California’s criminal alien population rises
This isn’t cheap. Nationwide, the Government Accountability Office reports, it costs well over $1.1 billion a year for states to imprison criminal aliens — those who committed a crime after entering the United States illegally. California, moreover, is more expensive than other states. GAO auditors estimated California spends $34,000 to incarcerate a criminal alien for one year; in Texas, it’s only $12,000.
It would be great – no guards needed, no fences needed and we could air drop building supplies and figure out how to stay warm in the cold, cold Alaskan winter. They could live off if seal fat or Polar Bear meat or eat each other – problem solved and it would cost $34,000.00 per prisoner… it wouldn’t cost $15,000.00 per prisoner – I’m guessing we could do it for less than a $100 each.
There will be not weight sets, no video games, no cable TV, no phone, no electricity … not a single luxury. It’s prison and it suppose to a vacation from work. I bet you’d cut down on repeat offenders.
