I will admit it. I’ve watch the Daily Show more than a few times… I never understood why it’s called the Daily Show when it’s only on 4 days a week and half the time it’s reruns – that doesn’t seem like “Daily” to me. I guess in the liberal world working 4 out of 7 days and taking half of those off is daily.
Anyway, I’ll fess up Stewart can be clever and he can be funny I’ve listened to Steward rag on Fox and various conservative and I’ve laughed a few times – albeit I enjoy it more when he rags on liberals every forth blue moon, but Stewart’s ad nauseum attacks on Fox and conservatives are at first a little humorous – after all I don’t agree with every opinion or commentator on Fox and I can take a joke. I don’t agree with every conservative or everyone with an ‘R’ behind there name and I find some of the things they say prime comic material – but Stewart’s day after day and week after week, month after month of the same old jokes about Fox and conservative goes from somewhat humorous to annoying and final you just realize how really, really sad Steward’s life, staff and writers must be that their devotion to pure liberalism only affords them the opportunity to attack one target.
So I’ve given up watching Steward what little humor I found in his show including the jokes on ideologies that I subscribe to have grown old and tired. You just want to say “What’s up Jon, nothing funny, asinine or nutty on MSNBC tonight, this week or this month?” It’s really pathetic to me anymore.
