We know that all of these boondoggles are paid for by taxpayers, but how about adding the value of these expenses to THEIR income and having THEM pay 39.6% out of THEIR pocket. And they could pay back taxes with interest after their term is up (unless they're in line for a cabinet post) How about paying politicians the average household income of their tax paying constituents. That would get them to do their jobs! If they wanted more pay then they would have to do something to make the standard of living better in their district. Really think about it, why do they have to be paid over $200K a year for what they do? A bunch of lemmings could do what this bunch of clowns has done for the last month, they should be paid as such.
