, our economic engine, are slowly beginning to turn.”

No their not, unemployment is up, debt is up, business closings are up, and misery is up and you call that a turn? I call it a nose dive of the American quality of life thanks to this pinhead and his run away spending and poor management.

Health-care costs are driving up the nation’s debt and burdening entitlement programs such as Medicare, the government- run insurance program for those 65 and older and the disabled.

So if Medicare is breaking the government then do tell how will national health care be cheaper an save the government money? And speaking of entitlement why doesn’t anyone ever mention how much we spend on Food Stamp, Welfare and Medicaid (Health care for the poor.)? I know I harp on these entitlements, but you really need to see the things I see. And for Medicare he folks over 65 paid into the system and the government spent it on those that do not and now it’s our problem?

And trying to find out how much money is spent on Food Stamps and Welfare is like looking for a needle in a hay stack, but with a little digging I did find some data for the year 2000. Welfare $18,277,000,000.00 Food Stamps $14,939,000,000 now that amount was down from the 1996 amount of $22,637,000,000 and $22,447,000,000.00 respectively which was prior to the “Welfare to Work” program that Obama has now reversed so one can only imagine those amounts are back up to. I’m still looking for the amount spent on HUD and other housing and handouts to the able bodies people that just well not go out and carry their weight.

But now after spending trillions and trillions of dollars and placing the nation in the deepest debt in world history Obama says it’s unsustainable and all I can do is say “Really?” and round my eyes.

Maybe he's planning on having ACORN run his socialist healthcare program so they can embezzle Trillions of $$$ instead of just Billions and make up Millions of fake voters that will all vote for THE ONE in the process.
