Arlen “Sphincter” Specter who jumped the Republican ship in favor of the Democrat was today shafted by those very same Democrats that welcomed him with open arms. Specter switched parties partly on promises from the Democrat Leadership, Senate Majority Leader “Dingy” Harry Reid that he would maintain his Senate seniority in all committees.
Well call it karma but the 79 year old Arlen Specter will now be the junior member as a result of a “modified organizing resolution, Specter will not keep his committee seniority on any of the five committees that he serves on and will be the junior Democrat on all but one — the chamber’s Special Committee on Aging. On that committee, he will be next to last in seniority.”
Seem the grass isn’t always greener on the other side of the fence is it Arlen?
