		<description>Not to be overlooked in this is veteran liemaker er lawmaker Senator Chris Dodd, D-Conneticut, who&#039;s masterful crafting of the bailout bill gave AIG the legal loopholes to handout these bonuses. 
When originally hemmed up about it he lied to the press and said that someone else put the loophole in there after the fact. 
Once the witch hunt was concluded it all came back to him  so now his spin is &quot; I did it, but they made me do it&quot;   they meaning other members of the senate finance committee. 
Incidentally, one of the largest AIG offices happens to be in his district (no surprise there) 
Aren&#039;t these the same people that are bringing criminal charges up against baseball players for the same behavior?  
This do as I say and not as I do mentality has got to go </description>
