Cash for Clunkers is out of gas or OBAMA’S FAILED POLICY

RIP Cash for Clunkers we barely knew you… yep about 4 days after it was begun it was killed due to poor government estimates and management. The program designed by Obama to take old cars off the road, you know cars that most poor people could afford and grind them up so that those poor people either have to walk because they’re fat or they can only buy a clunker over 25 years old that’s difficult to find parts for.

Brakes put on ‘cash for clunkers’ plan

The government is suspending the explosively popular ‘cash for clunkers’ program at midnight tonight fearing it would go broke before it could parcel out what it still owes dealers for a huge backlog of sales.

More about Obama’s FAILED policy here…
http://www.cars.gov/

Here is the question I have… if the Obama administration can’t properly run the CASH FOR CLUNKERS then how on earth are they going to run National Health Care? Just another OBAMA FAILED POLICY and the answer is they can’t.

Other may agree..
Did ‘Cash for Clunkers’ just put Obamacare on the junk heap? Update: House adds $2 billion more to re-start the program
‘If they can’t administer program like this, I’d be concerned about health insurance’…

I guess that they “underestimated” that too? It seems to me the Obama administration makes a striking number of math errors and yet there are still some people that think they can reform Health Care effectively. Wake up kids “The One” is in WAY OVER his big arrogant head.

Oh and as a side note the Government will not even allow salvage of these cars, so if you have a old cars you’re holding on to… forget getting parts for it.. that is unless you want some substandard Chinese ripoff part that is likely to fail. (Never buy Chinese after market parts unless you are a daredevil, you are risking your life.)

UPDATE: The Fed’s are rushing to pump an extra $2,000,000,000.00 into the program.
House Racing to Pass $2 Billion Bill to Boost ‘Cash for Clunkers’ Program
Now if they ran out of the first billion in 4 days exactly how long will an additional two billion bucks last? Well if I pullout and use my trusty Obama calculator I’m guessing about 40 years. (Liberal Alert that’s sarcasm.)

More here…
Cash for clunkers junked…but dealer ads still running; Feds try to salvage
Cash for clunkers runs out of money … after one week; Update: Feds scramble to save program

Another UPDATE..
Just a reminder: Cash for Clunkers requires destroying perfectly usable cars

Dumbing us down

So I was watching some YouTube videos from 10,000PENNIES who quite cleverly visualizies how much money is really being spent, being saved or jobs being lost or created, because as the guy that makes these videos points out humans have a big problem with big numbers, they’re just hard to get your mind around. So while I was watching them I showed my teenager a couple and said what do you think?

They replied “Looks like Obama is trying to dumb us down so he can be a dictator.” … makes a Dad proud.

Here is a one for your viewing pleasure…

(O2I2) Obama Office of Imaginary Information savings report

image5177300x

The O2I2 (Obama Office of Imaginary Information) has released their saving report, what report? Well remember when Obama was going to slash $100,000,000.00 from the budget or about 1/27,000th%? Which for the mathematically challenged that is the “equivalent of cutting a foot-long submarine sandwich from the budget of a construction worker making $60,000 a year” to quote the AP and they did it they’ve made up over a $100 million in cuts just to impress you. So lets dig a little and see what we find…

But first past post about this garbage…
$100 Million is a lot of money, $8 Billion not so much.

Good News budget SLASHED by 1/27,000%

And from the APObama in a moment of sanity…
Obama delivers on pledge for $100 million in cuts

YES HE DID… so let’s have a look at some of the slashing and cutting of the budget.
APPENDIX: List of Recommended Savings (by agency)

The Agriculture Department’s agency for animal and plant inspection canceled a meeting in Australia

Why they thought they need to go to Australia for meeting we may never know.

Commerce Department scrapped $131,000 worth of unnecessary office renovations

If they were unnecessary why were they being done?

Federal Emergency Management Agency is turning over 120,000 temporary housing units called “Katrina cottages” to the General Services Administration for maintenance and disposal, saving $3.8 million in “operational savings.”

Here is an idea… sell the damn “cottages” Katrina was what, 4 years ago shouldn’t these people be back on their feet and off the government tit by now? I’m sorry they lost their homes and all but 4 years… let get a move on.

Several agencies are making greater efforts to go “paperless” whenever possible

And we weren’t doing this already, why?

The Treasury Department will shred and recycle classified materials rather than burn them, saving $40,000 this year.

Will they get carbon credits for that? Surely Al gore will be impressed.

The Justice Department will save an estimated $4 million next year making travel arrangements online, rather than using travel agents.

And all these years ignoring William Shatner… the shame. Seriously this is innovative and something as large as the government doesn’t have it’s own travel agency?

The Air Force will install 2,800 compact fluorescent light bulbs, reducing electricity costs by $36,000 a year.

Oh so you’re going to practice what you preach on the CFL and you want a cookie. How long has the government been preaching CFL’s.

HUD proposes to reduce HUD’s energy consumption by turning off lights during non-working hours

What? Turning off lights during none working hours? Oh the madness of these cuts, what ever will the mice do in the dark?

Various bureaus within Treasury will achieve savings of approximately $0.6 million due to a number of energy efficiency measures, including upgrading a lighting system, shutting off computer systems when not in use, and turning off air conditioning systems during the evenings and weekends. Treasury has also renegotiated its electrical power purchasing agreement at a lower rate.

Turning off the A/C when no one is there… OMG but they might come into a hot building. God these people are idiots.

Navy: make corporate software purchases
Where appropriate, change to corporate purchase of enterprise-wide software licenses, instead of purchasing more expensive individual licenses.

Once again these is just insane, the NAVY that has a ship called the USS Enterprise in fact they’ve had several by this name and just figured out you can get cheaper software rates by buying enterprise-wide software licenses… as a veteran I feel save in saying these are our best and brightest?

Navy: eliminate inactive internet/intranet accounts Delete inactive computer accounts, thereby reducing the number of inactive accounts and the costs to manage them.

Eliminate inactive internet/intranet accounts and delete inactive computer accounts… is your head exploding yet that this wasn’t being done already?

Army: automated vendor payments (wide area workflow) WAWF is a system that automates payments to vendors. The savings results from the fact that it costs the Defense Financial Accounting System (DFAS) less to process electronic transactions than manual transactions. The savings should be seen in a reduction of the Army’s annual bill from DFAS.

This one I don’t like at all if  you go to automatic payments you get automatic fraud, computers don’t know a bogus charge or detect double billing.

As a first step in converting lighting fixtures from compact fluorescent lighting (CFL) to more energy-efficient light-emitting diodes (LEDs), EPA has begun a pilot project

Oh hell no… we’re being forced to switch to CFL’s on the general public now you’re coming up with LED’s? Can’t we all save money by just basking in “The One’s” glow? BUT WAIT… Here is what they aren’t telling you is how much LED BULBS cost and is that cost factored into their alleged savings? FYI LED BULBS are about $40 a piece.

The IRS will eliminate unnecessary inserts and mailings to taxpayers. Eliminating the nearly dozen inserts that are included in notices to businesses informing them that they owe additional tax will save approximately $1 million. An additional $1.3 million will be saved by eliminating informational inserts when duplicate copies of taxpayer notices are mailed to the representatives of those taxpayers.

Let’s save zillions and eliminate the IRS, there’s a plan.

Treasury will consolidate IT contract support and eliminate unnecessary telephone lines for a savings of nearly $4 million.

Eliminate unnecessary telephone lines?? How about we eliminate unnecessary government employees like Timothy Geithner.

Paper and toner conservation A large number of DOJ copiers and printers can be configured to automatically print double-sided. Increasing the frequency of double-sided printing will reduce paper consumption and lower costs.

OMG you mean the back side of the paper is blank and it can be printed on too? Who’d ever thunk it.

DOJ is streamlining its process for paying credit card bills, saving an estimated $2 million annually.

How much would we save if you took their credit cards away?

HUD proposes to remove 60 HUD kiosks that have outlived their usefulness, thereby saving maintenance costs.

Hasn’t HUD itself out lived it’s usefulness? Think of the billions we’d save getting rid of them.

ED is eliminating a contract with outside providers to conduct Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) training to education community stakeholders. Instead, the Department will be using existing staff to conduct the training. This will result in savings of $70,000 for FY09.

OH kind of like every business is the country does… using in-house employees to train other employees, genius!

It goes on identifying more of these innovative and revolutionary cost cutting ideas that are common freaking sense for 95% of the public and then people wonder why we have a $12,000,000,000,000.00 deficit. They have a total of 77 ideas listed to cut cost and save money, I’d be interested to know how many of them where implemented and not just purposed let’s see a follow up report in 6 months as to a progress report and I’m willing to bet they are still spending money to studying ways to cut cost. This is more smoke and mirrors and I’m willing to bet little to none are ever implemented or completed.

Not that Obama would lie… oh no.

Because you’re suppose to…

Spin Democrats Spin… when the truth is just to painful.

Yep the Democrats are creating job and the recession is over (according the CNN and Newsweek) so rejoice the messiah has saved the planet, the economy, the country, the universe and all things yet to be discovered, it’s a happy-happy day… or is it? Recently in Oregon they create via the $787 BILLION stimulus plan or as I perfer to call it “a waste of money” allegedly 3,236 new jobs!! Well yeah, hip-hip-hooray yippy.. woohoo… hold on a tick, wait a minute and hold the phone those shiny new jobs only lasted on average 35 hours for one week, not 35 hours a week… just 35 hours total and that’s it. WTF? That’s not a job! Good gawd I’m been at parties that lasted longer than that, but never fear your trusty Democrats have spun it into over 3200 new jobs and before the propaganda ink was dry those jobs were over and the blessed worker back on the unemployment roles.

From the APObama … YES! The AP (I know, I’m shocked too)…
SPIN METER: ‘Help Wanted’ counting stimulus jobs

How much are politicians straining to convince people that the government is stimulating the economy? In Oregon, where lawmakers are spending $176 million to supplement the federal stimulus, Democrats are taking credit for a remarkable feat: creating 3,236 new jobs in the program’s first three months.

But those jobs lasted on average only 35 hours, or about one work week. After that, those workers were effectively back unemployed, according to an Associated Press analysis of state spending and hiring data. By the state’s accounting, a job is a job, whether it lasts three hours, three days, three months, or a lifetime.

Others say…
Spin Me a New Job- Call it What You Want, Stimulus Jobs May Be Just That- Spin via Zero Hedge
Wow so were those 35 total hour jobs created or saved? Some call the O2I2 (Obama Office of Imaginary Information) What a joke, 35 hours and they claim recovery and if you’re keeping note the national unemployment rate under Obama is 9.7% and in the state in question; Oregon it’s 12.1% just so you know.

Back to the Spin Meter…

“At best you can say it’s ambiguous, at worst you can say it’s intentional deception,” said economist Bruce Blonigen of the University of Oregon. “You have to normalize it into a benchmark that everybody can understand.”

Hey Bruce we’re talking about Democrats here so let’s go with the intentional deception and as far as normalizing is concerned I call a spade a spade and this is a lie plain and simple.

(Attention overly sensitive liberal loons a “spade” is a shovel as in shovel ready projects and everything about the Obama administration is shovel ready… but you ‘urbanites’ like miss the reference. Think Soda-Manure.

I can’t wait for 2010 when Obama tries to take credit for created jobs to perform the census… you watch him he will.

More from the Commander and Hypocrite

obamaon_health_care copyNot that anyone every listened to Randi Rhodes (OMG what a homely child) radio show back in 2004 however Obama said and let’s quote…

Obama 2004: Bush Rushed Legislation Through Congress Without Allowing Time to Read Or Debate

BARACK OBAMA: …When you rush these budgets that are a foot high and nobody has any idea what’s in them and nobody has read them.

RANDI RHODES: 14 pounds it was!

BARACK OBAMA: Yeah. And it gets rushed through without any clear deliberation or debate then these kinds of things happen. And I think that this is in some ways what happened to the Patriot Act. I mean you remember that there was no real debate about that. It was so quick after 9/11 that it was introduced that people felt very intimidated by the administration.

So now Obama who rushed, rushed, rushed the Porkulus Bill and he wanted to rush, rush Cap and Tax and now he wants to rush Health Care… and he himself said he felt bullied [very intimidated] by the Bush administration do go rushing bills through. Well who’s the bully now? But as Obama is so arrogantly fond of pointing out he has a great health care plan and even has a  and so does congress… but this rationed crap should be good enough for you.

So today Obama went out the lied to the AARP which has come to mean the “America Against Retired People” because AARP supports and backs this thing and the majority of seniors do not. The plan on the table right now will ration your care, it will be a bureaucratized nightmare of government drones deciding if you are of a benefit to the collective and if you are WORTH saving.

Rationing Your Care: Another centerpiece to Obamacare is the creation of a federal health board that will ration your health care. Obama supporter and infanticide advocate Peter Singer made the case for rationing health care recently in the New York Times, writing: “The task of health care bureaucrats is then to get the best value for the resources they have been allocated.” Conservatives in Congress have given Obamacare supporters every opportunity to disavow government-rationed health care, but Obamacare supporters have voted down every anti-rationing amendment proposed. Make no mistake, Obama plans to pay for expanded coverage for the young and healthy by denying treatments to the old and sick. Americans can do better.

There is no question that America’s $2.4 trillion health care system needs to be reformed. But it should not be done on the backs of America’s seniors. Conservatives have a better vision for health care reform that cuts health care costs by reforming the tax system, enabling true health care competition, and giving families control of their health care dollars.

Yes it needs reforming and I’ve laid it out before, but government is not capable of doing it… government has never ran a damn thing efficiently. And don’t forget CONGRESS HAS EXEMPTED THEMSELVES FROM THIS PLAN… I’m going to drum this FACT until the cows come home… and I will vote against anyone that votes for this plan or I’ll help their opponent if they aren’t on my ballot.

This bad bill is 1017 pages long and only 93 members of congress have signed a pledge to read it… all REPUBLICANS… not one single DEMOCRATS that want this bill so badly have agreed to read it. Throw the bums out. They’re to go for this plan and it would seem that they are to good to read it or to lazy to read it.

What’s in the BILL? Well that’s a good question. So far from what I can tell…

Rationed Health Care
Loss of Dr/Patient relations
Over a half trillion in new taxes
End of Life Counseling (Maybe it’d be better if you just check out.)
Government Control
Penalties for not having their Health Care up to 8% business tax or 2.5% tax of your personal gross

Here some more…
Critics of Health Reform Concerned Over Government’s Role in End of Life Issues

Iowa Republican Senator Charles Grassley says end of life decisions should be strictly between patients, families and doctor — and that many fear some ideas in these bills can lead to the government influencing that decision making.

“That’s unethical as far as I’m concerned,” said Grassley.

But Obama affirms that nobody will be forced to make a set of decisions on end-of-life care based on “some bureaucratic law in Washington.”

Do you believe Obama? I don’t, the guy that wasn’t going to hire lobbyist and he did, the guy that said he wouldn’t raise ANY taxes on those earn under $250K and he did, he said there would be transparency and there isn’t, he said you’d get 5 days to read a bill online and you haven’t, he said he’d be bipartisan and he’s not just to name a few… what he has done is he has lied and lied and lied and he’s lying now to you. Don’t trust him any further than you can throw him as he is nothing more than a Chicago back ally street thug.

And now the Obama CDC is looking at your kitchen table because you might be a tubby-tubby 2X4 and that’s got to change (you can believe in)…
CDC Chief: Soda Tax Could Combat Obesity
Tough love for fat people: Tax their food to pay for healthcare

Let me be the first to say to look at really, really FAT person and I’m talking the fatty-fat-fats… you know who you are is not my first choice of things to do, but damn if you want to cram your face non-stop every day with Ho-Ho’s and Ding Dongs then that’s your busy and who am I to stop you. All I ask is 2 things 1.) Don’t set next to me on a plane and 2.) Don’t clean out the buffet! Leave something for the rest of us. But that’s not enough for Obama… you’re fat and you cost the government money so you need to slim down and/or pay.

So here is what they want to do on this health care crap… TAX the chunky-butt people for eating chunky-butt foods, TAX sugary drinks, TAX those that made a buck, TAX, TAX, TAX, TAX, TAX and completely kill the economy… I just wonder if the economy will get Hospice care under Obama’s plan.

Now here is some irony… the government cites a recent national poll found that 53% of Americans said they favored an increased tax on sodas and sugary soft drinks to help pay for healthcare reform, meanwhile 57% of the people don’t want healthcare reform. Go figure…

Why read the bill? Maybe it’s because you’re paid to?

From CNS NEWS

During his speech at a National Press Club luncheon, House Judiciary Chairman John Conyers (D-Mich.), questioned the point of lawmakers reading the health care bill.

“I love these members, they get up and say, ‘Read the bill,’” said Conyers.

“What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?”

Sorry can’t seem to get the embedded code to work so hear is the link…
http://www.eyeblast.tv/public/eyeblast.swf?v=GduzuzqGqG

I mean really why read the bill it’s only 18% of the largest economy in the history of man, it’s only part of the economy that is larger than most every other economy on the face of the earth, barring only a couple. Why read it? What’s the point? It’s only what congress is paid to do… that’s why you read it… IT’S YOUR JOB!

Don’t forget CONGRESS HAS EXEMPTED THEMSELVES FROM THIS PLAN, because it’s not good enough for them but it’s good enough for you.

Obamacare, Congress exempt and euthanasia

Did you suffer through the Obama propaganda show the other night… you know the one where he said nothing about his health care plan and stuck his foot in his mouth regarding race. I’m not going to dissect every lie he told and there was many but we touch on some of the finer points of the propaganda show.

Keep in mind that Obama as of Saturday’s Radio Propaganda Address said and is still blaming the Republicans of stalling his precious Health Care Bill… this is total BS and partisan politics that he said he would not engage in… FACT if every  Republican voted NO in the Health Care Bill he could still pass it with Democrat votes, but he doesn’t have enough Democrat votes so this whiny-ass cry-baby blames the Republicans that he doesn’t need to pass his crap bill, Obama is lying which he is very prone to do.

The one think I took special note of aside from his “stupidly” comment was a question by Steve Koff, the Cleveland Plain Dealer regarding Congress and the Dear Leader being on the same plan they are trying to force on you… short answer, NO.

Transcript: Obama’s News Conference

Q: Thank you. To follow up on Jake’s question earlier, sir, so many Americans are concerned that this plan, particularly the government insurance, the public option, would lead to reduced benefits or reduced coverage.

Two questions. One, can you guarantee that this legislation will lock in and say the government will never deny any services; that that’s going to be decided by the doctor and the patient, and the government will not deny any coverage? And secondarily, can you, as a symbolic gesture, say that you and the Congress will abide by the same benefits in that public option?

THE PRESIDENT: Well, number one, not only the public option but the insurance regulation that we want to put in place will largely match up with what members of Congress are getting through the federal employee plan. That’s a good example of what we’re trying to build for the American people — the same thing that Congress enjoys, which is they go — there is a marketplace of different plans that they can access, depending on what’s best for their families.

Now, one of the plans that we’ve talked about is a public option. And part of the reason we want to have a public option is just to help keep the insurance companies honest. If the insurance companies are providing good care — and as it is, they’re going to be more regulated so that they can’t deny you care because of a preexisting condition or because you change jobs or because they’ve decided you’re too sick and not a good risk — with regulation there’s already going to be some improvement in the insurance industry.

But having a public plan out there that also shows that maybe if you take some of the profit motive out, maybe if you are reducing some of the administrative costs, that you can get an even better deal, that’s going to incentivize the private sector to do even better. And that’s a good thing. That’s a good thing.

Now, there have been reports just over the last couple of days of insurance companies making record profits — right now. At a time when everybody is getting hammered, they’re making record profits, and premiums are going up. What’s the constraint on that? How can you ensure that those costs aren’t being passed on to employers or passed on to employees, the American people, ordinary middle-class families, in a way that over time is going to make them broke? Well, part of the way is to make sure that there’s some competition out there. So that’s the idea.

Now, to get to your original question, can I guarantee that there are going to be no changes in the health care delivery system? No. The whole point of this is to try to encourage changes that work for the American people and make them healthier. The government already is making some of these decisions. More importantly, insurance companies right now are making those decisions.

And part of what we want to do is to make sure that those decisions are being made by doctors and medical experts based on evidence, based on what works — because that’s not how it’s working right now. That’s not how it’s working right now. Right now doctors a lot of times are forced to make decisions based on the fee payment schedule that’s out there.

So if they’re looking — and you come in and you’ve got a bad sore throat, or your child has a bad sore throat or has repeated sore throats, the doctor may look at the reimbursement system and say to himself, you know what, I make a lot more money if I take this kid’s tonsils out. Now that may be the right thing to do, but I’d rather have that doctor making those decisions just based on whether you really need your kid’s tonsils out or whether it might make more sense just to change — maybe they have allergies, maybe they have something else that would make a difference.

So part of what we want to do is to free doctors, patients, hospitals to make decisions based on what’s best for patient care — and that’s the whole idea behind Mayo, that’s the whole idea behind the Cleveland Clinic. I’m going to be visiting your hometown tomorrow to go to the Cleveland Clinic to show — to show why their system works so well. And part of the reason it works well is because they’ve set up a system where patient care is the number-one concern, not bureaucracy, what forms have to be filled out, what do we get reimbursed for. Those are changes that I think the American people want to see.

Q: And what about yourself and Congress? Would you abide by the same benefits package?

THE PRESIDENT: You know, I would be happy to abide by the same benefit package. I will just be honest with you — I’m the President of the United States so I’ve got a doctor following me every minute. (Laughter.) Which is why I say this is not about me. I’ve got the best health care in the world. I’m trying to make sure that everybody has good health care — and they don’t right now.

He never answered the damn question, which he rarely does. He said-and here is the money shot, I quote…

“the insurance regulation that we want to put in place will largely match up with what members of Congress are getting through the federal employee plan. That’s a good example of what we’re trying to build for the American people — the same thing that Congress enjoys,”

How is that putting Congress on the same plan as the average smuck American like you and me? Answer, it’s not and we the American people need to make real sure that if congress is going to pass a health care plan then they need to be on it too. Obama all but said THEY WILL NOT BE ON THE PLAN they are making up as they go along for you. So keep that in mind when you vote in 2010 congress or those writing the bill feel they are to good for the plan that they think is good enough for you, Obama and congress have exempted themselves from the socialized medicine they are trying to cram down your throat. Talk about elitism.

Part of this massive plan you’ll really enjoy if your are a Seasoned Citizen, Obama himself have revealed that not only watch Logan’s Run and Gattaca but they’ve incorporated it into their plan for you and not the plan for them and yes I’m speaking of euthanasia of sorts which is not about Chinese children. Obama plans talks about “End of Life counseling”

If you go over to some loony lefty sites and I don’t recommend you go there, you’ll find them rebutting this claim… let’s have a look. Politifact rejects this claim to btw so I’m not sire what they are reading… but here is the word for word and you tell me. Make special note of (F)(iii) and (IV) nothing is cut this is the complete section and they’ve written it as fuzzy as possible.

SEC. 1233. ADVANCE CARE PLANNING CONSULTATION.

(a) Medicare-

(1) IN GENERAL- Section 1861 of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395x) is amended–

(B) by adding at the end the following new subsection:

‘Advance Care Planning Consultation’

‘(hhh)(1) Subject to paragraphs (3) and (4), the term ‘advance care planning consultation’ means a consultation between the individual and a practitioner described in paragraph (2) regarding advance care planning, if, subject to paragraph (3), the individual involved has not had such a consultation within the last 5 years. Such consultation shall include the following:

‘(F)(i) Subject to clause (ii), an explanation of orders regarding life sustaining treatment or similar orders, which shall include–

‘(ii) The Secretary shall limit the requirement for explanations under clause (i) to consultations furnished in a State–

‘(iii) A program for orders for life sustaining treatment for a States described in this clause is a program that–

‘(IV) is guided by a coalition of stakeholders includes representatives from emergency medical services, emergency department physicians or nurses, state long-term care association, state medical association, state surveyors, agency responsible for senior services, state department of health, state hospital association, home health association, state bar association, and state hospice association.

‘(5)(A) For purposes of this section, the term ‘order regarding life sustaining treatment’ means, with respect to an individual, an actionable medical order relating to the treatment of that individual that–

‘(i) is signed and dated by a physician (as defined in subsection (r)(1)) or another health care professional (as specified by the Secretary and who is acting within the scope of the professional’s authority under State law in signing such an order, including a nurse practitioner or physician assistant) and is in a form that permits it to stay with the individual and be followed by health care professionals and providers across the continuum of care;

‘(ii) effectively communicates the individual’s preferences regarding life sustaining treatment, including an indication of the treatment and care desired by the individual;

‘(iii) is uniquely identifiable and standardized within a given locality, region, or State (as identified by the Secretary); and

‘(iv) may incorporate any advance directive (as defined in section 1866(f)(3)) if executed by the individual.

‘(B) The level of treatment indicated under subparagraph (A)(ii)[tcb: also known as "the patient's preferences"] may range from an indication for full treatment to an indication to limit some or all or specified interventions. Such indicated levels of treatment may include indications respecting, among other items–

‘(i) the intensity of medical intervention if the patient is pulse less, apneic, or has serious cardiac or pulmonary problems;

‘(ii) the individual’s desire regarding transfer to a hospital or remaining at the current care setting;

‘(iii) the use of antibiotics; and

‘(iv) the use of artificially administered nutrition and hydration.’.

The highlighted part is what the loons on the left claim as patients rights… will if you look at (F)(iii) and (IV) below it says a “coalition of stakeholders” of for “States described” that’s “States” capitalized and in The State.. as in State Controlled, State run as in Statist. You’ll also note that the “coalition of stakeholders” doesn’t include the patient for this “program for orders for life sustaining treatment” and while I’m not a lawyer nor do I play on one TV I read that is a coalition of stakeholders based on a State described program for orders for life sustaining treatment that doesn’t include the patient is nothing more than a group of government drones that decides if you live or die. It says…

Oh they include HOSPICE but not you… anyway you slice it, it looks to me as if some government clown will decide your fate and anyway you slice it just reading it bolsters my belief that bills needs to be written in plan English.

Obama is flat out lying to you or as he seems so apt at doing… doesn’t have all the facts. Frankly, I think he is lying to that American people and if you support this socialist fibber McGee then you need to take a long look inward and think about your country first.

Obama said his plan is deficit neutral, what I want to know is what idiot believe that? He has even gone as far as saying it would say the government money… well I guess if they reinstate the death tax, kill off all the old folks and tax the snot out of everyone than it might just be possible.

This is a BAD PLAN… leave the current system in place with modification as in tort reform, cost control, administration reduction and other common sense changes. We don’t need Obama’s plan it’s destructive and dangerous. It’s just his why of taking not only your freedom but also your health away.

Only an idiot would believe Obama has the countries best interest at heart.

Obama wouldn’t call it VICTORY… well that’s pathetic

The other day amongst many of the other stupid things Obama managed to squeeze into his busy schedule of stupidity he said…

“I’m always worried about using the word ‘victory,’ because, you know, it invokes this notion of Emperor Hirohito coming down and signing a surrender to MacArthur,” Obama told ABC News.

Obama: ‘Victory’ Not Necessarily Goal in Afghanistan

OK first thing first Obama is pathetic that this Harvard and Occidental educated grad lawyer that is serving as President of the United States doesn’t know basic Jr High School American history… Emperor Hirohito did not sign the surrender agreement to MacArthur it was signed by Japanese foreign affairs minister Mamoru Shigemitsu and Yoshijir? Umezu and you libs can call it nit-picking well you can bet your ass George W Bush wouldn’t make such a gross error in American history, but if he did you’d be on him like white on rice. So shut the hell up and admit your boy (yes I said boy) is an idiot.
But to the point at hand, Obama wouldn’t use the word “VICTORY”… you know that just absolutely disgust me, it makes me sick we have a president that is to ashamed of the might that is the US military to realize VICTORY is the objective. It’s simple when you go into battle you go for into it for VICTORY when you go onto the court or field you go for VICTORY you enter into a competition you compete for VICTORY. Any conflict has one of two out comes VICTORY or LOSS and loss is not an option. Makes my blood boil to hear this moron say these things, he is your typical limb-wristed-liberal that believe even the losers get a trophy. Well not everyone gets a trophy sometimes you loose, deal with it.

This is no way to rally the troops but respect for the military and the law enforcement agencies of America seems to be something Obama is incapable of, gawd this man is an embarrassment.

But I will agree to a small point, Obama’s victory in the election is one big loss for America so I’d say that Obama’s occupancy of the White House, well VICTORY is not a word I’d use.

A teachable moment…

blackboardObama came out today and tossed more fuel on the racial fire claiming this is a teachable moment… in fact he says that phrase a lot and I’m sick of hearing it as I don’t need his teachable moments, reality is Obama is the one who needs some schooling. I’m so tired of listening to this arrogant ass run around and act like he knows so much… he wouldn’t last 5 minutes in my world. But I digress…

Barack Obama said on Friday he should have chosen his words more carefully when he said police “acted stupidly”

Really Capt Obivious? So since Gates is black and the arresting officer is white… who hear is really guilty of racial profiling, it would seem to me that those profiling are none other than Gates and Obama by promoting their assumption of what a white officer may be thinking when they are doing their damn job, so put that teachable moment in your pipe dream and smoke it. It would seems that in Obama’s world all minorities are victims and all whites are guilty. However, what Obama should have said was… “I don’t know the facts of the arrest so I have no comment about it.” PERIOD! But that would require some personal responsibility, some common damn sense and the qualities of a true leader of which Obama has ZERO of any.

Other stupid stuff Obama said…

Because this has been ratcheting up — and I obviously helped to contribute ratcheting it up — I want to make clear that in my choice of words, I think, I unfortunately… gave an impression that I was maligning the Cambridge police department or Sgt. Crowley specifically,” the president said. “And I could’ve calibrated those words differently. And I told this to Sgt. Crowley.”

“Calibrate” your words more carefully? How you just keep your words to yourself… that’s Obama’s biggest problem he doesn’t know when to STFU! And not “maligning the Cambridge police department or Sgt. Crowley specifically” you said they acted “stupidly” without knowing the fact… that’s maligning Mr-College-Professor-President Dumbass.

What is clear hear to me or so it would seem is that a disproportionate amount of the racism in America is held and inflected by the black community and the likes of Barack Obama and Henry Louis Gates…. why? I don’t know why, but I have theories. One reason is as long as you have idiots like Rev Wright, Al “not so” Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Gates, Obama and 100′s more running around talking about mean old crackers and you are peddling as a costermonger in racism thinking that “the man” held you down then it will continue to exist. And allow me to let the black community in on a little FACT… crying racism every time something happens to you that you don’t like or rubs you the wrong way… it’s not helping your plight, be responsible and stop making excuses. We white folks are sick of hearing the belly aching. Shut up, grow up and take some damn responsibilities for you plight in this world. Sometimes you don’t get a promotion because you’re not qualified, sometimes you get pull over is because you did something wrong, sometimes it really is racism… most of the time it’s not. Learn the difference.

OH and just so you know the oppressed-racially-profiled-black-Professor Gates lives in a town with the black Mayor that is in a state with a black Governor in a country with the black President and we still have a long way to go on race relations and equality in this country? Shut the %$&@ UP!! You have a long way to go to find reality, “Dreams of my Father”, “I have a Dream” … wake up from your dream and deal with the hear and now. Buy yet we have a President that will fly all over the world to apologize to every second and third rate country on the the planet and still Obama can’t apologize to a WHITE Police Sargent for calling his actions stupid while not knowing the facts. What does that say about Obama and what he really feels in his heart of hearts?

Video: Police union demands an apology from Obama, Patrick

Gates made two critical mistakes here…. one he played the race card immediately, this will never help the black cause… never, never, never! The race card is like the sexism card you play it and your discredit yourself as a agenda driven whiner. Then he played “do you know who I am” card… it doesn’t matter who you are and so far I haven’t met a single person that every heard of Gates better yet knows who he is, perhaps Professor Gates, just perhaps you are not nearly as important as you think you are, check your arrogance at the door. Who you are and what color you are doesn’t matter and shouldn’t matter in the eyes of the law.

Let me add one thought to this post… when a cop shows up they do not know if you are the homeowner, if you are a burglar, if you are involved in domestic violence and you’ve been locked out, they don’t read minds and that’s why it’s called an investigation… jeez Gates was just being a bigot and so was Obama.

So listen to me and listen closely… this entire debate is not about race as much as it’s about class and elitism… as Bill Krystal said and I’m paraphrasing here, ‘would Barack Obama have weighed in on this debate if it was some poor black kid he didn’t know breaking into his home he locked himself out of?’ Obama put himself into this debate and immediately took the position that Gates was his friend and his friend was telling the truth and the white cop was lying and Obama drew this conclusion without any facts or insider knowledge of the case and yet he chose to go on the national stage as President and make definitive and inflammatory statements against the police thus proving that Barack Obama is nothing more than a race merchant with the likes of Jesse Jackson, Jeremiah Wright, Al Sharpton and others that spout off without having their story straight and knowing the FACTS.

Let me continue on with my our little TEACHABLE MOMENT and just piss every “protected class” off while I’m at it. Make a mental note: I am not dealing in generalities here like Obama does, this is in no way all inclusive of every member of a “protected class” so consider yourself notified. If it doesn’t apply to you then don’t get pissy with me.. I’m not speaking for every white guy in the country anymore than Obama speaks for every black guy in the country and he as President damn sure doesn’t speak for me, I respect the police officers of our country and have several that I call my friends.

The following is just food for thought in regards to Obama’s claim of struggle, inequality, oppression and whatever else he is whining about this week…

Now, if I was an employer why would I hire a person of a “protected class” if I thought there was a chance they would sue me down the road for some trumped up claim of racism or sexism? Is that racist or sexist to cover your assets from loss? (Don’t tell me there are no trumped up claims of racism and sexism, you know there are and if you are a white male you’ve likely been accused of it multiple times.) Instead of all this “protected classes” looking for some form of harassment or discrimination at every turn and there are those that do, how about you just tolerate it just as white men have tolerate so much from every protected class in the damn word, you know tolerance that everyone up to and including Obama preaches about… but they only preach, that those evil white men are suppose to be tolerant ones and no one else is subject to be.

So anywho… every “protected” class runs around claiming that white men get favoritism and jobs just because they are white and they are men… well think about it white men are the only class of people that an employer can hire that can’t sue them on some claim of racism, sexism or discrimination. They have NO LAWS that protect them from a damn thing exclusively as a group. I’m not saying sexism or racism doesn’t exist, but there are many bogus cases that cost employers millions, so why would those employers be willing put themselves knowingly at risk of litigation when they can avoid it? And if you don’t think employers factor risk then you are fooling yourself. For example employer will check and ask you if you ever filed a worker comp claim, if you have… then best of luck getting hired, some employers will check you credit report, others will do a background check all to factor risk you pose to them and in this lawsuit happy day and age we find ourselves in they will factor race, gender and sexual orientation into that risk albeit never said openly. Any protected class of citizen has a certain amount of risk to hire and therefore they find it more difficult than a white men as a unprotected risk-free class to get a job. Doesn’t make white men better, just makes them less legal liability. Never thought about that did you? The very laws some of these people lobby for to have passed to protect and help them in the workplace in reality hinders and restricts them in a stealth manner. What some folks need to understand is that sometimes it’s not racism or sexism it just rudeness and as far as I know it’s not against the law to be rude, if it is I’d be serving life.

Do you want true equality? I mean 100% true equality? Get rid of the legal stepping stones in addition to having the legal winds to your back and only then will the playing field be level. As long as you have laws that help you, you will never have true equality. Or options two, grow the hell up and stop whining about every little thing that you don’t find fair or rubs you the wrong way. Life’s not fair not everything is going to go your way… sometimes you’re the dog and sometimes you’re the tree, get use to it.

Now back to the case at hand…

If Obama wants to argue disproportionate arrest of minorities… go Google crime rates by ethnic groups and get back to me. I’ll cite one example… black Americans make up 16% of the US population, however they commit 52% of all the US murders… I’d call that a disproportionate crime rate to the population, therefore making black more suspect than whites and that’s NOT RACISM it’s statistics. So thank the police for the job they do and clean up your own damn community. I swear Obama has set race relations in this country back decades with this rookie mistake and sooner you see that the sooner the real “healing” can begin.

One closing thought… Obama said that “race is still a troubling aspect of American society to this day” then I say fine, get rid of it. Stop hyphenating races and everyone that is American and just be Americans, period.
