Michelle and I extend our warmest thoughts and wishes to all those who are celebrating Kwanzaa this holiday season. Today [Dec. 26] is the first of a joyful seven-day celebration of African American culture and heritage.

The seven principles of Kwanzaa — unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity and faith — are some of the very values that make us Americans.

As families across America and around the world light the Kinara today in the spirit of umoja, or unity, our family sends our well wishes and blessings for a happy and healthy new year.

Might I remind you Kwanzaa is a MADE UP BLACK’S ONLY racist holiday in 1966 by a Black convicted felon who believed in Black separatism.

The phony holiday was invented by convicted torturer Ron Everett, aka Maulana Karenga of United Slaves, a Marxist black power cult so radical that they resorted to murder in their competition with the Black Panthers.

When Karenga was asked to distinguish Kawaida, the philosophy underlying Kwanzaa, from “classical Marxism,” he essentially explained that under Kawaida, we also hate whites. While taking the “best of early Chinese and Cuban socialism” — which one assumes would exclude the forced abortions, imprisonment of homosexuals and forced labor — Kawaida practitioners believe one’s racial identity “determines life conditions, life chances and self-understanding.”

In other words, Kwanzaa is the worship of moonbattery at its most destructive, which is why progressives prefer it to Christmas.

The day after Christmas, many black Americans will begin to celebrate the festival of Kwanzaa. The celebration will continue until the first day of January. Kwanzaa observances will be held at universities, local community centers, end even public schools. While many blacks and some whites will join in these Kwanzaa events, few will be aware of their actual origins.

Many believe that Kwanzaa is an ancient African tradition. While that was exactly the intent of the holiday’s founder–it is completely false. Kwanzaa was actually invented by a 1960′s black radical named Dr. Maulana Karenga (born Ron Everett).

In 1978, Karenga told The Washington Post: “People think it’s African, but it’s not. I came up with Kwanzaa because black people in this country wouldn’t celebrate it if they knew it was American. Also, I put it around Christmas because I knew that’s when a lot of bloods [blacks] would be partying.”

At the core of Kwanzaa is what Karenga deems his “Seven Principles of Blackness.” They are as follows: think black, talk black, act black, create black, buy black, vote black, and live black. Similar redundancy and racism can also be found in the doctrine of the White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.

Karenga, once the leader of a group called the United Slaves Organization is a black racist and has never made any attempt to hide that fact. He is also a very violent man.

During the 1970′s, Karenga spent four years in prison for the brutal imprisonment and torture of two of his female followers (Deborah Jones and Gail Davis). Karenga beat the women with a karate baton and an electrical cord. He permanently disfigured one of the women, by inserting a soldering iron into her mouth.

During the incredibly brutal attack, ‘Father Kwanzaa’ also poured detergent into the mouths of both women. This man would have been well-suited as a North Vietnamese Army prison guard. Perhaps, he missed his true calling.

In addition to Karenga’s hatred, his logic in creating Kwanzaa is rather flawed. During my research of Karenga, I happened upon a 1999 article written by Paul Mulshine.

Mr. Mulshine made two very astute observations on the fabricated holiday…Though Kwanzaa is a harvest festival, it takes place during the winter solstice, long after the last harvest of the season has taken place. Equally puzzling is the fact that Karenga chose Swahili words for the festival aimed at black Americans, while nearly all are descended from the peoples of West Africa, where Swahili is not spoken.

A few years ago, I was invited to return to my elementary school for a Christmas carol service. Following the event at a local church, we all headed back to the tiny school for a reception. As I was catching up with old friends, my eye caught a most disturbing sight–a sign which declared “Happy Kwanzaa.” I thought My God! Even my old school (which is private) has been duped!

President Bush even honored the “holiday” in 2002, with a Presidential Proclamation. In doing so, he joined the ranks of the racist Al Sharpton. On Christmas Eve 1971, a young Sharpton expressed his approval for Kwanzaa to the New York Times. Sharpton said that the festival would go a long way toward “de-whitizing” Christmas.

Christian conservative leader and author of “SCAM: How the Black Leadership Exploits Black America,” Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson wants blacks to see themselves as Americans, not “African-Americans” and to reject the celebration he sees as racist.

Peterson recently said of Kwanzaa: “Get rid of it. Reject it completely. Just as we would do if a white racist came up with a false holiday to celebrate whiteness.”

Contrary to liberal beliefs, Christmas is not a “season” nor is it a “happy holiday.” It is in fact, the day which marks the birth of Jesus Christ.

Kwanzaa, however, is simply bunk and serves no purpose other than further divide the country along racial lines, and drive many black Americans away from the true meaning of Christmas.

Kwanzaa is simply the product of a delusional liberal mind…Not unlike global warming.
