So yesterday I was outside working on landscaping redoing a three tier garden pond (I think I’ve lost at least 10 pounds or more) and I was listing to talk radio and on comes Tom Coburn talking about the “Gang of Six” plan… and while I didn’t hear every word he said I was moving stones I did hear something about reducing the size of government by 20% over the next 10 years and I thought WHAT? Reduce the size of government 20% over 10 years? Obama increased the size of government over 25% in his first year in office! Why take 10 years to cut 20%? Hell cut 20% this year and another 20% next year and another the year after that… what’s the damn hold up? Talk about a bad idea…
And today (stilling working on the pond it’s pretty big) I heard that they want to cap spending at CURRENT levels and again I say Obama has jacked spending about 25-30% since he took office – and my thoughts are since the libs think Clinton is oh so wonderful then roll back spending to Clinton levels of the 90′s. Capping spending at current levels is insane! We’re running a $1.6 trillion deficit this year and they want to cap spending at deficit levels? This idiot in the White House is running a $4.1 Billion debt every damn day!

I haven’t had time to look over the entire plan (what little that has leaked out) as there are to many plans and to many changes being made and frankly they will play this game down to the last minute and then run around screaming the sky is falling if we don’t do something RIGHT DAMN NOW! But here’s the deal we have a plan it’s called CUT, CAP and BALANCE and it’s the Gang of 245 plus million and millions of Americans and it’s been passed in the House. Vote on it in the Senate and if the Democrats kills it, it’s on their head.
I’m sick of these backroom plans that no one sees, hears about or sees until it’s been rammed down our throats.
But if that won’t do Cut, Cap and Balance then it’s simple pass a month to month debt ceiling, just enough to make the bills until something real is worked out and make Obama deal with it right up to the election when this assclown gets tossed out.
This is ridiculous, they all suck and I’m getting to the point I’m fed up with both sides of the aisle – the Gang of Six bill sucks, McConnell Plan suck and Cut, Cap and Balance doesn’t stand a chance until a lot of seat change hands, but voting on it will put the fault all in the Democrats lap.
Frankly I think we’re going to have to toss a lot of RINO’s out in 2012 in addition to a bunch of Liberals including Obama – otherwise this country is done.

The EPA killing your job so the Unions won’t have too…
(Judicial Watch) — The federal agency that’s spending a fortune to bring “environmental justice” to poor and minority communities around the U.S. has just dropped an additional $6.2 million to train low-income residents for “green jobs” in one city alone.
It’s all part of the Obama Administration’s costly crusade to help underserved populations obtain the same degree of protection from health and environmental hazards as their wealthy counterparts. Here’s how it works; the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) gives money to leftwing groups—including some dedicated to helping illegal immigrants—that teach black, Latino and indigenous folks how to recycle, reduce carbon emissions through “weatherization” and participate in “green jobs” training.
In the last few months alone the EPA has doled out nearly $10 million for environmental justice causes that include a multi million-dollar study on how pollution, stress and social factors affect “poor and underserved communities.” A New Jersey nonprofit (Lazos America Unida) that advocates on behalf of the “Mexican immigrant community” and a Missouri farm workers’ group that will increase awareness about the dangers of sun and heat exposure in migrant populations were among the recipients of that grant.
As if this weren’t bad enough, the EPA keeps wasting taxpayer dollars on these dubious causes. The latest allocation of $6.2 million will go to 21 “community groups” that will “recruit, train and place unemployed, predominately low-income residents in polluted areas” in Atlanta. Uncle Sam’s investment will “create good, green jobs that protect the health of local families and residents and prepare communities for continued economic growth,” according to Obama’s EPA chief, Lisa Jackson.
So I guess if we cut this spending we not only hate the poor, but we’re racist too? Is there no end to the waste?
The intentions of Democrats are only the best. They want all of the old to have lavish retirements, all of the young to have scholarships, verse-penning cowboys to have festivals funded by government, and everyone to have access to all the best health care, at no cost to himself. In the face of a huge wave of debt swamping all western nations, this is the core of their argument: They want a fair society, and their critics do not; they want to help, and their opponents like to see people suffer; they want a world filled with love and caring, and their opponents want one of callous indifference, in which the helpless must fend for themselves. (“We must reject both extremes, those who say we shouldn’t help the old and the sick and those who say that we should,” quips the New Yorker’s Hendrik Hertzberg.) But in fact, everyone thinks that we “should” do this; the problem, in the face of the debt crisis, is finding a way that we can. It is about the “can” part that the left is now in denial: daintily picking its way through canaries six deep on the floor of the coal mine, and conflating a “good” with a “right.”
Ever since Franklin D. Roosevelt linked “freedom from want” to “freedom of speech” and “freedom of worship,” the left has been talking of everything that it thinks would be nice to have in terms of an utter and absolute right: a right to a job and a right to an income, a right to retire in comfort in Florida, a right to the most advanced health care without paying much for it, and a right to have your children taken care of while you work all day at your job. The problem is that these are all goods and services, though of varying importance, and goods and rights are not the same things. People tend to concur upon rights (except for the speech rights of those who oppose them), and they do not depend upon others to supply and pay for their rights. With goods, there is always a political argument: about the value of the good, who is to get it and who is to pay. And all this comes down to the question of “fairness,” about which there is no end of disputation and grief.
And on nothing does the rights/goods division loom larger than on the issue of health care. Rights come from nature, and cost no one money, but good health in nature is rare. It is only thanks to human ingenuity over centuries and billions of dollars of effort that we have been able to conquer illnesses not long ago fatal, rebuild bodies broken in war or by accidents, postpone or ameliorate the problems of aging, and bring people back from the dead. The roll call of miracles that surrounds us today—the vaccines and the pills that have vanquished infections, the devices that let amputees run marathons, the organ transplants and the open heart surgeries, the techniques that replace hips, knees, and heart valves, not to mention the treatments that make so many public men cancer survivors, that saved Bob Dole years ago, are saving Dick Cheney, and once kept John Kennedy able to function—all of these are the result of the time, sweat, and strain of doctors and nurses, technicians and scientists, inventors and makers of drugs and devices, administrators of hospitals and large corporations, whose time is expensive, and who need to be paid.
Paid by whom, one may ask? Not by the patient alone, as the cost of a serious illness or accident overwhelms the resources of all but a few. They are paid by the state, or a private insurer, which in turn are funded by citizens, through taxes, or premiums paid.

Well I’ve been in the heat of the south all week, but I haven’t been running from the law and additionally I got a new and really cool Stanton Turntable back on Fathers Day and I’ve going through tons of old LP’s, 45′s and 78′s and I found a few recording of some of the old songs used in ‘O Brother, Where Art Thou?’ so I thought I’d make it the movie of the week… by the way vinyl sounds better than digital.

So the movie…
Loosely based on Homer’s ‘Odyssey’ the movie deals with the picaresque adventures of Everett Ulysses McGill and his companions Delmar and Pete in 1930s Mississipi. Sprung from a chain gang and trying to reach Everetts home to recover the buried loot of a bank heist they are confronted by a series of strange characters. Among them sirens, a cyclops, bank robber George ‘Babyface’ Nelson (very annoyed by that nickname), a campaigning Governor, his opponent, a KKK lynch mob, and a blind prophet, who warns the trio that “the treasure you seek shall not be the treasure you find.”
Obama is a Chicago thug game player… most people know this so why does the GOP continue to fall for his games? Surely they aren’t just that stupid? Obama wants to talk at the White House… DON’T he is playing home turf tactics, this is why he wanted to go to Camp David to further isolate the GOP from their base and get them deeper into his territory and bully them… it’s an old tactic just like getting call into someone office instead of them coming to yours. It’s a power play.
Obama is slimy and anyone that grew up going to county fairs knows what it is like to try and catch a greased pig and that’s a Obama, a greased pig… just today Jake Tapper tried to get Obama to comment to an answer on what would he cut and he said that he had made his position clear and there was no need to rehash it… well what is it? Tapper should have pressed harder for Obama to reiterate what his spending cuts are… he has never mentioned any because Obama doesn’t want to cut spending he wants to spend more! He is a greased pig and you can catch a greased pig it just takes a while.
Think about it – we are over 800 days without the democrats putting forth a budget, no details, nothing and they talk about it like you can pull it up and read it… this is Obama’s trick. He acts like he knows what the plan is and you should too even though he has never put forth one. It’s old and tiring.
Obama hasn’t offered any specifics at all, nothing! Make him offer up real black and white ideas instead of empty platitudes of nothingness. Obama has done this his entire political career – just like “hope and change” – I asked 3 years ago and I’m asking today – what the hell is that? What is hope and change? It’s empty ass words that mean nothing and everything, Obama has made a career out of being a blank canvas people dumb enough to fall for it can paint anything on and believe it.
He’s an empty vessel so don’t play his game – he is actually easy to out maneuver so do it. You just paint him into a corner with his own empty rhetoric.
Closing thought… If raising taxes grow the economy according to idiots like Obama… then why do state and local government give tax incentives to business to locate and create jobs? Seems to me they should double there taxes and they’ll create twice as many jobs right? Isn’t that how the liberal mind works?
First Obama said he had 100′s of 1000′s of dollars he didn’t need… well give it me I need it and I’ll open a business or two and create some real jobs and taxpayers. Something this nutsack hasn’t done a day in his life.
I’m sick of these political patty-cake games in Washington… Obama whines about corporate jet tax breaks that if eliminated would save $3 billion over 10 years. This huge saving from a man that has added $5 trillion to the debt in 2 1/2 years. Even Eric Cantor plan to cut spending $2 Trillion of 10 years isn’t going to do it. So what would I cut? Where do we trim the fat?
Well here are a few of my ideas…
I’d eliminate the job killing EPA that has done more to end American jobs than any other agency.
I’d eliminate the Department of Energy created by Jimmy Carter to end our dependency on foreign oil – I think 35 years later we can call it a complete failure, just like Carter.
I’d eliminate the Department of Education that has never educated anyone and turn it back over to the states. Standardized testing is a joke and sham (think Atlanta).
What about a flat tax and send the IRS packing.
How about the TSA and let airlines be responsible for safety… it’s their planes, pilots, workers and liability.

OK the abolish the following – Election Assistance Commission, Department of Health and Human Services, United States African Development Foundation, Bureau of Reclamation, Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion, U.S. Commission of Fine Arts, Department of Homeland Security, National Labor Relations Board, Community Development Block Grants, National Public Broadcasting, National Endowment for the Arts.
Repeal ObamaCare, fire the Czars, cut Moochelle Obama staff and while we’re at it ground Air Force One and cut the White House budget by 95%, have congress and the clown in the White House work for free until they sovle the debt problem and if they don’t like it – quit and get some Americans in there that will do it for the country and not the money.
And I hear if there is a government shut down all non essential personal and departments will have to be laid off or shut down… well if they are NON FREAKING ESSENTIAL why do we need them at all when we have a 14 trillion dollar deficit? Close them up, send them packing and have a yard sale!
I’m not done… cull Medicaid, cull SSI, cull Section 8, cull every government hand out there is and get rid of the moochers and slackers sucking at the government tit – help those that need help and give a switf kick in the ass to those that need one and I’ll guarantee you their are more that need a kick in the ass than really need help.

Eliminate all foreign aid, close the military bases in Germany, Korea, Japan those wars have been over for freaking 60 and 70 years already! Get our ass out of Iraq and tell these camel jockeys they owe us several $100 billion in oil at a discounted rate and same goes for those ungrateful bastard in Kuwait from the first Gulf War. Then I’d go to Afghanistan and I spray RoundUp over every inch of that rat hole and kill every poppy plant for a 1000 miles around and if Pakistan says a word – do the same to them. The hell with multi-million dollar smart bombs – drop some herbicide on their drug crops it’s their only export aside from terrorism!
It time the government get some skin in the game and suffer the pains of cutbacks like the average American does. We can no long afford massive bureaucracy of layer and layer of government.
I could go on and on and on with cuts… last thought – George Washington had 13 states and one staff member he paid out of his own pocket… we have 50 states now (or 60 if you’re Obama) so logically the president should only need 4 staff members not 100′s. If it was good enough for Washington it should be good enough for Dopey.

That my friend is a 60% rate increase in one fail swoop anyway you slice it… 60 FREAKING PERCENT!! And they have the nerve to tell me I don’t need to do anything? My ass I don’t need to anything – I need to call them and tell them to kiss my firm and ever so attractive hairy ass. A 60% rate hike and I’ve had more service down with streaming in the last few months than I ever had in the past!
Last September they jacked the rates up $2.00 – OK two bucks ($24/yr) I can deal with that, but to jack it up less than a year later another six dollars ($72/yr) effectively doubling the price in less than a year… I don’t think so! That’s a 100% increase in the last year and I can tell you the selection and service hasn’t increased 100% in fact the service and wait time has gotten longer. When I dumped Blockbuster I had a number of movie on a wait list and when I joined Netflix nothing was on a wait list (same titles)… since then I now have about 10 movie with a long wait or a very long wait and several have fallen to unavailable. How is that better than what I had… it’s not, because I dump Blockbuster for raising rates and not improving service or selection.
Netflix is now doing the very same thing.
Really it’s simple math…
Currently $9.99 + $.060 tax x 12 = $127.08/yr
After hike $15.98 + $0.96 tax x 12 = 203.28/yr
That’s a year rate hike of $76.20 … can I afford an extra $76.20 a year, yes – is it worth an extra $76.20 a year…. NO! And it comes down to value… one at time DVD mailer rental is not worth $76 to me. They use to turn movies pretty fast, but it’s gotten slower in the past few months – I use to turn 8+ movies a month not I’m down to 4 or 5 at most.
On reading Netflix blog there was over 5000 comments, on their Netflix page there is 17,000 comment as of this writing and I haven’t seen a single one in support of Netflix 60% increase… in fact many are saying they are cancelling. Now how many will in the end I don’t know, but I know I’ll drop the DVD’s for sure and if the streaming doesn’t improve I’ll drop that too.
Seems Netflix is like the government – they want to improve their economy while killing yours – granted it’s not a lot of money but it all adds up and a few bucks here and a few bucks there and you’re talking serious cash. In fact I know a lot of people that can’t afford an extra $72 in their budget right now.
It seems Eric Holder lied to congress… perjury if you will and that is a felony (18 U.S.C. § 1001 : US Code – Section 1001: Statements or entries generally)
See Eric “Liar” Holder told congress that he knew nothing about Operation “Fast and Furious” AKA Operation Gunwalker AKA Project Gunrunner. Frankly, I think that have all these different names to give themselves cover and excuses… they say they are all different operations but they all go back to the drug war and the ATF and Eric Holder of which Holder claims he just found out about it…

Two American law enforcement agents killed because of these gunrunning project… but they say it’s not to control gun sales… no, no, no! It’s to track weapons… BUT they never put a single tracking device in any weapon… not a beeper, not a GPS, not a homing device… NOTHING! Tracking weapons my ass it was for stricter gun control and to hell with who gets killed! Holder lied and if it was budgeted in the Stimulus Plan then IMHO by default Obama knew about it too and and also in my lowly opinion they need to go to jail, at least Holder does as he is on record lying to congress.

Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and Special Agent Jaime Zapata from ICE both died from weapons that were sent to Mexico from the United States. There is no knowledge as to how many lives the U.S. weapons smuggling programs claimed in Mexico.
(SALEM, Ore.) – New information indicates that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder’s actions are squarely behind the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms) operation known as “Fast and Furious”, which orchestrated the delivery of almost 2,000 weapons to Mexican drug cartels[1].
Holder openly proclaimed his connection to the operation in April 2009 during a publicized speech in Mexico, then told a Congressional Committee in May 2011, “I probably heard of Fast and Furious the first time in the last few weeks.”[2]
The ATF weapons smuggling ring involved the arrest of several government officials with the city of Columbus, New Mexico including the mayor and police chief, but that is all[3].
They were apparently known from the beginning and the weapons deals with ‘straw buyers’ were videotaped. Smuggled U.S. weapons from this operation, described as mostly semi automatic versions of military weapons like the AK-47, were found to be used in the shooting deaths of two U.S. federal agents.
The new information, which is not really new at all, proves that Holder had to be aware of the U.S. government weapons smuggling operation planned and implemented by federal agents from ATF which he denied to Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) less than two months ago, as detailed below.
Holder needs to go and he needs to stand trail for lying to congress and the American people and furthermore – at the very least he needs to explain in person the the families of Terry and Zapata why they died? And if I was a liberal I’d say Holder needs to be tried to murder, but he can’t and I’m not – so I’m not going to make those wild ass statements.
In my opinion I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that the primary reason of Operation Fast and Furious was to have tangible evidence that American guns were causing multiple deaths in the Mexican drug war and because of that we need to crack down on guns all across the land. Liberals hate guns (weird since all the movies and games they make are full of them) – Obama hates guns and he hates middle American clinging to their guns and religion and he’d like nothing better than to take them away and and flip middle America the bird.
I don’t think it’s any surprise to anyone that the Obama administration of corrupt and full of liars, cheaters and thief’s – but this band of miscreants needs to go, I’m sick of all of them.
