Gov Rick Perry of Texas has put his foot down on federal interference into States rights, in a story from a few days ago that I read and meant to mention says…
“I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state,” Perry said. “That is why I am here today to express my unwavering support for efforts all across our country to reaffirm the states’ rights affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I believe that returning to the letter and spirit of the U.S. Constitution and its essential 10th Amendment will free our state from undue regulations, and ultimately strengthen our Union.”

What you don’t know the 10th Amendment, well you must have gone to public schools. Allow me to enlighten you;
It says, “Each state retains its sovereignty, freedom, and independence, and every power, jurisdiction, and right, which is not by this Confederation expressly delegated to the United States, in Congress assembled.”
So Texas has declared itself a sovereign state and I say good for them, you can bet you bottom dollar that my Governor Little Stevie Beshear will never do that, he hasn’t got the gonads to do it, not to mention he is a lock step Democrat that will never forsake his messiah Obama. Why Beshear couldn’t get that stimulus money fast enough not knowing he is selling his soul to the devil of that is the Federal Government.
You go Governor Perry of the great state of Texas, it least I know why I have a lot of family there now, it just has common sense.
