Global Warming Ruled a Religion by British Judge
“In the first case of its kind, employment judge David Sneath said Tim Nicholson, a former environmental policy officer, could invoke employment law for protection from discrimination against him for his conviction that climate change was the world’s most important environmental problem.”
The judge ruled that Nicholson’s extreme green views fit the definition of “a philosophical belief under the Employment Equality (Religion and Belief) Regulations, 2003.” So strong were these “beliefs,” that they “put him at odds with other senior executives within the firm.”
Now I know you’re thinking that this is liberalism run amok, liberal madness, the inmates taking over the asylum, but think about it – if this was to happen in the USA and some wacky liberal judge ruled that Global Warming was a religion that would actually be good thing, because we have separation of church and state and the government could no longer enact environmental and life style regulations based on Global Warming as that would violate the US Constitution. That would in a sense remove the joker from their deck. So say buh-bye to CFL’s, Cap and Trade, Cafe Standards, Carbon Taxes etc etc etc.
So I agree Global Warming is a religion… make it so. But we need someone to sue and claim the Global Warming is their religion and they want equal protection… if the liberals want silly laws then I say we give it to them. Fight fire with fire I say… or would that be CO2 with CO2 or would it be… oh never mind.
Wonder if the libs know how this could back fire?
