The Angry White Guy

Have you seen the latest movement being brought on by the great uniter? The “Buy Black” or as it’s being called “Empowerment Experiment”? My response to this is… whatever! This is not ‘unity’ as promised by “The ONE” this is another effort by the black community to further divide themselves away from the rest of the country. Now I ask you what would be said if some Whites promoted the ‘I’m only going to by from white merchants’? The nope, not going to buy from Hispanics, Indians, Blacks, Asians not going to buy anything from any business that isn’t a WHITE business. What would be said? I wonder.

Anyway a couple of excerpts from the article…

“The idea is a sound one, given that black Americans are still underrepresented in the ranks of the self-employed and that entrepreneurship is a key component to wealth,” Price said.

“We kind of enjoy the sacrifice because we get to make the point … but I am going without stuff and I am frustrated on a daily basis,” Maggie Anderson said. “It’s like, my people have been here 400 years and we don’t even have a Walgreens to show for it.”

Well bud you pick the wrong damn presidential administration to be pushing self-employed and entrepreneurship and it might interest you to know the Walgreens (NYSE:WAG) is a publicly held company and not owned by those evil whites, wise up genius. Anyone from any race can buy stock, including Blacks. Now let me tell you I’m a self-employed entrepreneur and it’s not all wealth and riches, it’s hard at times, it’s feast or famine. You learn to buy store brands, you haggle over a couple of bucks and you look for clearance aisles. You don’t look to see if the owner is Black or White you look to see who has the best price and by the way I’ve gotten great prices from independent merchants without ever stepping foot in Wal-Mart for several years now, buy American and you can’t do that at Wal-Mart. But I digress.

So what would happen if White American started promoting shopping at only White owned business only? What would happen if White American called for a boycott of Black owned business? After all saying you’re only going to shop at Black business is by default a boycott of White businesses, so what would happen if Whites did that? I’ll tell you what would happen you’d have Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan, Jeremiah Wright and Al “not so” Sharpton all marching around screaming racism and demanding that the Whites only buying from Whites or boycotting Blacks be charge with discrimination or maybe even a hate crime. They want congress to pass laws against or ask for bailouts of Black business due to the economic cruelty of the Whites.

If you’re Black and you’re reading this you might be thinking well this blog is called the “Angry White Guy” he must be a angry racist white guy… well that’s you’re fault for thinking that way and it’s makes you a racist for thinking it. See I’m sick of tip toeing around and not saying what so many think, we Whites are sick of busting our ass to get somewhere in life and being told we only got where we are at because we’re White that we’re somehow privileged simply because we possess that magical white skin, that’s pure bullcrap. Nothing was ever given to me because I was White, never a job, a promotion, a raise, nothing! I got what I got because I worked for it and not because I thought I was entitled to it because of my color. I’m so sick of that word ‘entitled’ you are entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and that’s it. You’re not entitled to house, car, food, money, health care or a job. We’re sick of having people use their skin color as an excuse, do you ever see Asians or Indians using their race as a crutch, no so why to a few Hispanics and a lot and I mean a LOT of Blacks do it?  Why? If you’re Black and you want to have a respectful dialog about it, ask me I’ll tell you what “whitey” really thinks. We’re sick of turning on the news and it nearly always a Black face on crime round up, we’re sick of seeing people of any color buy food with food stamps and go outside and get in a Cadillac. We’re sick of seeing people cry racism nearly every time they don’t get their way, we’re sick it and we’re sick of seeing your damn underwear so pull your baggy ass pants up, it’s not cool, it’s not fashionable , it’s not “your culture”, it’s stupid and that’s all it will ever be. We’re sick of seeing blacks have to have their own organizations, groups, college funds, farmer’s groups, holidays et etc is that unity?No it’s divisive.  And what the hell is Kwanzaa somebody tell me that? It’s damn made up holiday is what it is. Kwanzaa has it’s own damn postal stamp and I get get the government to make a stamp honoring those kill in Lebanon in Oct, 1983 which by the way included some Blacks.

“Buy Black”… like I said “whatever”! So let me tell you something Black America if you want to be on equal footing the the so-called White mans world, it’s really easy. First forget your Black or African-American and try being just an American. Let me let you in on a little secret, White people don’t run around think that their White all day and don’t give me that crap about how we’re not being reminded we’re White like Blacks are bing reminded they’re Black and don’t give me that crap it’s a Black thing you wouldn’t understand it’s tiring, it’s old and it’s bullcrap. I know no one that points out to Blacks they’re Black it not happening and you on;y see it because you look for it and when you can’t find it you make it up.

So why waste my value time addressing this ignorant racist movement? Well it’s a White thing you wouldn’t understand.

In a unrelated story in Alabama a Civil War era fraternity stages events in full southern dress. A former Black university alum says from the article…. ‘Old South’ frat targeted over Confederate event

“The only acceptable apology would come with a promise to discontinue this event and recognizing that such an activity is hurtful and divisive,” said Willie Mae Worthey, an Alabama native who graduated in 1995 and now lives in Nevada.

Divisive? Give me a break the Black community puts the division in divisive so quit looking for the division brought on by the White and look into your own house first.

I will always maintain that is you want equality in this country then loose all the race based, gender based, sexual orientation based laws in this country, they’re more divisive than the behaviors they try to prevent. The scales of justice will never be balanced when the laws are only on one side of the scale.
