Stop Breathing – EPA says: carbon dioxide (CO2) a pollutant.

The Obama administrations EPA today said that carbon dioxide (CO2) is a pollutant and poses a serious health risk to humans and the environment so stop breathing you’re killing yourself.

The US took a major step towards the introduction of wide-reaching climate change regulations on Friday, after the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) formally declared that carbon dioxide emissions present a danger to public health.

The landmark ruling gives the Obama administration the power to impose carbon regulations on carbon-intensive industries, even if its hopes for a nationwide emissions cap-and-trade are thwarted in Congress.

This should make you soil your pants as your energy cost are going to go through the roof, lets do something government can’t do and have a look at the facts…

What you need to know about carbon dioxide…

  • Carbon dioxide is used in beverage carbonation, so plan on paying more for those.
  • Industrial and municipal wastewater must be neutralized before being discharged to the environment. Carbon dioxide replaces harsher acids for the alkaline neutralization process, so plan on paying more for sewer and water.
  • Carbon dioxide is utilized as a shielding gas during welding, so plan on paying more for anything welded, like cars, frames, buildings, etc etc.
  • Carbon dioxide is being used for several different applications within paper mills, so paper is going to go up too.
  • Carbon dioxide is produced by yeast during the fermentation process, so anything fermented like beer, bread, cheese, bourbon, wine and the like will go up as well.
  • Carbon dioxide is the primary gas you exhale, so you need to stop breathing.
  • Per Pete’s Place – There is around 186 billion tons of CO2 that enter earth’s atmosphere each year from all sources, only 6 billion tons are from human activity. Approximately 90 billion tons come from biologic activity in earth’s oceans and another 90 billion tons from such sources as volcanoes and decaying land plants.

At 368 parts per million carbon dioxide CO2 is a minor constituent of earth’s atmosphere– less than 4/100ths of 1% of all gases present. Compared to former geologic times, earth’s current atmosphere is CO2- impoverished.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is odorless, colorless, and tasteless. Plants absorb CO2 and emit oxygen as a waste product. Humans and animals breathe oxygen and emit CO2 as a waste product. Carbon dioxide is a nutrient, not a pollutant, and all life– plants and animals alike– benefit from more of it. All life on earth is carbon-based and CO2 is an essential ingredient. When plant-growers want to stimulate plant growth, they introduce more carbon dioxide.

Anytime I want lush growth in my aquariums of the aquatic plants, I inject CO2 into the water and they thrive!

CO2 that goes into the atmosphere does not stay there but is continually recycled by terrestrial plant life and earth’s oceans– the great retirement home for most terrestrial carbon dioxide.

Declaring carbon dioxide a pollutant is the first step to killing the coal and gas industry and passing cap and trade tax. According to Phil Kerpen, Policy Director, Americans for Prosperity

The so-called cap-and-trade energy tax would, according to the president himself, force energy prices to go way up. In an unguarded moment, speaking to The San Francisco Chronicle last year, Obama said: “Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket… they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money on to consumers.”

The hardest hit will be those least able to pay: lower income families, who spend a disproportionate share of their income on energy.

The economic impact of imposing these huge new costs on energy consumers would be devastating. Even using the Obama administration’s own numbers, it would amount to a tax hike of $645.7 billion over the first 8 years, over $80 billion per year.

Not only would this cost be passed along to the end consumer for their personal use, the increased cost would also be passed on to the taxpayer through high energy cost for local, state and federal governments. Think about this…

Cap-and-Trade = The Biggest Tax Increase In U.S. History

An analysis commissioned by the American Council on Capital Formation and the National Association of Manufacturers projected the economic impact of last year’s bill by 2030: 3 to 4 million fewer jobs, $4,022 to $6,752 in lower annual disposable income per household, an annual hit to GDP of between $631 billion and $669 billion, and much higher energy prices — 60 percent to 144 percent higher for gasoline and 77 percent to 129 percent higher for electricity.

Can you afford to pay 60 percent to 144 percent higher for gasoline and 77 percent to 129 percent higher for electricity? I know I can’t. Remember is it more of this global warming alarmist BS, and what Washington tends to forget that if they’re going to buy into this garbage that it’s global warming not America warming.

Call your congressman and do it today.
